[Bridge]

Samantha sat in her chair on the bridge with a sigh. It had been a long few days and she was looking forward to getting back to Federation space. "Take her out, Ensign."

[Ten Forward]

Chi was very happy to be out of the sickbay and be back on duty she sat in the ten forward playing the piano all day enjoying every minute off it

Leo walked into Ten Forward and heard the song playing. Shrugging, he looked around then smiled. "Corporal, good to see your alive and out of the hospice." Grabbing a waiting drink from the bar, he walked over and set it on top of the instrument. "And no matter what, if anything comes of the charges against you and Corporal Guntold, myself and the Major are going to back both of you with everything we have." Smiling, he downed the six ounce drink and smiled, then stepped away. He had a conference call with some Brigadier that he was hoping he could skip. "If anything comes around, let me know asap."

"Will do but for now will you stay here and drink with me." Chi said making it sound as though she was singing.

Leo turned and shook his head smiling. "Can't for two reasons Corporal. I've got top brass throwing crap down my chimney and I have a rule about drinking with the Enlisted. It looks bad." Nodding his head to her, Leo turned and walked from Ten Forward. He was going to be late for the call, but that didn't bother him in the least. His men came first.

[Leo's Quarters]

"You know Lieutenant, I don't enjoy being stone walled like this. You left me waiting for thirteen minutes." Leo looked at the screen and chuckled. "And I don't like your tone either."

"Well Sir, I haven't said anything, so how can you like my tone?" Leroy sat down at his chair and grabbed a padd. It had the surgery notes of Corporal Shintaku, and what he knew about the fight on the planet below. "I'm busy General, I have two Marines to deal with, one just got out of surgery. The other? She's in the brig for something I feel was beyond her control. I don't have the details of what happened, you may want to contact Major Raine for those."

"I think I will Lieutenant. Watch yourself, I can take away that rank just as quickly as I gave it to you." As the screen went blank, Leo shook his head. He hated threats, and couldn't see where anything was going right. Tapping the padd, he sent the details that he had been sent to the Major, along with the notice that he should expect a call from a very angry Klingon Brigadier General.

[Medical Bay]
In the councellors offices, Erin looked up at the feel of the ships movement. She sighed and settled back in her chair, clutching a cup of hot coffee. It felt good to be back to the normal grind of things instead of the normal gut-clenching worry that a councellor usually endured whenever their charges were off on missions. It made her feel like a clucknig mother hen at times. She mused, smiling.

[Bridge]

The Calypso broke orbit and began to move away from Turkana IV. "Steady as she goes, helmsman."

Suddenly four ships changed course and headed for the Calypso. "Shields up. Red alert," Sam said. "It's probably fruitless, but hail the ships."

"No response to the hails."

"That's what I figured. Battlestations," Sam said briskly. "Lock on phasers but wait for my signal."

As soon as Chi heard the red alert she went running to her room from the ten forward when she got there she readied her TR-116A then stood by to see what was going to happen.

Leroy looked up and cussed. -^-Marines to battle stations, arm up and await orders-^- Getting up himself, he strapped a knife to himself and made his way to the Armory. It wasn't going to be fun if someone figured out how to board the Calypso, and he'd make sure that they weren't going to make it home.

Nava heard the red alert and headed for the Bridge and took a spot near the back wall to watch the proceedings. She had hoped they would avoid an armed conflict, that did not appear to be in the works now.

One of the ships fired on the Calypso. The ship shook, but the shields held.

"Status," Sam asked.

"Shields at Maximum. All weapons hot. Torpedoes set to normal yields. It would take approximately 30 seconds to reset the torpedo launchers to maximum damage harmonization." Kyt stated. "All phaser arrays at 100 percent, normal yields. Approximately 20 seconds needed for maximum damage harmonization resets, or 10 seconds, if you don't mind burning out all the relays after about 7 shots."

A message came across Sam's console from the fighter wing. "Weak points are the Engineering hull and Nacelle struts."

She replied, "We'll take the hull, you take the struts."

"Target the Engineering hull. Shoot to disable."

"It's showtime." Kyt said with a nod. Her hands played across the controls. "Let's minimize possibility for collateral damage to the fighters. Phaser arrays at full. Attack Pattern Alpha Omega Four, taking in to account for friendly craft. Helm, transferring notes on strategy."
