Mission: Subjugation
Location: In the Mines

ON

It had to happen. Really, it did. There had to be Klingons who didn't know the name 'Chuk Norris'.

"Stand aside, Klingon." Daniels said, harshly. "Or you shall feel the righteous wrath of Chuck Norris."

"Who?" The Klingon demanded. "I fear no human."

And Daniels was abruptly smacked several steps backwards.

Right before Jil drop kicked the Klingon, after a twenty foot run, and a good, lengthy jump.

"Elegant strategy." Stran said, with a nod.

Another Klingon made the mistake of hitting Jil.

He was vaporized.

Little Tramira pointed the disruptor at the next Klingon. "Enough." She said, in Klingon.

Which wasn't heard.

Cassandra, a limping Stran, and Robert were quick to surround the armed child.

2.192231 minutes later, precisely, there were seven unconscious Klingons, one collection of disassociated Hydrogen atoms that used to be a Klingon, and a group of rather randy looking Andorians parting the way, wanting no part of a fight with an armed opponent.

"The way is clear." Stran indicated.

Daniels rubbed his cheek. "I haven't been smacked that hard since I tried hitting on Kyt."

"That does not surprise me." Stran said, limping past him.

Ronnie bowed her head so they didn't see her smile in response to their conversation. She was happy to let the others take the lead, keeping more to the back. She was a good shot with a phaser, but she preferred to stay in the back and pick off anyone who slipped past the leaders. She glanced over at Damion to make sure he was okay. Even though he was himself again with no signs of Johnny, she was still worried he might have a relapse.

She glanced over at Apu, who seemed to be unaffected by the size of the bundle he carried. Not only that, he wielded a wicked-looking disruptor. Once, she heard someone yell, but Apu shot him before she had a chance to see who it was.

Damion looked over to Ronnie and met her glance with a smile. He could sense the concern from her, but paid no attention to it. It wasn't the time, nor the place to be stopping and asking about what her concerns were about. Damion was only concerned about making it to the tower, which he heard was the center of their operation. If they could make it there and take it, they were one step closer to getting off this rock.

He also was worried about Captain York. She was important in getting them off, but he had no idea what she had in mind. Not to mention, he was concerned about her and Damon making it back. Damion just wanted to break this all off and go for Sam, but his better judgement was telling him she could handle herself and that his orders were already given. His worries were getting everyone out in one piece, at the cost of his own life. Even though Ronnie would find a way to bring him back, just to kill him again for doing so.

Doc was limping along with he good enough for patch up job, still weak and little wobly.

A half-dozen men surrounded the group. "Where do you think you're going?"

"Away." Daniels said. "Problem with that?"

Doctor Bowen was following the medic to make sure that he can keep up to make this escape. She remained quiet and depended on her crewmember's expertise to leave this place as well as protection from those in security.

"Yeah. Give us your weapons and anything else you're carrying. Then we'll let you pass. Otherwise," he grinned evilly, "We'll just have to kill you for them."

Kara slowly moved her disruptor into position. She was behind the others, so it was easier to conceal her movement. She glanced at Cam and Trent, knowing they'd understand. If anyone died today, it wouldn't be any of them.

Daniels chuckled. Cassandra and Stran raised their eyebrows, at roughly the same time. Daniels pointed a finger at the man, as though he was going to shoot him with his finger.

"Pew pew" Daniels said.

Where the third pew should have been, a small figure, from the shadows, vaporized the offending man.

"pew!" Daniels finished, in approximate unison.

Kara rolled her eyes and shot two more thugs as they raised their weapons. "Sorry, buddy. This dance is taken."

With four of the six down, Ronnie left the two lone gunmen to security and the Marines. Instead, she slipped ahead of the group to scout for more trouble. IF there was one group out to ambush them, there were bound to be more.

Ronnie generally wasn't the type to skulk around and spy on people, but in the mines she'd learned to keep a low profile and watch out for trouble. Sam often sent her out to look for missing crew. Now, she used those newly-acquired skills to make sure the coast was clear for the others.

It was Robert, who had a voice of sanity, of the security crew. He look at the remaining men. "Join us, or leave us be. I care not. We're getting out." He said, in his thick british accent. "Those, however, are your only options. If it was up to any of the others you are facing, you would not be given even those, but I'm tired of seeing blood spilled, or vaporized, so I'm offering nicely."

Cassandra, Daniels, and Jillilah all turned to look at Robert. No one said anything, they just gave him a look, like he was daft. Stran, simply nodded, approvingly. "We are Starfleet officers." He added very quietly. "It is not our duty to kill all those who oppose us. It's our duty to seek new life, new civilizations, and new friends. If they will help us, logic dictates we offer them the politeness to not disassociate their molecules."

Robert looked from Daniels, to Cassandra, to Stran. "Glad someone got my point."

The two looked at each other, then looked to where the other four had been. "We surrender -- or give in. Whatever you want, we're with you," they said.

"Okay, then," Kara said. "Follow him and I'll keep an eye on you. We can always use a few more people on our side."
