Timeline: Current

Dr. Frost checked on Korok once more by asking him in her cheerful voice. "How has therapy been for you?"

"Fine" Korok glowered and growled in his rumble of a deep reverberating voice. He would not say that he hated it, but he did. Every last bit of it.

"Are you looking forward to being reunited with the Lieutenant and her children?" Ilse asked as she studied the data from his surgery and the therapists notes on where and how they thought Korok was doing and how much more therapy he had to go through.

The half klingon/half bajoran man looked at the young cheerful doctor his dark brows furrowed slightly over his dark pools of melted chocolate eyes. He had missed his mate, more then he would let any one know. He also had missed the children and he tried not to smile as he thought of them. "Yes!" He growled again for what seemed like the hundredth time.

Korok grunted slightly as he stretched out his leg, his knee and his leg felt heavy but it wasn't, it weighed the same as the other.

"Korok the weight difference is minimal. It was extremely hard to know for sure what it weighed previously as it had been smashed into a pulp." Doctor Muse had told him when the surgery was over. "It will however take some time for your brain and body to adjust, the synapses need to realign. The muscles, bones, and nerves need to heal."

Korok had remembered that it hurt, to him it still hurt. He still took pain medicine, it made him a bit cranky, and weird feeling but it helped.

"The technology of modern medicine had replaced your knee and one of your leg bones, the other bone in that leg had a crack in it but its been repaired" the doctor had said but Korok had quit listening by then, the name of sort of metal he could not recall. It functioned properly but he struggled with its movement still. The doctors had told him it was some sort of synapse issue and it would take time.

Time! He didn't want to take more time. Korok had growled over and over at the doctor's "Send me home, I want to go home." and he did, Korok wanted to go home, to the only home he now knew. The ship that was somewhere and he would try his hardest to get back to. He missed her, the dark haired amazon vixen that haunted his dreams that had become apart of him and he didn't want to stay away. So, he wouldn't. He growled, and crabbed and threatened and then did what they told him to do so he could go home.

When he and Doctor Ilse Frost arrived back onto the ship he wanted nothing more then to head to his quarters but the Doctor had stopped him. "Korok, don't forget therapy tomorrow."

"Yes Doctor." Korok replied with a growl as he hung his head he had hoped she would have forgotten.

Korok headed towards the lounge first and as he pushed open the doors to the 'Flying Chairs' as he wanted to call the place. 'Bazingas' was the El Aurian's women name for their thing. The Flying Chairs, was a bit different.

Korok smiled as he stood in the room. Gaia and Maia had listened to his request and had made arrangements for what he wanted.

He turned and headed to the Andrews quarters.
