"All hands, we have arrived at Typhon. Because of our stowaways, all transportation will be by transporter. Shuttlebays will be cleansed before the shuttles are allowed to transfer to the Calypso. Check with your department heads for leave rotations."

Sam turned to Erin, "Anything you suggest besides R&R to help with the transfer to the Calypso?"
Erin looked thoughtful. ''Letting the crew spend some time on the ship while in dock before the rehaul might be good.'' She replied eventually, chin in hand. ''People can become very attached to objects. It might be an opportunity for them to say 'goodbye', so to speak.''
''Or alternatively if there's no time to do that, an opening ceremony to the Calypso usually starts off with an air of optimism. It might warm people to the idea.''
"Hmm. I hadn't thought of that," Sam replied. "We still have a lot of work to do on the Orion to prepare for the transfer. I will consider some sort of ceremony."
Erin nodded with a smile. ''Okay, let me know if I can help with anything else."
Nava returned to her quarters to freshen up before going to Typhon to meet with some of the other diplomats.
"Commander York, the Typhon's database notes that there are diplomatic conference lounges, which may be booked for such uses." Lorne said. "I'll leave the contact details in Ensign Nava's paperwork, and yours as well."
Nava wasn't the only one wanting to meet with some of the diplomats. One of them was Lorne's sister, and he had been digging through the Typhon diplomatic database, trying to see what the guest list looked like.
Though there were a few more sudden surges, Kaj managed to get the Orion safely docked. However, that was just the start of his busy day.
"Orion is docked skipper, all clamps are locked down and showing green. With your permission ill rally flight control and all the pilots in the primary shuttlebay, make final checks while we sanitize the flight decks of those vermin."
Sam grinned at Kaj, relieved to have no further incidents.
"If you need any assistance, Kaj, I can dispatch some security officers to help." Jaxara noted.
Sam nodded. "Thanks." She looked to Sheridan. "The bridge is yours. I'm going to make sure the crew on the Typhon takes proper precautions with the offloading."
"Yes captain, Sheridan." He continued to monitor the transporter filters to ensure none of the dreaded Voles jumped ship to the starbase.

Damon walked through the Marine cargo bay directing large groups of Marines who were handling the materials to be brought on to the Typhon. Many of the Marines' supplies would be replenished and already on board their new ship; however, much of what was on hand could only be acquired through special requisitions and Damon wasn't willing to wade through the waiting list to get the materials he had access to right now. Everything that was hard to come by was set aside and tagged for transfer to the Calypso.
"I want each of these crates checked over before they are off loaded to the starbase." He said pointing at the stacks of them by the bay doors. "I'm sure they won't want any of those critters running through the corridors, so be sure to be thorough."
Satisfied with their response, Damon next turned to the Marines attending the MARGO's, giving the machines a critical eye before addressing the men standing by. "I don't want these two lost in the mess." He said, pointing at the vehicles "You will personally ensure that they get transferred to the Calypso. This is your only job, understood?"
The Corporal nodded. "Yes Sir. We'll sleep in the drivers seats if we have to."
Damon grinned and gave the man a nod. "I like that. See that it's taken care of." Without another word he turned and went to the next group awaiting orders...it was going to be a long day.
Looking at his own part of the Marines, Leroy was busy loading weapons and explosives. He had dealt with trying to get these made before, and it wasn't fun. Someone up the chain always saw a reason to say no. 'It isn't needed Lieutenant. Explosives should never be used unless fired from the main ship.' That had been the last time he had asked for anything high powered. He hadn't even been part of a ship borne Marine crew when he had asked as a Platoon Leader.
"Make sure everything's secure Sergeant. We don't want anything moving around and blowing an impromptu air lock into the side of the starbase." The Sergeant nodded and started double-checking everything. It was an easy move, and they wouldn't find any trouble when it was time. All the beasts were dead, and should have been flushed. "You three," he said to the privates standing around. "Search every crate on this side of the cargo bay for any of our visitors. We don't want Typhon getting infected as well do we?"
