[CONTINUED]

Hearing the sound of people talking nearby, Cameron gradually opened his eyes, letting his eyes adjust to the light levels. As his eyes adjusted, he began to make out the shapes of buildings, windows and eventually the people around him, most of which were still laying on the ground. As feeling slowly returned to his limbs, he felt something warm laying under his arm, pressed up against his body.

Glancing down, Cameron found a dark haired woman laying before him. Who was this person? Did he know her? Did she know him? More to the point, who was he. Trying to think of the answers to his questions, he felt something rubbing against his wrist. Lifting his arm up so he could see what it was, he found a wound hemp band with a small metallic plate bearing the word, or rather the name, Cameron. Was this him?

Putting his arm back down, Cameron's hand brushed through the Woman's hair. As it did, he felt a strange sensation, as if he'd done that before. Unsure if the feeling was real, he brought his hand up and brushed the woman's hair again, and again the same comforting feeling seemed to wash over him. Who was this woman? Remembering the band around his wrist, Cameron looked down to the woman's hands and found a similar band sitting on her wrist. Squinting a little, Cameron managed to make out the lettering, 'KARA'

So that was her name, Kara. Swallowing some nervous feelings, Cameron put a hand on Kara's shoulder and gave it a gentle shake, "um, hello?"

Kara slowly opened her eyes and smiled at the person above her. "Hi." She liked his eyes and spent several moments looking at them. They seemed familiar, but she couldn't remember from where. "Who are you?"

"Well, I'm...um" Cameron said, trying to remember. Glancing down at his wrist, a connection formed in his mind, "Cameron, my name is Cameron. I think. And your name is Kara if these wristbands are to be believed. I know this is a strange question, but do you recognise me?"

Kara tried to remember him, or anything, but there was nothing but an empty space in her brain where she thought her memories belonged. "I'm afraid not."

Cameron sighed, "oh well, it was worth a try" he said, getting ready to stand, as he did, he smelt a sent coming from Kara's hair, a sent that he recognised. It was a slight fruity smell mixed with the dents of earth and dust from around them. Curious, Cameron lent down further and sniffed again, the same sent, "I know this smell. It seems familiar" he said, turning back to Kara, "I must know you. I feel there's a connection between us" be said, running a hand through Kara's hair, "but I don't remember what it is"

Yes, she felt it, too. There was a familiarity about his touch, a connection of some sort. "I know you, too. But I don't remember." She groaned in frustration and looked into Cam's eyes again, hoping to find something there that would help her remember.

Hearing this, an idea suddenly struck him. Leaning back down, Cameron kissed Kara square on the lips, hoping it might stir something, but other than strengthening the feeling that they were connected, nothing else came to him

Kara put a hand on his cheek and kissed him back. When the kiss ended she looked in his eyes again. The kiss was very, very nice, but she didn't remember anything more. "Well, the memory doesn't come back with a kiss, but feel free to do that any time you like."

Cameron smiled, "I'm happy to oblige, but maybe we should get up and see who else is around, maybe they have more of an idea where we are"

Kara nodded. "Yes. We need to see what's going on with the others. Maybe someone out there knows what's going on?"

Gaia blinked and blinked again, a soft smile hit her lips as she stretched. Her mind searched. What she searched for she was not quite sure it seemed as half of her was missing and yet it wasn't. It felt normal, but she knew there was more to her then just her. She shrugged her slender shoulders slightly. Her wrist itched and she glanced down a small frown appeared between her eyebrows as she tugged at the bracelet that encircled her wrist. She felt that it shouldn't be there. that it would get in the way of whatever it was that she would normally do. She saw a name it was short and simple. Gaia that seemed right she thought. Gaia wondered if she could remove it and decided not to. She looked around she saw others asleep or waking. She reached up and braided her hair she tied it off with a small green vine that she knew would stay green for a while. She then tucked it up and stuck a stick in it to hold it in place. She put her hands down in front of her in such a fashion that said she was used to something around her waist that would hold things. "Hmmm"

Hans stood near the edge of the impound staring at the jungle beyond; it did not seem to scarte him as he presumed it should. He looked upon it and there were fond emotions; he wondered where they had come from? It is strange that he could not remember much; the tag on his wrist said 'Hans' in a language he understood so with those two factors he accepted his name; for reference only right now, is Hans.

"Now why are you so alluring?" 'Hans' asked himself. "Did I come from the Jungle; or have I been here so long that I remember ..." He felt flashes of emotions, child like glee while he listened to the sounds of the jungle. "This looks familiar, strangely familiar... Almost un real yet it's too soon to tell yet..." HE sang quietly to himself as he seemed mesmerized by the scene. "I'm going to go back there some day..."

Gaia started to walk around she spied something that looked whitish in color next to a bunch old pieces of wood that had been stacked up in a pile. She picked one up and turned it over sniffed it peered at the gills, she wondered how she knew that they were gills but shrugged at the knowledge and took that one with her. She picked up another that was shaped slightly different and it had a wonderful aroma Gaia smiled and took that one too. Another she did not touch. She wandered a bit and gathered more, well enough to carry. Gaia walked around and stepped into a dilapidated building. It appeared to have some sort of cleaning facility and a place to cook. She knew this, and she was content to be here. Gaia started to hum softly to herself as she searched for something to place her mushroom's into. Finally she found a very rough hewn bowl of sorts and placed her mushrooms in and she also found a few utensils.
