Cassandra, and Jil were helping Stran move, as fast as they could, while Daniels, and Robert followed, quickly, away from the fights breaking out, throughout the sector. Tramira was both helping, and hard to keep track of. That was par for the course, with her.
"Where'd the others go?" Stran asked, having spoken for the first time, since the mind-meld.
"If they are wise," Jil said, with her thick Cardassian accent, "Away."
"But... Mister Wolfe, and Ms. Lancaster-" Stran began.
"Silence, you mud-blooded Romulan." The Cardassian said harshly. "Do you want to get us all kill-"
Cassandra dug her finger-nails into the Cardassian's arm. "You will not speak about him in such a manner."
"Now is not the time for quarrel, now, snap out of it, the lot of you." Robert said, with a scowl.
Clap. Clap. Clap. The voice drew the group up short.
"Ah, yes." A rather disturbed-looking Klingon said, with a frown. "Chuk Norris, and Tramira Kyt. Who, pray tell, are the others?"
"Bruce Lee, Korr'haa, daughter of Koch, Stran of Vulcan, and Jilillah, of Cardassia." Daniels said, brandishing the hand-pistol Tramira had liberated. "Who would be first?" Daniels demanded.
Tyler eyed the weapon, and Daniels. "This place really does bring out the worst parts of your personality, you know that?"
"Shut it." Daniels, Cassandra, and Jilillah said, at the same time. "We're passing." Daniels said. "Either through you, or you can stand aside. I don't care which."
Cassandra, and Jil let go of Stran, and he balanced, on one leg, in a defensive posture.
"Enough." Said a second klingon. "She" pointing at Cassandra "and he" pointing at Daniels "have thinned our numbers sufficiently to make us less of a threat to other groups controlling others, already. The other men, while injured, or appearing weak, are likely good fighters, as well. If we attack them, they'll only kill us all. Not to mention, Chuk is wielding a gun. Let them pass."
"Absolutely no-" The first Klingon started to say.
Right before Daniels shot him.
"No second chances."
Daniels said. "Any others?"
The path parted. Several of the Klingons inclined their head, in respect. Others turned away, slightly ashamed.
"You know," Cassandra said. "I could really get used to this infamy thing."
The group passed, and the Klingons, noting the larger riot, elsewhere, decided to head towards the fight.
Ronnie caught up to the group. "We're bugging out. We need you back at camp."
"Oi." Daniels said. "That's where all the trouble is brewing. Why can't you bring camp here?"
"Because we're leaving," Ronnie said simply. "We're using the riots as cover to get out. So, you come with us now, or you stay behind. Scratch that, you're not getting a choice. Come now." She looked at the women. "If he resists, hit him. You're coming, too. We're all getting out of here. Now."
Jil raised a hand, and smacked him over the back of the head.
"Hey! She said if!" Daniels said.
"And you would have. I'm just saving time. Let's go." Jil said.
"Who made you the leader?" Cassandra demanded.
"Don't know, don't care." Jil said, with a shrug. "I'm going. He's coming, the little one is coming, and if I've got the rest of you pegged down right, you'll follow him, so let's stop arguing, and go."
"Logical." Stran said, nodding.
Cassandra winced. "You're supposed to be on my side, hun."
"Not when you are being illogical." Stran countered.
"So we're going, then?" Robert asked.
"Yes." Daniels said, rubbing the back of his head.
"I like her, she makes sense," Ronnie said, indicating Jil. "Damion is getting weapons for us. Come on."
"So do I. For different reasons." Daniels said.
Robert muttered something under his breath.
"What was that?" Daniels said.
"Nothing." Robert said, with an innocent look on his face.
Ronnie said nothing. As long as they followed her back to Damion, she didn't care.
The Marines joined them just as they got back to the camp with Damion.
Kara looked around at Damion and Ronnie. "I was told Captain York was here."
Ronnie looked at Damion, then back to Kara. "She made contact with Commander Raine and has gone to meet him."
Kara nodded. "I looked for him, but have yet to find where he is. Will they be meeting us here?"
"Thats the plan, Staff Sergeant." Damion said as he held the phaser rifle and looked over to her. "I want you to gather as much Marines and prisoners willing to fight with us to get out of here. We're gonna make our way out and to the surface, keeping together and protecting the weaker ones. Keep each other safe and watch each others backs. Got me! No Heroes."
Kara pulled out the weapon Cam gave her earlier. "We brought everyone we could find. Marines don't leave people behind." She glanced at the others with her. "Do you want us to follow Captain York and give her a hand?" She wasn't so sure the Fleetie could get to the Commander by herself.
"I know the terrain, I could take a small team down and extract both officers" Cameron said, stepping forward, "all I need is two or three marines and a weapon for each"
"I'll go, if you want," Kara volunteered.
"No one goes after York. Do you understand me?" Damion said loudly as he looked around. the ground. "Captain York knows exactly what she is doing. Too many people with her will bring too much danger. Its a covert op, guys. Can't be covert with a marching band in front of you. Hear me? No one goes for York. We stick to the plan, regardless of what happens from here on in."
Apu slipped into the back of the group. He carried a large bag on his back. "I think we should leave now," he said. "Things are about to get very, very bad."
Tramira tugged on Daniels' sleeve, and whispered something.
"Yeah. That's basically what a riot is, little one. Something very, very bad." Daniels said. "Don't you dare leave my side. You either." He added, glancing at Jil.
"Of course. Someone has to keep you in line." Jil said. "And she's too busy with the Vulcan and the mopey guy who tried to commit suicide."
"HEY!" Robert yelled.
"Truth hurts, shut up, and get over it." Cassandra said. "I hope your wife isn't being this emotional about you being misplaced. I don't envy those around her, if that's the case."
"HEY!" Robert yelled, this time at Cassandra.
She smacked him upside the back of the head.
"Right, boss." Robert said, after he rubbed the back of his head. "No time for bickering."
"I'm ready to get out of here," Doctor Bowen said. She has followed them being silent and tried to treat the injured the best she can without the proper medical equipment.
Ronnie glanced at Damion and smiled. "So am I." Now that Damion was himself again. "I just hope whatever this signal is will help us get through the guard tower."
"Alright! Lets go!" Damion yeld at everyone, giving the orders and holding up his rifle. He looked around and made his way to the Sector exit. Keeping Ronnie at his back and a smile on is face. Sure he was back, but without having his medication, he was dangerous. Not only to his enemies, but to his friends.
