Alex stopped in the corridor in front of the Orino's Captain's temporary office. She rang the door chime, exited to meet the man. She then waited for permission to enter.

Montgomery looked up, and beckoned the officer in.

She entered with a gentle smile, then stood at attention. "Lieutenant Adeyemon reporting for duty!." She was clearly a fit officer, if you didn't count the slight smile still on her face.

"Ah Lieutenant," said Montgomery standing up, im glad you got here so early. Now, we can go aboard Orion tomorow, but shes not ready yet - you'll be able to direct the stations staff to finish the systems the way you want them." he stopped and smiled, "I'm sorry, where are my manners - I seem to be in complete work mode. James Montgomery, pleased to meet you"

"Hello Commander." She waved. "I'm very glad to be taking control over these teams. I had to have a few talks with them in the last few days about turning their nose up to me and cutting corners."

"That'll just be because they're jealous" replied the CO with a grin, "all their hard work goes into getting a ship ready and then it sails away only coming back if the crew manage to undo the good work and wreck it. Don't take it personally. Until then, take some time off, explore Jupiter Station and I'll see you tomorrow."

"I'm sure they are, Commander. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye bye." She turned and walked swiftly out of the room. She was glad she'd gotten to meet him.
