Mission: Peace, or Something Like It
Location: Outside the Civilian Complex, Turkana IV
Timeline: Current

[OLD]

Chichire had just cleared the north and north-west side security personal and then started to scanned the buildings nearest to her. "From my location, there's some sort of assembly line in the building at my 9:00. 12;00 is some sort of office building. 2:00 is a building I can't see through. It's heavily shielded. It has a wall around it. 3:00 is some sort of warehouse. The others are too far away."

Jaxara held his phaser close to him, and nodded to Delon. "In the words of the Klingons, today is a good day to die."

Kyt shook her head. "Do not tempt the prophets. Ready, Lieutenant Tovan."

Jennifer looked at the fleeters and shook her head. "It's not always a good idea to use someone else's battle cry Lieutenant, take it from experience." Without another word, she began reassembling her rifle, and re-affixing the scope. There was little time before they would start charging down to the door like a band of Mongols, and she wanted to be ready to take down any opposition they had before they could get injured. "And remember, if anyone gets hurt, our men will run down there, and drag them back here to be triaged, before being beamed back to the Caly."

MARINE TEAM

It had been almost ten minutes since the security team entered the building. The marines had the complex surrounded and waited for the team to return back. It was then that in the distance that they could hear some voices. With each passing second those voices were getting closer and louder.

Jennifer picked her head up and looked over. "Oh no," she muttered and readied her weapon. "Corporal, four o'clock, about sixty meters." Shuffling to get a better shot, she gritted her teeth, wishing it hadn't come to this.

"Roger Jennifer are they hostel or not you will have to give me a sec to scan and target current threat". Chi scanned and there were about 10 enemy merc's appearing on there six and it looked like even more were coming out the wood works. "CPL Guntold you have ten plus enemy merc converging on you location form your six prepare to defend your self. You are allowed to kill enemy threats but stun civilians and under no circumstance are you to kill civilian targets." as she Chi lined up her targets she started to fire before they could a chance to get drop on the marines and gave the order weapons free to the marines' She thought to here self it going to get bloody really quick.

-^-Jaxara this is sniper one were have a enemy merc patrol we are engaged with so you do not have sniper support so pleas hurry up in side I'm afraid your time is running out so PLEAS hurry up in there!!-^-

Jennifer cursed out loud, stripping her rifle of any and all Sniper attachments. It converted back to a fast firing Gauss rifle, with a fifty round drum. Looking like an old Thompson sub machine gun, she went from her low lying position, to a kneeling position, Jennifer opened fire. There was no mistaking the sound of the weapon, or the amount of damage that could have been done, if the weapon were at all accurate. Dropping the drum, she looked at the one magazine she had left, which held the last seven rounds for her long range rifle. "Corporal! Watch your Three!" she called, spinning her aim, and her body, to fire over the other Marines body, dropping three Mercenaries that had come from no where.

Leaving her with nothing but a phaser, a combat knife, and her good looks, Jennifer grabbed the hand held Type Two Phaser from her waist. Hitting the power control, he placed it on its kill setting, and aimed. Pressing the trigger, the phase energy lanced out, catching enemy after enemy. In her off hand, she held the combat knife against her fore arm. This would later save her life as they turned from charging the sniper position, and grouping of Marines, to charging Jennifer. Not taken aback, Jennifer sheathed the knife, picked up the weapon, and flipped it around to where the barrel was pointing at her. Smiling, Jennifer stood, then swung on the first man that came close enough, taking him across the face, and dropping him to the ground.

When the Marines opened fire on the group they were not aware that the group wasn't at full strength. The group had split up into two and there were another five bringing up the rear at least 300 meters back. So when the shooting started the Commander of the group took cover and contacted others.

He quickly informed of the attack on the first group and told them to head through the forest. After that he also contacted the base itself. It was in matter of seconds that an alarm started to sound through the building in which the security team was in.

