Mission: Revenge
[CONTINUED]
[OLD]
Amongst the missing members is our Commanding Officer, Commodore York. Until such a time as she can be located I am assuming command of the ship in an acting role and I will be informing star fleet after this briefing, I will also inform the crew as such. Do not take this as a message of abandonment. This is a necessary action, but we are NOT leaving Commodore York or anyone else behind, I don't care what we have to do to ensure that."

Alexandra paused for a moment for her words to sink in, then continued. "Assignments are as follows. Lieutenant Munich as of this moment you are now the Acting Executive Officer. I expect you to ensure all departments including your own are carrying out their given assignments efficiently. Reallocate personnel as required.
Master Sergeant Mangalia, you and Miss Morrow will monitor our tactical situation and ensure the ship is combat ready at all times. Until Commodore York and the rest of our crew is found the ship will remain at red alert. Watch duties will be doubled and a team of marines and security personnel forming a quick reaction force will be on 30 minutes notice to move should we locate our missing crew.
Lieutenants Andrews and Lynx. Find out how the hell they got our personnel off this ship. Transporter, cloaked vessel, whatever it is find it. Use whatever experts you require.
Doctor have medical staff available at all times for when we get our crew back. We will not know their condition and I want them tended to the moment we find them. In the mean time, treat the crew as necessary and be vigilant as these next few days and possibly weeks are going to be tiresome, fatigue is going to set in.
If there are no questions, I suggest you all get to work immediately. I expect progress reports as they happen. Do not exceed six hour intervals."
Munich nod to the Commanding Officer and realized his life was about to get much more complex. He looked around as the news set in, he was not about to let the confidence the Acting Commanding Officer had shown but he also had no idea how to make that work?
"Aye," Eamon replied to his orders, he did look over at Andrews ready to begin the collaboration.
"I will see to it Sir." Munich reply calmly, thinking he should get with the commander after the meeting and do some behind the scenes planning.
Lizzie wondered what her part in all this would be, but for now she figured she was there to act as standby if Roberta should need her help. That was fine with her. She would keep up on events while she hung out in the arboretum.
"Commander, there's a slight issue," Leroy said stepping forward. Since he wasn't technically a Marine, he felt he needed her to know. "I'm your chief stick jockey. I run your fighters. I can still pass the info onto Morrow but Bourne's the one you need to talk to about the Marines."
"I don't see Lieutenant Bourne here, so either he could not be bothered or is missing. Either way, you have a task and you will see it through." Vance replied annoyedly.
Andrews turned to Lynx,"Let's get to the Science Department. We can run specturm analysis of this area around the ship, comparing the 'before' and 'during abductions' durations." She them turned to Lizzie. "I'd like you to accompany us, we'll need all the 'heads' we can muster on this, and if you two(gesturing to Lynx and Lizzie,) have any ideas, say them, we need to go over anything we can think of. Let's go.." The thee of them headed to the turbolift to the ship's Science Section.
"Okay." Lizzie fell in step behind the other two. "I can play back the recording of what happened on the holodeck, see if there's anything concrete there," she said.
Andrews turned to Lizzie. "That will help..if we can slow it down, bit by bit, we *may* be able to see what, if anything, they saw before they disappeared." The three of them continued on to the Science Dept.
~Great, nothing different then what the medical team would normally do.~ Ilse thought but nodded her consent she wondered if she could find enough toothbrushes to keep three shifts busy in between the normal booboos that came in. "Yes Ma'am" she said
"Lieutenant Frost." Munich started to add. "I would like you to help find a secondary way to track the people other than Comm badges." Munich suggested. " Some way to let us know IF anyone is taken and alert the ship of the activity? Most people do not sleep with a comm badge pinned to them."
During the turbolift ride Eamon turned to Andrews. "I can better assist from the Engine room. I'll call you once I get there. Engineering!" He announced to the lift after speaking to the other two officers. The lift acknowledged its next destination with a chirp but continued to where Andrews initially ordered it to.
Andrews turned to Lizzie. "Well, guess it's just you and I, then.." The turbolift arrived on the deck near the Science Section, and Andrews looked back at Eamon as she and Lizzie got off. "Anything out of the ordinary, you log it, got it?"
"Right." Eamon replied.

As the others left, Cam walked into the briefing room carrying a couple of PADD's, "Sorry I'm late sir, I was prepareing my units for deployment. What are your orders?"
Normally Alexandra would have either ignored the marine or lectured him on timings, but he had been proactive and not reactive, a skill this crew had yet to master.
"Computer is Lieutenant Morrow currently onboard?"
"Affirmative." the computer replied.
"Well then Lieutenant, seeing as Miss Morrow could not be bothered to attend the briefing or announce her whereabouts you are now in charge of assessing our tactical situation and ensuring there are no further abductions. Double the current watches, use whatever resources you need, Marines, Fighters, Security. Master Sergeant Mangalia has been briefed and you will have his cooperation. Do you have any questions?"
"Might I suggest having the Holo decks utilized for practicing rescue senarios, infiltration and extraction." Munich started. "Once we find any traces it would be up to your teams to get our people out." HE continued. I can have transporter tags made for your teams to place on people." Munich took a second to ponder. "I could tie the sensors through the Holodeck to allow you scans of the areas you might have to work with if that would help?"
Cam nodded, "Understood, my teams are already on standby for deployment. I will assign some of them to fill in for the missing security. As for training, I'll be using Alpha and Delta Units for the extraction. As transporters may not be an option, I'd like to request the use of a Runabout for deployment" he stated, going through the thoughts in his head, "As the lead for Alpha Unit is one of the missing crewmembers, I'll be taking her spot"
Vance tapped her commbadge. "Attention all hands this is Commander Vance. As some of you may or may not be aware, several members of our crew have gone missing. Amongst the missing crew is Commodore Samantha York. Given the uncertain timeline of her safe return as per starfleet regulation I am now assuming Command of the Calypso. I have appointed Lieutenant Munich the current Chief of Operations as acting Executive Officer. Please report to your department heads as soon as possible and give them your complete cooperation. Some departments will be required to work together on certain assignments and I ask that in this time you all work as a team with the same professionalism and dedication Commodore York has come to expect from you. We will find our crew and we will bring them home. Vance out."
