Andrews just smiled. "Lukk, you're here right now. That's what matters to me." Then she replied in a whisper,"But don't do it again, Mister. Ok?" She then grinned at him to let him know she was kidding, then looked around to make sure no one was watching(she hoped)and gave him a quick peck on his left cheek.

Korok nodded.
Kara Melo walked onto the holodeck not really sure if she should be there. As a Platoon Leader she was given an invitation, but without Cam she felt out of place. She really didn't like that feeling.
There was music playing and she turned to watch several couples dancing. Not what she wanted to see right now. So she went in the other direction and found herself standing by the food table. That wasn't what she wanted, either, so she headed outside to go for a brisk hike.
By now, Cam was already a few kilometres away from the party, although he could still hear the music faintly. Finding a nice but tree to sit under, he pulled off his pack, reached inside and pulled out three picture frames. One was of his unit during the War. 45 men and women crammed into one picture. The second was of him and his spotter a female human with long blond hair and sergeant chevrons on her collar. The background couldn't be seen that well as it was dark, but the two figures could be made out perfectly. In the image, Cam was piggybacking his spotter as if she'd just jumped ontop of him. They were both smiling and laughing.
The final picture was of his girlfriend, Kara. The picture showed her looking off into the distance while leaning on the wooden railing of a sailing ship. She was wearing her Marine Blues with her cover held in her hand.
Spreading the three pictures on the ground in front of him, Cameron sat back against the tree and closed his eyes.
Korok paused as he heard water splashing. The half klingon turned and headed into taller grass and found a tree and a quiet spot. He turned towards Roberta and gazed into her eyes for a long moment he opened his mouth and then shut it. His throat felt suddenly dry and his face turned a deep burgundy. So he tried to simply talk about some thing else for a moment. "The twins are concerned that they won't have parents to come home to..."
A look of concern came to Andrews' face. "I've talked with them about it, tried to explain what has happened..Are they still worried?"
Korok looked down at the ground by his feet, he appeared to be concentrating way too much. "I guess what I am trying to say is that, Olivia, Oliver and I talked and... I guess I agree that, um... Roberta you know I care about them, about you. Right?" He looked into her eyes again and studied her face.
Andrews looked directly into Korok's eyes.."Yes, Lukk, I do. You know I care about you, too?"
"I know." He reached up and touched her cheek lightly for a moment. He then picked up both her hands and knelt. "Roberta, will you be my mate for life."
Roberta Andrews actually felt a shock run through her body. She gulped. Then she placed her hands on Korok's shoulders and raised him up to eye level. She then spoke,"Yes, I will be your mate for life..and a long one I pray it will be. I accept your proposal." She grinned then spoke quietly to him. "I *believe* this is the part where you yell something like 'Woohoo!' and say 'She said yes!!'
"No, I think the appropriate response is this." Korok took her left hand and slid a ring on it. It was a big sapphire surrounded by diamonds. He looked up and grinned at her. "I hope I did all that correctly, seems as if I got something wrong."
Andrews looked at the ring, then at Korok, she began to cry.."No..Lukk..you got it all right..YES! I will marry you!" She shouted, as she hugged him. She felt her face turning a bright red as she looked around at the others in the holodeck..
Korok hugged her back a huge sigh of relief flooded him. He hadn't really been worried she would say no, but one never knew. Women seemed to be funny creatures, human's more so. Like right now she was crying, why cry if you were happy. Did that mean she was sad? It sounded as if she were extremely happy to him. He was so confused, again but happy too. The twins needed to be told but he knew he had their support.
Doctor Hart walked through the holodeck doors, put a grin on his face after seeing everybody was relaxing and having a good time. Jason head for the food table to grab a glass of wine. He noted that he was dressed casual for the occasion with a pair of jeans and a light blue T-shirt. He hasn't met the new doctor yet, so he hadn't a clue what she looked like as he glanced around the holodeck environment. Lately, he has been thinking of stepping down as the Assistant Chief Medical Officer as too much work is taking a toll on him. He figured this party will help him relax and get away from work for awhile.
Damon walked up to the doctor holding a pair of beers. "Doc," He said with mock severity "I have a serious issue. I have two beers but only one mouth. I'm not sure what to do with this other one." He smiled and held the beer out to the man. "The wine can wait."
