"The Alliance is denying that they had anything to do with the kidnapping..." Delon began as he looked around in a circle at those that were with him. "And I believe that they didn't have anything to do with it. Madam Onasi has offered to give us all the help she can spare, but I wouldn't count on their assistance too much. They have problems of their own. It seems that the Coalition is mobilizing their troops as we speak and Alliance is doing the same."

"I have asked Lieutenant Faye to get a team working on monitoring the transmissions being sent planet wide as well as trying to get the sensors to detect Betazoid life signs however up to this point they haven't had much luck."

"The security was pretty tight. There was no way for them to just walk up to the building and gain access to it so someone had to be working on the inside. Someone had to let them into the building and then cover their tracks as they left. Perhaps if we can find this individual they might provide us with the information we seek."

Gloriana, who was still standing off to the side, felt she needed to interject a comment here. "No, she would not be involved in a kidnapping. She has put a great deal of time and effort into making these peace talks work -- in spite of her disagreements with the Grand Marshal."

Nava listened to Gloriana "Who would have profitted most from the Grand Marshal's disappearance? Would it be possible that he arranged the whole incident? And what does he hope to gain if he did this?" Nava posed the questions to the entire group.

Jaxara arrived. "Crime scene analysis. Stat." He ordered. Several officers moved quickly to acknowledge.

"What the hell happened?" was his next phrase.

Gloriana ignored the man and turned to the Ferengi. "Who would have benefitted most? The Grand Marshal. But he would not kidnap himself. He has always preferred a direct attack. Next to him..." she had to think for a moment. "Whoever wants the planet to remain lawless."

Nava was silent "It seems that each faction would like some level of lawlessness to remain." She said carefully "Why were they so worried about not harming the others?"

Jaxara looked about. He raised his voice, and put his hand casually on his phaser. "I said What the hell happened?" He raised his question to a demand.

Gloriana gave him a withering glare. "You're the reason people around here mistrust the Federation. Be quiet and wait your turn and you might get an answer."

"Let me clarify." Jaxara said, drawing his phaser, annoyed. Several Security officers cowered, remembering the incident with the slug-thrower, in Engineering. "I am here to find my Captain. I don't give a damn what you think, but this is My crime scene, and if I ask a question, I expect an answer, so I can do my job. Stand in my way, and I will 'escort' you out of the crime scene with no questions asked. I have used more force, with less reason, in the past, and right about now, my mindset is not very accommodating bureaucrats."

Gloriana walked up to him and smacked the phaser out of his hand. "Put that away before you hurt someone," she said. "This is my planet. I want peace and if you cause any more problems I will have you escorted to the nearest canyon, which is 10,000 meters deep. That, or transport you off the planet with a letter of complaint to your Federation about how one of their security officers threatened a member of the peace delegation because he is unfit to be let out without his keeper."

Jaxara's immediate response to having his weapon smacked out of his hand was automatic. With a foot, he caught the weapon, kicked it up, and caught it. With the available hand, he grabbed the offending smacking hand, and twisted it behind the woman's back. The Federation Security Officers already had weapons pointed at her.

Nava stepped between the two of them "Jaxara this is not the time." She said calmly "We need to focus on finding the Captain."

He scowled. "Are you stupid, woman? I want peace too, but I warn you right now, Commander York is well liked by her crew. You can mumble on about your damn planet all you want, but I don't care. I will be happy to leave your damn planet, as soon as I have my Captain back." He shoved the woman forward, and away from him. "And if you touch my, or any other security officer's weapon again, I will not be held responsible, and keep in mind, not everyone keeps their phasers on light stun."

Gloriana raised a finger and signaled to two large men in military dress. "Escort this person off our planet. If he returns, shoot him."

Each man took Jaxara by an arm, taking care to squeeze just a bit too tightly. "This way," one of them said.

Jaxara scowled. "I will leave of my own power." He said. "And I remind you," as one of the officers aimed his phaser in the direction of the two larger men, and stood in the way of the two guards. "That federation phasers have a wide-beam setting, and can be set to leave the targets merely unconscious?." He added. "You don't want my help? Fine. I'll send the marines down to find the Captain. The Marine Commander is the Captain's Fiance. You think I am a hard case? Best of luck."

"At least he knows how to behave," Gloriana muttered, remembering the man who accompanied Commander York.

"Let's see how well behaved he is when the inhabitants of this element-forsaken rock kidnap his Commanding Officer, friend, and fiance." Jaxara said. The Security officer nodded, and signaled Jaxara's beam-up, and then beamed up, himself. The remaining personnel also took it upon themselves to leave, along with all their equipment.

Trent stood off to the side with a number of other Marines who had been questioning the staff. Having witnessed the dialogue between the two he felt that he should say something.

He moved forward and opened his mouth before his Sergeant knew what was happening.

"Excuse me, Miss?" He said as he closed the distance to Gloriana. "I feel as if I should apologise for the Lieutenant's actions. Please understand that the crew of our ship is under a lot of stress right now as I'm sure you can appreciate given what has happened here. We all just want to do as much as we can to find our Commander along with the Grand Marshal."

Gloriana looked at him for a moment as if she'd start in on him next. Then she relaxed. "Thank you. I want to find them as much s you do. This could lead my planet back into civil war and I don't want that. That's why I offered to help."

Just then, a small woman walked into the room. "Excuse me, I'm looking for someone named Damon."

Trent looked away from Gloriana and regaarded the newcommer. Once again he walked forward and spoke out of turn.

"Damon?" He asked with a confused look on his face. "As in Major Damon Raine?"

The woman paused for a moment. "I don't know. All I know is someone named Sam wanted me to come here and tell Damon... she needs help."
