The Civilian Complex, Part I

Mission:
Peace, or Something Like It

Once the teams were on the ground they quickly took cover. This terrain was extremely unfamiliar to them. They could not afford to be caught off guard at this point in the game. Tovan looked over to Corporal Shintaku and Guntold. "You know what to do. Eliminate the guards outside. I don't care how you do it but I don't want them knowing we are here."
Chi did not wait to give orders out she would leave that to the Lt's. She went off in a dead sprint to the north north-west corner
Once she got there she kneeled down and she assembled here weapon swiftly. Guntold should be almost set up. She laid down got some camouflage then set here sight on the compound "man this heavily fortified" just giving a coy smile
"Lieutenant Jaxara, his team and I will watch your six."
Jennifer nodded and picked up her gear, and un-slung her weapon of choice. "I'll be on the south south-west side." Without waiting for orders, or even asking for someone to ok her decision, she took off at a soft run, kicking up little in the way of dirt, the base that she would soon be firing upon barely visible to the bare eye. Slowing, then stopping once she figured that she would gain a good vantage of what she needed to look at, Jennifer placed a small ear piece in her ear, the other connected directly to Corporeal Shintaku.
-^- Sniper Two primary targets first are the tower's and the gate then any heavy personnel if you see armored vehicles let me know so I can take it out over. -^-..........
-^-Go for Sniper Two, South and South West corners visible.-^- Lying down, Jennifer didn't bother with any of the camouflage that she had been taught to use, the combat uniform that she wore did the work for her. -^-Ready to commence firing on your orders-^- Lying the weapon before her, Jennifer turned the calibrated scope on, and began the arduous task of dialing it in. Wind speed, terrain, even humidity would affect her every shot, something that could either make her life easier, or end up harming the fleeters waiting for her.
"Understood Corporal." He responded. The Security team and Tovan too cover behind some bushes and trees while the Marines moved out into their positions. "Corporal Shintaku should be in position soon then we make our move."

Jaxara nodded. "Let's get ready to rock."
"Chief, that gate looks well guarded." Daniels noted.
"Marines, and a phaser cannon, Daniels, I'm not worried." Jaxara responded.
Daniels nodded, and readied the phaser cannon.
Jennifer took careful aim and let out her breath slowly. -^-Sniper Two active, painting targets.-^- Holding her breath out, Jennifer fired once, watching the shot all the way to the target. The metal slug caught the man in the shoulder, spinning him out of sight. Redirecting her aim, she stared down the barrel of the weapon, and fired again. The glass and steel construction of the supressor made little gasping noises as the weapon should have barked. -^-Three down, South Corner no longer manned, South-West Corner is still active.-^-
"Chief?" Daniels asked.
Jaxara nodded.
"The phaser cannon.. do you really think it's necessary?"
Jaxara shrugged. "I thought it was a good idea at the time. It is rather bulky, isn't it?"
Daniels nodded. "This isn't a military action. We should probably send the heavy firepower home."
Jaxara shrugged.
Taking careful aim once again, several more silenced shots were fired, taking down the guards in the South-West corner, only accidently killing two of them. -^-Sout West Corner clear. Lieutenant Tovan, you are clear to enter the complex once your men have readied themselves. If I need to blow the door, let me know.-^- Standing, Jennifer began moving closer to the fleet officers. Gaining the ground quickly, Jennifer began to break down the Gauss part of her weapon. "If you'll give me a second or two, I'll be ready to take what ever position you require Lieutenant."
Once Delon received the information that the coast was clear he turned his attention over to Lt. Jaxara and Gunnery Sgt. Kyt. "You two are with me. We are going to go inside the building." Next he turned to Daniels. "You stay here with the cannon. We might need you to use it."
"Corporal Shintaku give us an idea of what's in front of us. I need Intel! And Corporal Guntold, watch out six as we go in. I don't want any surprises." He said as he got up from where he was hiding behind the trees and looked at the other two. "You ready?
Chichire had just cleared the north and north-west side security personal and then started to scanned the buildings nearest to her. "From my location, there's some sort of assembly line in the building at my 9:00. 12;00 is some sort of office building. 2:00 is a building I can't see through. It's heavily shielded. It has a wall around it. 3:00 is some sort of warehouse. The others are too far away."
Jaxara held his phaser close to him, and nodded to Delon. "In the words of the Klingons, today is a good day to die."
Kyt shook her head. "Do not tempt the prophets. Ready, Lieutenant Tovan."
Jennifer looked at the fleeters and shook her head. "It's not always a good idea to use someone else's battle cry Lieutenant, take it from experience." Without another word, she began reassembling her rifle, and re-affixing the scope. There was little time before they would start charging down to the door like a band of Mongols, and she wanted to be ready to take down any opposition they had before they could get injured. "And remember, if anyone gets hurt, our men will run down there, and drag them back here to be triaged, before being beamed back to the Caly."
