[Wilderness]
Sterling spotted smoke and cautiously approached a cabin. He walked up to the door and knocked.
The door swung opened quickly as a hand shot out and grabbed Sterling by the collar of his shirt. He was then pulled in and thrown against the wall inside the cabin. He could feel a blade on his neck and a first grip as the eyes of a man with a slight five o'clock shadow locked with his. The bracelet on his hand read "Max", it was Admiral Max Hunter. Or in this case, former, Admiral Max Hunter of Starfleet Intelligence.
[NEW]
Max kicked the door shut and leaned against Sterling, tightening his grip and holding the knife closer to his neck. Sterling could feel it against his skin, close to piercing. Max's eyes quickly looked at the man, up and down, before locking his eyes again and speaking in a soft voice. "I don't know you. Or at least I don't seem to think I do." He leaned back slightly as he, loosening his grip a bit and peeking out a crack in the curtains to the outside to see if there was anyone else there. "What are you doing here?"
"My name is Sterling," he replied, "At least I think it is. I don't know you either so I would appreciate it if you would pull tha knife back."
Max looked him up and down again, still not sure he was safe. he carefully checked him for weapons. When he was satisfied, he let him go. "What are you doing here?"
"I have no idea. I wouldn't even know who I was if it wasn't for this name tag. And I was wondering what you are doing here. How did you get here, how did you get the weapon?
"I woke up here. I found the knife in the outbuilding along with some rotten skins." He slowly put it in a makeshift scabbard. "Are there others here?"
"I would assume so, I have seen smoke from a couple of different sources. I can climb a tree see if I can see anything else. But first, do you have any food? I am really hungry."
Max pulled back and looked him in the eye for several moments, assessing his character. "I have a rabbit. You can have some, but don't tell anyone else. I'm not feeding the neighbors."

[Compound]
Munich had used some time to put something together that he thought might be of use, he had sharpened a type of back rock to a very good point and tied them to shafts. They were makeshift spears and that meant something is going to die out there.
He walked past the small group and the woman whom people seemed to be seeking information.
"I am going to see what I can kill for dinner." He felt a type of comfort and calling from the forest, like he knew how to survive it. "Got what I need to arrange supper, any requests?"
Gaia glanced at the man who spoke as he hurried by she called out. "Wait one moment." Gaia said as she nodded at the other two woman and walked over to the tall blonde man. "If you are serious about that request. Rabbit could be nice, quail, duck, pheasant, deer. Really any wild life could be useful. It will add protein to our diets and I am sure that all the strong men like yourself would find that enjoyable." The dark blonde said sincerely with a smile.
"Mandy wants to hunt. You may want to take her with you," Sam said.
"I have several spears so the more the merrier." Munich said

Standing at the entrance to their temporary shelter, Cam watched as people began to stir. Unable to get much sleep, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong, he just couldn't put his finger on it. As more people started to move, Cameron started watching how the croud flowed.
Kara woke and immediately looked around for Cam. He'd been in the room when she fell asleep, but now the room felt ... empty.
She left the room she slept in and looked around the communal area of the dorm and found him standing in the doorway. She slipped quietly behind him and looked outside for a minute before speaking. "Hi. Is everything okay?"
Cameron shook his head, "I don't know, something feels wrong. Like we're not supposed to be here, but I can't remember why" he said, turning to Kara, "I'm sure it's nothing. Sleep well?"
"No. I kept waking up," she admitted. "I know what you meant. I feel like something's missing, but I don't know what." She gave him a half smile, "And no, I don't just mean my memory."
Cameron smiled, "damn, and I was just about to say 'if only I could remember'. So much for that"
Kara leaned up and kissed him. It seemed to be the natural response to his comment. "At least I'm not the only one."
Cameron smiled, swinging an arm around Kara's shoulders, "I know, that's what's so strange. If it was just one or two people, I don't think I'd care so much, but everyone here has lost their memories"
Kara nodded. "So, should we go out there and see if we can find some answers?" she asked.
"Sounds like a plan, should you lead or do you want me to go out first?"
"You lead. I'll be right beside you."
Cam smiled. Somehow, knowing that Kara would be with him made him feel a little better. Looking around at the crouds gathering, Cam stepped out and just started walking.
