Personality & Traits
General Overview | At work, Erin is professional, patient and understanding with her clients and patients, but personally she's a rough-tempered person with the skill of fighting to break a neck with her bare hands without thinking about it. She keeps this part of her personality supressed, but in tight situations she can become slightly feral. She's usually freindly with a sarcastic humour and loves irony and dry wit. She enjoys soltitude but is a people person, liking to talk and offer assistance wherever she can, but from a glance it would be hard to tell that she was a counceller, as she doesnt have that gentle sweet air that most councellers are sterotyped with. Erin is also very impulsive and tends to make a choice and think about the merits or consequences afterwards. However she is not naive and is quick to judge people on first impressions, even though she treats everyone equally in compliance with her oaths of confidenciality and service. Good at her job, but her personality differs when she is working and when she's off duty as she can relax more then. Comes across as blunt with a rustic freindly charm , but has a serious and professional side, hiding any insecurities she has with a wry grin and humor. |
|
Strengths & Weaknesses | Strenghts: A good listener and dedicated to her job. She's a good fighter in the rare situations when she needs to use it. She's good at making people feel relaxed around her and has a good humour to do so. Weaknesses: Her predjudices still stand against over Kazon sects, even though she knows how stupid the fighting is. Is impatient at anything else outside her job. Has a bad temper. Judges easily. |
|
Ambitions | As of yet, to just keep councelling and helping whereever she can. Has no desire to captain a ship or rise in the upper ranks of Starfleet for now. | |
Hobbies & Interests | Erin loves swiming and the occaisional combat sport in the holodeck and in starfleet academy became obsessed with the Guitar, and plays it whenever she gets the chance. She loves any kind of adventure in the holodeck- often the more extreme adventures like cliff-diving to get the addrenniline rush she wass so used to feeling in Kazon space. Loves music from any quadrant and loves to sing, even if she cant do it well. Loves 3 dimensional chess and writing. |

Personal History | Part of the Kazon collective, Erin grew up in the Halik sect. Because all the different sects were always fighting, she spent her childhood with a knife in one hand and a doll in the other. She grew up mostly on the huge battleships of the Halik sect or one of the colonies they would temporarily take rest on. Erin grew up with extreme predjudices against the other tribes and a warlike attitude towards them, along with a strong loyality towards her own sect. It was only when she hit her late teenage years that the predjudices started to fade and she grew sick of the constant battling and war. It was at this time that the wars between sects grew to its most bloody and violent. After the cruiser her family was on nearly got destroyed by a Relora battleship she decided to run away. Erin joined a group of other fugitive Kazon's from the Halik sect that were planning an escape, and after a few months of careful planning they were able to steal one of the cruiser ships in a guise of a recon mission and desert the sect. Four days later they landed on a small trading planet where a contact was waiting for them and they were brought to a huge sleeper ship, always nearly full with the deserters of other sects. Divided into quarters, Erin and the 16 other Kazon's were put into stasis for the long journey out of the Delta quadrant- anywhere their sects wouldn't find and punish them for deserting. 300 years later the still 16-year old Erin was awoke by federation troops that has encountered the ship arriving in their space. The refugee's were disorientated and fought back but were soon calmed by reassurances of their locations and freedom. Erin was kept with her other kinsmen from the Halik sect aborad the nearest starbase untill a the paperwork was sorted out and they were found a suitable camp to make home on,on a refugee planet. Erin spent the rest of her years in the Federation and when she was 17 worked for a few years at a bar, fitting in with the other various types that floated in and out of the area. One night a young ensign entered the bar and after getting quite drunk, tried to hit on her. After nearly breaking his arm, Erin plied him with free drink so he would'nt report her and as he got steadily drunker, she found out about Starfleet Academy. The sound of medicine and counselling immeadiatly took her fancy and she quit the bar the next day and found the nearest shuttlecraft leaving for a Starfleet academy. After years of war and violence the contrast of helping people instead of murdering them seemed like an interesting line of work and she took it eagerly, using her Federation citizenship to transferr to Earth to attend Starfleet Academy til she was finally accepted. |
