"When your world has changed as much as mine, you, too, would care as I do." She turned and walked out the door, expecting the others to follow.

Sam looked at Damon, then at the others and nodded. Then she turned and followed Gloriana.
Gloriana led them into a large chamber with tiered rows of benches on three sides and a large viewscreen on the fourth. In the middle of the floor was a large oblong table. "The three who will be part of the conclave may sit at the table. The rest of you must sit in one of the rows." She indicated the rows of benches.
Damon didn't make too much noise over the arrangements. He used hand signals to indicate that the squad of Marines should break into fire teams and take up positions at the ends of each set of tiered seats.
Once he was satisfied that the area was secured, he sat himself in the front row of one of the tiers. It's going to be a long day. He thought to himself.
Nava looked around the chamber taking in her surroundings and looking for potential hazards. She noticed the Marine squad taking up positions at the end of the rows. She sat quietly looking for indication of those that would be doing the negotiations. She was nervous, but kept a calm exterior.
Tovan followed the group into the chamber and then to the rows where they had been instructed to have a seat. He tried not to make it too obvious but he took in their surroundings paying attention to every little detail that this room had to offer. He looked at the decorations that where laid out in the room even the color of the walls and the seating arrangement. He didn't sit down right away but waited for everyone in his group to be seated before he took his own seat.
Sam watched the other take their seats in the rows and noted where Damon sat. She took a seat nearest to him. Not because she was concerned, but because she wanted Damon to feel more at ease. She signaled for Erin and Nava to join her.
When the three were seated, Gloriana nodded to a man at one of the back doors. The man returned the nod and opened the door.
Four men and two women dressed in formal attire walked in, followed by two dozen more. The first six took their seats at the council table. The rest filed into the benches to watch.
One of the women that took a seat at the table was Lumiya Onasi. She was at the table as the representative for the Alliance. During the conflict she had become the leader of the Alliance and has remained in that position even after the cease fire treaty had been put in affect. To an outsider she comes across as someone that isn't much older than forty years of age. She stands tall and carries herself well. She seems like someone that has seen tough times and fought through a great deal. She has a pretty face with red hair and beautiful green eyes. Her womanly features hidden behind the formal wear, but one can see the curves that her body offers.
Following closely behind her was the leader for the Coalition, Grand Marshal Teenan Varik. He was the very picture of military stature; tall, strong and confident. His uniform was cut perfectly for his frame and adorned with rows of gleaming awards and patches signifying his rank and military prowess.
It was obvious that this man had seen fighting, he walked with a slight limp due to a prosthetic leg and the side of his face was scarred with plasma burns that claimed a portion of his left ear. The visual injuries did nothing to shy him from company, if anything he wore them like a badge of honour, far more prised than his many military awards.
He looked to the Starfleet officers in attendance as he walked in and his impassive expression turned sour. Contempt for the Federation was clear in his brief glance. He would later chastise his second in command, who followed a few steps off his heels, for not informing him that they would be here.
Nava immediately noticed Varik's change in demeanor and made a mental note of it. He could potentially be the lynch pin in the negotiations.
Without any words he sat himself at the far end of the table, away from the Alliance and Union leaders. He was none too happy about being here, especially now that the Federation had been invited.
