Mission: Revenge
Location: Holodeck

ON

Reports had been filed, warning beacons set up and new crew brought aboard. Now, while they were on their way out to explore a recently-formed nebula, Sam wanted to have a party for her senior staff.

The holodeck was set up to resemble a large ranch house. The main floor had been sectioned into three groupings. One had several long tables laden with food, another was set up for dancing and the third held several conversation areas. Nearby was a stable for anyone who wanted to go horseback riding. Beyond that were forested hills for those who preferred walking.

Sam herself was dressed in a pair of jeans, hiking boots and a colorful blouse.

Cam had heard about the party, and it's setting, and figured a long brisk walk alone would do him a world of good. Normally he would have asked Kara to come with him, but there were a few things he needed to work through in his head. Walking into the holodeck, Cam was dressed in an old set of BDU's he'd kept around for recreational hikeing and climbing. He was also carrying a large khaki green backpack filled with bottles of water, rope, pullies, carabiners and basic first aid supplies.

Andrews smiled upon receiving the invitation to the 'shindig,' and was looking forward to it. She had mentioned it to Korok, and even though he had frowned(or at least, she *thought* it was a frown,) he said he would "..Be proud to escort you to this party.." She was waiting in the cabin she shared with her two children, Olivia and Oliver, for his arrival from his place of work on the ship. In the meantime, she had let the 'replicator' fashion an outfit for her for the occasion. She *liked* the outfit, but realized the replicator would have to be 're-tuned' for her size. The jeans fit well, though a tad snug. Her blue(she loved blue) blouse was a bit tight though. "Mama told me never to try and put 20 pounds of mud into a 10 pound sack..." She shook her head at her reflection. "Well," She thought again," At least everyone will know which way I am going." She wondered where Korok was, and punched a button on the computer console. "Computer, *where* is the location of Korok Lukk?"

The computer responded with [Korok Lukk is currently located in the Gym]

==XO's Quarters==

Alexandra had chosen to remain in her quarters. She had nothing to celebrate and parties were never something she participated in, not willingly of course. If anything good came of the experience it was the clarity afforded to her mind by the absence of the memories. She wished to return to that state and a session with her guitar was just the prescription.

[HOLODECK]

Gaia arrived to the holodeck dressed in well worn denim jeans, a button down shirt with small blue flowers on it, tucked in very neatly at her slender waist and a soft well worn denim jacket over it. A pair of boots adorned her feet. Her long blonde hair was in a thick braid and hung down the middle of her back. She waited patiently for her sister so that they could go ride together. The owner of Bazinga's walked over to the Captain and did the unthinkable, she hugged the woman. As she released her she smiled warmly. "It looks good."

Sam hugged her back. "I know I should have gone to you for this, but I wanted you to have a chance to relax for once."

Gaia smiled "We all assisted in an event like this. Half of the desserts I made, Korok did the fruit ans Maia half of the hot platters. But yes, it is nice to be relieved of duties like that. But, Sam between you and me I would have preferred to serve."

"Next time, I'll let you do all the work," Sam promised.

Maia arrived soon afterwards and stepped beside her twin, the main difference between the two was that Maia's hair tended to be a tad darker in color, but she often colored it to matched her sisters just for the sake of confusion. Her clothing nearly matched Gaia's except she chose a solid colored shirt versus a light pattern.

Sam turned to Maia, "Hello, I'm Sam York."

"I am Maia, Sam and I sincerely hope you won't mind having the both of us on board for a while. I fear my sister may need the assistance and support after the loss of her staff." Maia smiled warmly at this Captain that was so willing to accept her and her sister.

"Not at all," Sam assured her. "We lost a lot of people on the planet. We're still not fully staffed, so I welcome all the help I can get. I'm sure your sister does as well."

Lieutenant Andrews entered the holodeck and looked around at the various people. She half smiled and made her way to the refreshment table, hoping that someone might jump in and break the ice.

Elizabeth Jackson was at the table, looking over the variety of goodies. She looked up when Roberta arrived. "Hi," she said cheerfully. "I'm Lizzie."

Andrews smiled and reached out her right hand. "Hi Lizzie, pleased to meet you. Name's Roberta.'

"HI, Roberta," Lizzie said, shaking her hand. "Nice to meet you."

Andrews smiled at Lizzie and asked,"So, what Department are you with? "

"Science, technically. I'm a botanist. I run the arboretum," Lizzie said.

Andrews grinned and replied"That's good to know. I'm the new head of the Science Department, for the time being."

"Great! You need to come by the arboretum and have a look around," Lizzie said, returning Roberta's grin. "Maybe have some chocolate chip cookies ice cream."

Eamon walked in wearing a brown singlet and grey shorts, he couldn't quite get the replicator to make the natural mineral colours that are found on his homeworld. He did his best to get as close as possible and just went with the results.

He wondered what the plan was in the holodeck and hoped he would be able to enjoy it.

Dr. Frost had stopped by the infirmary and checked on her one very ill patient and then headed to the party. She paused in the doorway not because she didn't want to enter but rather because she did not who would be the most fun at the party. She flashed a smile at everyone she saw and headed to the refreshment table where two ladies stood. "Hello" she said and poured herself something to drink, it appeared to be a fruit blend of some sort. It was cool and refreshing as she took a sip. "So, does the Commodore hold these things often?"

Andrews looked first at Lizzie then back to the Doctor. "I'm not really sure, I've just recently transferred here." Andrews looked around at the mingling crew. "It does appear to be an nice 'ice breaker.' "
