1,185 words; about a 6 minute read

Mission: Revenge
Location: various
Timeline: Right after "Party Crashers (part 4)"

ON

Sam felt Damon's surprise and turned towards him in time to see him dematerialize. "Damon!" she cried out, but it was too late.

At that moment, Korok also disappeared.

Sam tapped her combadge. "York to bridge! Shields up! Intruder alert!"

Before she could get a reply, she, too, disappeared.

Munich was on the OPS console as he registered the residue of Transporter activity, the shields were up and only a small number of signatures were registered. He tried to run a trace but the fields were not cooperating very well, they were taken in small burst type transports that are covert in design and meant not to register on sensors.

"Damn it..." He cursed as he fought to trace the signal backwards to no avail, he did put up a static field through the Deflector and communications system to keep any other locks from happening.

It was effective but too late.

Vance stepped onto the bridge purposefully noting Samantha was not present yet. "Report! What the hell just happened?" She asked taking the centre chair.

Munich ran a scan to see if Maria were among those taken; it sparked an idea to have the computer run a scan of those missing, he might get a count by who is not registered by their comm badges.

"I am getting a list of comm signals not on the ship that should have been Sir." Munich explained. "Give me a moment to get confirmation."

Anastasia had been halfway through raising the shields, when Munich did it from Ops. She said nothing, but wasn't particularly happy with another department doing her job. She was busy trying to trace the offending transporter beam, while her console collected the names of her missing staff.

"I read twenty comm badges no longer on the Calyso..." Munich informed. "Seven Officers and thirteen Security Personnel." Munich continued. "The names are on your display sir."

As Alexandra's eyes looked down to the console they were immediately filled with dread as she read the name at the top of the list Commodore Samantha York. Once again she had failed in her duties and allowed complacency to facilitate the abduction of her Commanding Officer.

She continued to read down the list. Sergeant Amarylis Beckinsale

However this time, someone made a tragic error in judgement. They left Alexandra on the Calypso. There was no longer anyone looking over her shoulder, this was her mission to lead now and no rules would prevent her from rescuing York....and Amarylis.

=^=Attention all senior staff, there will be a meeting in the conference room in twenty minutes. Have full status reports on your department ready, Vance out.=^=

She immediately rose from her chair and entered Samantha's ready room. She would have Samantha's console set up to access the intelligence database. The absence of a Chief Intelligence Officer was proving advantageous to her, especially in this time.

-Holodeck-

Still on the holodeck, Cam felt Kara's presence disappear. This didn't sit right with him as he knew that even if Kara was blocking their bond, he should still be able to feel her. Quickly standing up, he hurried back to where the party had been, "What's going on? Was someone hurt?"

Andrews spun around, and noticed that several crew members had disappeared. She turned to Korok, and was shocked to see him gone as well. "Nooooooo.. Not Again!!" She screamed, then looked over the remaining crew to search for the highest ranking officer still in attendance. Without their uniforms, it was hard to tell. "Who's got top Command in here, right now?" She asked above the din.

"I suggest all senior staff still remaining should get to the bridge" Cam said, looking around "everyone else should report to their combat stations"

"Bridge or Science Department?" Andrews shouted to Cam; She was new to the ship, and wanted to be at the right place..

Maia and Gaia had returned from a wonderful horse ride when they heard Andrews yell. Gaia hurried out of the barn. "What, what's wrong?"

Andrews turned to Gaia. "*Several* key personnel have vanished..where, how..we don't know.." Andrews pointed to Cam.."This Officer wants all senior staff on the Bridge, now"

"Well then I suggest you go." Gaia replied

"I've got a name Lieutenant, try using it" Cam said gruffly, "and I only suggested a course of action"

Andrews Looked from Gaia to the Lieutenant. "My apologies, sir. I've only been on this ship for a short while; it takes some time to learn all the pertinent Officer's names."

Cam sighed, "well, I'll forgive you this time Starfleet. Now, we need to get out of here and find out what's going on"

"I agree with the Marine," Lizzie said. "Computer, end program."

"I'll be in the arboretum," she said to no one in particular.

Andrews hurried first to her quarters to check on her children, then on to the staff meeting. If she was at the wrong spot, she would head to the Bridge.

Gaia and Maia quietly followed Lizzie out the door and headed back to their home away from home. Bazinga's.

Eamon was now annoyed, he saw his friends disappear and without warning. The Inaran felt surprise from those several beings that vanished during their departure, it made him angry.

"Not again!" He announced and recalled that there was a senior staff meeting in twenty. Eamon would have to check in with his department and see who else was missing. He was aware that Marek was taken.

He headed down to the Engine room.

-Flight Bay-

Leroy was busy when the shields went up and didn't notice it. As he was preparing to take another squadron out to test their abilities when command tower called down that the shields had been raised. No one was going to be leaving soon. "What happened?" he called up to the tower, only to see the man shrug. "Pilots to your birds! Pilots to your birds!"

O'Brian had exited the Holodeck to go to her quarters to unwind, when she heard the commotion. She popped her head in and saw Andrews looking around for Korok. A twisted smile came to her face, then she hurried off to Engineering.

[Infirmary]

Dr. Frost stood before Mojo she has smiled as the man's vitals had improved to the medicines she had given him. Then he suddenly disappeared. She tapped her com-badge "Frost to the Bridge"

=^=What is it doctor?"=^=Alexandra replied having re-routed any incoming comms to the bridge to York's office.

"What happened, my patient disappeared."

=^="Unfortunately doctor I have no information to give you at this time. There is a staff meeting in fifteen minutes, be sure to note your missing patient on your report." =^=