Just caching a glimpse of the second squad about to flank the marine chi jumped up and at a dead sprint towards the enemy unit she was about 500meters away from the marines as she ran adrenaline pumping. She readied her SIS .45 in here left and a combat knife in here right at the same time loaded a magazine it only took here about a minute and a half to get to them she noticed just when she was about to get there the marines were almost done with the first group

The remaining patrol men took cover and started to shoot back at the attackers.

Reaching down, Jennifer grabbed the weapon from the fallen soldier, and swung the Thompson looking weapon down one handed ont he crown of the man's head, a sickening crack resounding. Now she was armed with what looked like out dated weaponry, but it would work in a pinch. Grasping it in her other hand, the smile on her face became sadistic, and she opened fire once again. A ragged cheer went up from the Mercenaries, thinking that their man had taken out the Marine, only to be cut down, one after another.

Setting the weapon against her shoulder, Jennifer aimed again, fired and looked back at Chichire. She was handeling her own, allowing Jennifer a moment to breath. They had to be regrouping, and they had to be working to find a way to over take at least her position. She had betrayed the first rule of being a sharp shooter. "Never reveal your position," Jennifer said to herself, sinking back down to a knee.

Chi with out stopping looked like a blur when she hit here first target with her combat knife that stuck right in the first soldier left temple dropping him on the spot she stopped and then with out pause she raised her pistol and emptied her full magazine into the three targets chest and head the last one left standing managed to grab here from behind and stabbed her in back just left of her spinal cord in the mid of her back she failed to throw him off the first time but she over powered him by garbing his. She spun around with such force that her right hand she was going to claw him she ended up killing him. The man had just crumbled to the forest floor with a thud he was dead and there was no saving him

Chi was beyond mad at seeing the bodies off here entire team laying on the ground made here want to kill Guntold for not stunning the soldiers and killing them instead which lead to the death of her team she looked at Guntold with a smile. That hide her rage that she had for Guntold now. Not only did she force my hand to have to kill people but it also lead to the demise of here team "Guntold are you ok". Chi asked sounding like nothing happened as she turned back around and picked up one of the phaser's that was laying on the ground put it on the highest stun setting turning quickly Chi shot Guntold in the midsection making sure Guntold was incapacitated.

Chi started heading back to sniper position as she called the the bridge of the calypso telling them to transport all the dead marines to the ship and lance corporal to the brig for disobeying a direct order which lead to the death of four marine soldiers after that was done. She had finely reached her old sniping spot she had just started to feel the massive pain coming from the wound in here back she thought to herself this is going to make shooting extremely hard . Chi laying back down almost made her cry in pain. With out a break from just happened she started to scan the compound and give sniper support to the security team inside.

The rest of the Marines, having watched Jennifer disappear shook their heads, but continued the way ward fight. They would have something to say to the Corporal once they got home, if they got home. As one, they stood and started hunting down the remainder of the mercenaries, and taking no prisoners. They didn't care who was going to get hurt on the other side. Once they had cleared the position behind Corporal Chichire, they regained their original positions. "Our six is clear Corporal, and there's no word of any more Mercs showing up. We need to leave and soon any how. We've spent too much time down here."

" All right marines we are moving no need to stay here so the enemy know where we are. Once we find a spot I want to know Who's left and current ammo count your going to be watching from my 3-9 o'clock so no one get the jump on us again. Also be ready to shift when the security team come's out so we can give them covering fire now move out." Chi said with a firm tone to make sure no one could find any weakness in her voice or plan....

Several of the marines looked at her, said nothing and began picking up the gear. They could all hear the weakness, the Corporal didn't hide it very well. "Corporal," one private said as he picked up his gear and began to walk past the woman. "lets hope that nothing happens to you."

"I'm sorry about what I did to Guntold but if I did not more would have died but I did what I had to do I and I will make this promise this to you. I WILL get the rest of you home and I will be the last one to leave. Just do what I say and you will not have any thing to fear now move out."

Jennifer awoke as the transporter dropped her into a brig bed. She looked around and was confused. "Where am I?"
