Mission: Peace, or Something Like It
Location: Council Chamber, New Paris, Turkana IV
Timeline: Immediately after "Same Cats, More Juggling, part 3"

The lights flickered, and went dark, and several voices began yelling, as darkly-clad individuals entered the room.


An intoxicating gas began to fill, almost instantly, as several knock-out gas grenades were thrown into the room.

"Don't hurt Lumiya." One of them said.

"Grab the Betazoid, and that idiot Grand Marshall!" A second noted.

A third, from the doorway the Grand Marshall had just left through, yelled "I've got him. Let's get out."

And within seconds, it was over. Unconscious bodies were hauled off in the form of Commander York, and the Grand Marshall.

"Lumiya is fine. Let's go." The first said.

And then they were gone. The lights remained off, and the gas only had about a 5-10 minute effect to it.

Nava slowly came to "Captain?" She slowly got to her feet =^=Nava to Calypso. The Captain has been taken.=^= She moved around to check on the others, the gas still slightly affecting her.

Erin had had the savvy to pull the collar of her shirt over her mouth as she felt the bodies dropping to the floor, so she was the next to wake up, the gas still powerful, but filtered slightly.
''Wha- oh hell.'' She jumped to her feet as fast as she could, fighting the grogginess and reached into her boots, pulling out the concealing knife from them and hiding it in her sleeve.
''Captain? Captain!'' She yelled, making for the door before considering.
''They're long gone, we need a search party.'' She made for Major Raine, dropping to her knees beside him and shaking him by the shoulders, yelling what she thought would most encourage him to beat the effects of the gas.
''Damon!! Wake up! Its Sam, she's gone!''

The Major was slow to wake out of his haze. Everything felt distant and detached as words that seemed to have no origin filled his head. He wouldn't have paid any attention to them save for the fact that Samantha's name was involved. Almost like running through a paper barrier, his mind had sudden clarity and his eyes snapped open.

Damon found himself lying on the cold floor with Erin kneeling beside him. The memory of the attack started coming back to him and he unconsciously reached for his sidearm before picking himself slowly off the ground.

"...Did you say Sam was gone...?" He asked her as his eyes darted around the room hoping he had mistaken her words.

Erin nodded, standing up and looking around. ''Her and the grand marshall. Nava already contacted the Caly, but theres no indicator how long we were out. They could be anywhere.''

Tovan was caught off guard by the sudden attack just like everyone else in the room was. However, due to his physical attributes it took slightly longer for the gas to completely knock him out and as he was in process of passing out he had over-heard the attackers mention Lumiya on several different occasions. He was helpless to stop the attack and soon found himself on the floor. It was several minutes later that his eyes snapped open and he looked around the room and the chaos that was created.

Tovan watched as the personal body guards from Alliance rushed into the room. Several of them made their way over to Lumiya and checked to make sure she was okay, after that they escorted her out of the room.

Gloriana woke and took a moment to listen to what was being said around her. Who had invaded the conference room? She heard guards enter and escort Lumiya out. When they were gone, she sat up and looked around, taking note of who was still in the room. "What happened?" she asked before going over to Xon. "Are you okay?" she asked him.

Xon lay on the floor, still too groggy to respond.

The rest of the Coalition delegation had been whispering to themselves. They glared at the others. "You will pay for this," one of them said before they marched out of the room.

Nava's first instinct was to go after the delegation. Instead she turned to Erin "I heard them saying something about not hurting Lumiya." Nava shook her head "I could be wrong...."

Erin scowled. ''I wouldnt be surprised if you were right. Someone here obviously was'nt happy about theese meetings. It wouldnt be a far cry to guess that something like this was staged.''
