Mission: Revenge
Location: Gladiatorial Compound, Planetside

[CONTINUED]

[Team Two]

Thomas Bosley led his team carefully through the tunnel, using his night vision goggles to see his way. The air was fresh with a hint of sweat and blood, indicating they were on the right path.

The silence was broken only by the sounds of footfalls and the occasional murmur.

Slowly, other sounds began to penetrate the silence. Yelling. "Weapons at the ready," he ordered quietly.

He signaled for a scout to do recon and report while he continued on his steady pace forward.

Several minutes later, the scout returned. "It's some sort of arena. There's a Klingon and what looks like security. Both are wounded. Orions in the stands, yelling for blood. Not sure what happened, but it looks like a good distraction for us to go in.

Thomas nodded. "Good. Take a flash bang. I don't want to do any damage, but we should add to the chaos.

The scout nodded and slipped ahead. Two minutes later, there was a loud BOOM.

Thomas waved everyone forward. "Take out the enemy and keep your heads down," he ordered.

Frost never responded as she stopped at a man who clutched his leg. She did a quick scan and determined it was a bad burn but he would live. She pumped him full of pain killers, and started basic repair on the burn.

Roberta grabbed the Scout.."You sure you saw a Klingon? Did he have ridges on his forehead?"

"Don't all Klingons?" the scout retorted. "Yeah. This guy was a Klingon. He didn't look so good, though. Like he'd been put through the ringer."

Roberta looked around for an officer; seeing none, she grabbed Frost. "Doc, I'm going ahead, I have to find him.." Saying her say, she sped off towards where the captives might be.

=^= Team Two engaging enemy, two Confirmed Federation Personnel.=^= Orin transmit; the first loud grenade going off would set an alert anyway so best to get the signal out.

Orin stood ready as they were heading towards the secured area, the Federation Personnel would be there, the only Green Friendly on his notes was an esign. He figured if it is green and male, it gets shot." A simple rule before you add the 'they had to have a weapon to count as a target.

[Prison Cell]

A large explosion came from the area of the arena. Sam readied her weapon and turned to the others. "That's our cue to get out of here. All of you, get out and contact the ship. I have some business to deal with."

"Commodore wait." Vance said placing her hand on Samantha's shoulder. "I have to find Sergeant Beckinsale, I won't leave this facility without her."

Sam nodded. "Go. Find her," she said. "Good luck, Alexandra."

Alexandra gave Samantha a nod and hurriedly made her way into the cell block. She knew Amarylis would not have much time especially if her captors were alerted to the fight ensuing around them. She hoped her old friend had enough fight in her to survive until Alexandra found her.

[Team One]

Peter Parhtz slowly moved towards the sound of people. It wasn't organized or riotous, but it did sound chaotic. The tunnel opened into a small cavern with six large Orion males standing guard.

"Hey, ugly!" he said, loud enough to get their attention. "I'm the Cavalry." With that, he shot two of them with his rifle.

Shaking his head, Cam stunned one of the other guards, leaving the rest for his team to deal with. Figuring he was close enough, he reached out with his mind, ~Kara, can you hear me?~

[Prison Cell]

"Cam?" Kara turned to Sam and the others and grinned. "Permission to join the other Marines."

Sam grinned back. "Permission granted."

Several security officers had already vacated the cell. Kara headed in the opposite direction. "On my way to your twenty."

Ignatz entered the cell cautiously, "Starfleet?"

Sam was quietly giving instructions to a junior officer. She turned at the words. "Yes."

"Lieutenant Ignatz Jones, formerly Chaplin and Acting Chief Diplomat of the USS Nimitz, Ma'am. I was on my way to Starbase 332 for re-assignment when I was captured. Reporting." Ignatz swayed a little as he spoke, despite his best efforts. The adrenaline from earlier had worn off and he was feeling weak from hunger and thirst.

From a safe distance Spartacus saw 'Kitty Ignatz' go into the safety of the prison cells, she smiled for a second, another one saved, she quickly turned her attention topwards getting back to the Slave Girl Area, best ti mingle with a bunch of women unarmed and seemingly helpless NOT to get Spartacus shot, she could always identify herself on the ship and be separated later.

[Team One]

~Understood, be careful~ Cam responded before turning to his team, "I've made contact with Sergeant Melo, she's heading our way. Make sure you check your targets. Let's move" Cam said, motioning towards another tunnel that lead further into the facility.

Parhtz nodded. "Yes, sir. No shooting Marines, sir." He slowed his ingress just in case he accidentally ran into the wrong person.

Several minutes later, Kara heard the sounds of approaching footsteps. She slipped into an empty cell and waited. She needed to be sure it was Cam before she made her presence known.

A quick mental brush assured her and she waited long enough for Peter to pass her before stepping out. "You need to watch your nine, Private."

Peter jumped and turned quickly, rifle at the ready. "Gunny! Ma'am!" He quickly lowerd his rifle. "Good to see you again, ma'am!"

Stepping from behind Peter, Cam confirmed it was Kara and lowered his pistol, "sergeant, can you lead us to the others?" He said in his authoritative voice ~damn I'm glad you're alive~

"Trust me, so am I," she replied, catching his eye for a moment and smiling. She had to mentally chastise herself to keep from hugging Cam in front of his men. Get a grip, Marine! she ordered herself. "Yes, sir. This way."
