Mission: Deadly Diplomacy

Suddenly the Calypso was rocked violently sending personnel and sparks alike hurling across the bridge.
"Commodore! Direct hit to the main deflector! Shields are down." an officer reported.

Chris felt the ship shake violently, and became aware of an explosion behind him. Sparks flew from one console, and the damage alert systems started blaring loudly. "CLOSE DOWN THAT CONDUIT!" Chris ordered, as he saw a gaseous cloud shooting out from the conduit. He growled as he saw the shields had gone down. "WE NEED TO GET THE SHIELDS BACK ONLINE! REROUTE POWER THROUGH THE SECONDARY SYSTEMS!" He called out.
"Chief, the power transfer conduits are damaged." Jensen told him.
"Not even five minutes and she's testing my promise to keep her together." Chris muttered to himself as he went to the control panel. He quickly ran a scan, and looked at Jensen. "Alright, we can reroute power through the tertiary systems, giving us a chance to put the primary's back together. Not gonna be pretty but it'll work." Chris said. Jensen nodded.
"What about the secondaries?" Jensen asked, as the two of them looked at the Master Display.
"They took a hit when we lost shields. Whoever's shooting at us got a damned lucky hit. Now, let's get this done." He ordered. As they quickly rerouted power, Chris smiled, seeing the results. "Hartley to bridge, I've gotten you forty percent shields back. Make the most of it; until I can replace the power conduits, that's as much as I can do." Chris said, as he grabbed a repair kit.

"Thank you," Sam replied to Engineering.
She turned to the crew on the bridge. "Find what hit us and disable it."
To helm she added, "Prepare for evasive maneuvers."
Kela tapped on the tactical console, bringing up shields and preparing all weapons. "Shields back up. Weapons are primed, Captain. Just say the word and I'll send them straight to the bad place."

The explosion nearly knocked Illise from her chair. She managed to avoid it by quickly grabbing hold of the console in front of her. The other ship's cloak was gone and full readings on the vessel filled her screens, but she had little time to review them - the Caly was under attack. There was another ship out there. Setting her scanners to record every detail of the crippled vessel, Illise set parameters for another scan of the surrounding space, looking for similar readings that would indicate another active cloak. For several frustrating seconds nothing appeared, and then there is was. The reading was small, barely registering, but the signatures were the same. There was another cloaked ship, and it wasn't very far away. "Sir!" she called to Lieutenant Andrews, "There's another one! Port side, 7,000 kilometers!"
"Get that info stat to the Bridge ! And to Phaser control!" Andrews shouted back at Illise.
"Yes sir!" Illise quickly did as she was told and routed the data to the bridge and to phaser control. The cloaked ship was moving slowly, stalking it's prey. It's course would have it over the bridge in moments.
Andrews sent her findings to the Bridge along with Ilisa. Her stomach felt like it was full of butterflies, and she put one hand to her mouth. She turned around to Illise. "Ensign. I hate to say this, but I'm going to be sick. " Andrews felt her World turning upside down, and her eys looked at the ceiling as she collapsed to the floor.
"Lieutenant!" Illise ran to Andrew's side, but was took late to catch her. She slammed her combadge as she knelt down and rolled her onto her side. "Ensign Hale to Sickbay! Medical emergency in the Main Science Lab!"
Tag Frost
[Sickbay]
As the ship was hit, Frost felt herself loose her footing, she grasped for the nearest object her hand connected with one of the moveable trays and she continued downward as it shot out and away from her. The floor tumbled ever closer, far closer then she liked and Ilse landed on her arm, pain shot up it as the jar impacted it her teeth slammed together as she hit her chin on the edge of a bio-bed. She cursed quietly "Fizzle Sticks" as she tasted blood. She righted herself she gasped out loud "Is everyone all right?"
Helga crawled out from under a biobed, moving a tray of instruments from in front of her. "I am well, but I need to sterilize everything again."
Galen was tossed to the floor with the others, but could not be hurt by the impact. Several instruments and other objects were scattered everywhere. She heard Dr. Frost curse and knew that she was hurt. "I am alright." she responded to the question.
Dr. Frosts fingers deftly felt along her jarred arm, it seemed ok and so she righted the cart, and started to pick up tools, tricorders and a few padds. "Be ready for people with injures"
"Standing by," said Arnon.
"We are ready Sir." With a hit like that they could expect patients with multiple injuries to be arriving very soon. Galen picked up several instruments as she crossed over to Frost. "Is your arm hurt Doctor?"
Frost shook her head
"Doctor Frost," said Arnon firmly. "You will allow Dr. Galen to treat injury. You are of no use to the injured if you yourself are injured."
Frost smirked slightly "That" Ilse motioned at the emergency medical hologram "is not exactly a doctor, more like a smattering of molecules and circuits but I will let it check my arm. Although it feels quite fine."
Galen sighed. She knew that she would have to accept some skepticism from her shipmates, and had not been surprised when lieutenant S'kott had been curious about her. Even after several decades of use the E.M.H. protocols still faced some cynicism. She understood of course. A being of flesh and blood would always prefer the interaction and care of one of their own. She had hoped however, that her co-workers, at least, would not share this attitude. But it was what it was, and Galen would not let herself be offended. However, being programmed to emulate human emotions, Galen could not keep the disappointment off her face as she picked up a tricorder and scanned Frost's arm. "There is significant busing of the extensor capri ulnaris, but no fractures." she told the Doctor as she reached for a regenerator and began passing is over the injury. "It will be tender, but there is not lasting damage. When she was finished, Galen also looked at Frost's chin. A dark bruise was beginning to form where she had struck in on the bio-bed. "Let's take care of this too." A few seconds of treatment and the bruise disappeared. "There, good as new."
