Sam spotted Leanne and walked over to her table. "Glad you could make it to the party," she said.
"Yes," she smiled as she looked up at her. "I look forward to the celebration. It is set up nicely here as well as providing champagne," she said as she held up her glass. "Little for the occasion. I assume that almost everybody here...," Leanne said, looking around her.
"Everyone here?" Sam asked.
"I assume that everybody is here," she said, looking around the room again.
Serena sat back and watched her little niece dance around and around on the dance floor. She place a smile on her face, thinking how beautiful Meggan really was. Threw all he thought Serena heard someone say something to her. She turned her head to see that it was Daniels. "Long time no see," she smiled to him.
Daniels, in his hawaii-five-oh style hawaiian shirt, and khaki shorts, nodded to Serena. "Looks like you've got quite the handful there. Quite adorable, actually."
Serena smiled and stated, "She's my niece. Her name is Meggan. And aren't they all handfuls?" She left a small smerk on her face, when she looked at his cloths.
"Nah. My sister, Danielle, was a perfect angel." Daniels said, chuckling. "Until she hit her teens. I was the other way around."
Serena smiled at Daniels statment. She had remembered how crazy her older sister was in her teens and herself as well. "But in time it passes," she replied. She looked at Daniels, "Do you want to dance? Since after all were on a dance floor?"
"Of course." Daniels said, with a smile. "That's the whole reason I came."
"Great," she stated as she wrapped her arm around his neck; placed one of his hand on her small part on her back and his other into her free hand. Then she started to sway to the music
Daniels closed his eyes, and pulled her slightly closer. The scent of her hair caused his mind to drift elsewhere. He smiled.
Serena looked up at Daniels with slight confusment. He seemed to be enjoying himself more then what she was. She looked away rolling her eyes putting a small grin on her face. In second, Daniels spun her around and then brought her closer to him again. Serena hid her smile after he did this. "So did you miss me," she asked him.
"I thought that was obvious." He said, with a chuckle, and spun her again.
Serena didn't know how to make of such an acusation. She just enjoyed her dance that she was doing, "How have you been," she asked in a middle of her spin.
"The Boss lady is taking anger management classes." Daniels said, with a chuckle, as he spun her back, closer. "And she's stopped beating the snot out of us in combat training. Life is good for Ensign Daniels."
Serena looked at him confused, "Why would she beat you?" She was slighlty worried about is head officer. Was she abusive person to her officers?
"It's called combat training, Serena." Daniels said with a chuckle. "Some of us take it a lot more seriously, and violent, than others."
"Apperently," she smiled from embarressment, "I forgot that your in the security department."

Erin sat back for a second, taking a sip of her wine before spotting Leo in the crowd and heading over to him.
''Haven't seen you since the mission. Glad to be back in civillisation again?'' She asked with a grin.
Leo shook his head. "Not really, I've been sick ever since. Back on my feet now. And if someone had professed a want to see me again, I would have made an attempt."
Erin smiled apologetically. ''Sorry, its been a whirlwind around here since we got back. New crew members for assessment and evaluations to catch up on.''

Tav entered the lounge, later than everyone else. He'd taken it upon himself to personally repair the blown communication array, and then convince Janet that she had to come to the celebrations - that had been a task in itself.
He entered, wearing jeans, flip-flop sandals and a t-shirt; his style never changed much. Janet walked in beside him, taller and leaner than he was, she was a long cream-coloured summer dress, but still maintained her hair short and formal-looking. She didn't want to give the impression she was enjoying a party, afterall.
