Mission: The Race for the Lost Treasure

Word came from the bridge that the Calypso was about to drop out of warp. Sam walked out of her ready room and took her seat on the bridge. "All stations, report."

Serena took the ship out of warp and orbited the there destination of choice. "Sir were obiting Tangor," she replied to the Captain and putting Tangor on the view screen as well for everyone to see.

"Tactical Scans show little in the way of unusual ionized gasses, surrounding this planet." Levue said, doing something of a dance, with Ensign Daniels, pressing various buttons on the main terminal, and the one behind them.

"No sign of metallic masses in orbit. Likely uninhabited." Daniels added. "Or pre-industrial."

"And... little in the way of power usage. So either they've masked themselves very cleverly, or we've come across an uninhabited planet." Levue said, watching the scanners roll past.

Daniels tapped a few buttons, and Levue shook her head. "No, Daniels. Keep an eye for incoming vessels. We discussed this. Leave the life signs, and fancy scanners for Science. We're here to defend the ship, not do everyone else's job." Levue said, softly to him.

"Right, ma'am." He said, returning his attention to the rather dull task of ionized gas tracing.

"It's an M class planet - very similar to Earth in shape and size. Approximately 70% of the planet is covered in water. Minimal life signs detected. They appear to be various animals living on the planet." Tovan called out from his console. He pressed various buttons on his console and read the results. "The scanners have detected a structure on the surface and traces of a civilization living on this planet at one point a few kilometers away from this structure. Detailed scan of the surface will take approximately two hours."

Noelle had made her way to the Bridge, ready for whatever headed for them. She listened from a spot in the back of the Bridge to the reports of what the planet contained or didn't contain as the case may be.

=A=Engineering report all go Bridge.=A= Marek announced as Jourdan was busy with something.

"Any sign of recent activity on the planet?" Sam asked. "Or in the sector? I'd like to send down a team, but I want to be sure we don't have any unwanted visitors."

"Negative - there doesn't seem to be any activity on the planet nor the system Captain." Tovan responded.

"Excellent. Inform the away teams to meet in the shuttle bay in 20 minutes. Tovan, you have the bridge." She turned to Damon. "All set?" she asked as she stood. "Let's see what's down there."

"Understood, ma'am!" Tovan said as he got up from his station and headed for the big chair.

Noelle waited for the Captain to leave the Bridge and stepped next to her "Ma'am. I'd like to be on your away team." She said firmly but quietly.

"And, Ensigns Daniels, and Stran." Levue said from the Tactical Console.

Daniels looked up, at Levue. "Ma'am?" Daniels asked.

"Go, Ensign." Levue stated.

"Uh, ma'am, normally when the Captain goes d-" Daniels noted.

"Ensign Daniels, I trust your, and Ensign Stran's ability to watch the Captain. I see no reason why I should not send you with her. Ensigns Tyler will be going down with the other two teams. I have far too much paperwork to consider away team assignment. You are dismissed, Ensign." Levue said, staring him down.

"Uh... Yes ma'am." Daniels said, with a nod.



Captain York heard Lieutenant Wolfe's voice coming through her combadge. "Wolfe to Captain York. I would like to speak with you, Ma'am. In private, Captain."

"In my ready room, Lieutenant," Sam said. She looked at Tovan. "The bridge is yours."

"Roger that." Tovan responded.
