Mission: What Dreams May Come?
Location: Various

Samantha walked into her quarters and looked around. Everything seemed normal. But then, she hadn't slept yet. With the entity gone, there should be no further problems, but until she heard from all her department heads in the morning, she wasn't going to relax.

Although the overall feel of the ship had calmed down a great deal, which gave her hope. And the shields had been modified to keep the entity from coming back aboard. So, with her hopes up, she pulled out a book and began to read.

Alexandra stood in front of her window watching the stars pass by her after a restful sleep. She had not slept so peacefully in quite a long time yet for some reason she was in a great deal of pain, but her mind tortured her by eluding the answer. Her still human eye was wet from the tears she allowed to drop down her cheek. She allowed herself to be vulnerable in the face of the universe as it had a talent for keeping secrets, it carried thousands over many millenia and she knew it would not betray her. However this time she was not completely vulnerable, her augmented eye remained dry and stalwart, a constant reminder of another part of her taken by the enemy....

Vance turned away from the window and wiped her cheek gingerly with her hand. She frown changed to a slight smile as the site of her guitar met her gaze. She took the instrument from it's stand and sat down on her bed.

"I know just the thing."

Alexandra strummed the string of the guitar to check the sound and find her positioning. Once she was satisfied she began to play a song.

**Skyscraper: By Demi Lovato.**

Go on try and tear me down, I will rise up from the ground Came the eerie voice of Gul Morat followed by a soft sinister laugh.

Sterling's Quarters
Sterling was feeling much relieved. His neck was still a bit sore from where the entity had grabbed him and he wasn't sure how something without a body could have hurt him physcially, but he was safe now and could worry about that later.

He poured himself a glass of wine and tried to relax.

In the arboretum, Lizzie walked through the trees, smiling happily. Not a one of them spoke to her -- except for the rustle of leaves in the artificial breeze. It made her happy that everything was finally back to normal.

Gaia sat in Bazinga's her slender legs crossed as sat and sipped a steaming mug of tea and delicately touched the cover of the journal in her apron pocket, and then went over the daily menu and ordered the supplied that she needed for the next few months in advance.

Apu had taken the time to dig out two old family recipes and a specialty drink recipe he'd acquired from some planet in the Eskay system. The man never said WHICH of the four habitable planets he came from, but as the drink was quite good, Apu didn't care.

He walked into Bazinga's, dressed in his usual olive-drab fatigues and looked for Gaia.

Jenna kicked Mojo under the table where the two of them had been working diligently on folding napkins. She nodded her chin towards the man who had entered the Lounge. "He's back." She whispered

Mojo frowned at Jenna and stood up and walked briskly towards the man. "'Hello Mon, what you need today?"

"I would like to see Gaia. WE have business to discuss," Apu said.

"Right this way, what will you want to drink or eat today?" Mojo wanted to make sure that he would stay as long as possible so that he and Jenna at least had something to discuss later in the day.

"Not right now, thank you," Apu said politely. It was not that he didn't want to linger, but with the return to a more normal routine, he found himself quite busy.

Mojo led him to Gaia's table. "Ms. Gaia this...." Before he could get the words out Gaia exclaimed happily with a cheeky grin. "Apu, It is good to see you, please sit down." She wet her lips and swallowed slightly, a bit nervously a smile hit her eyes and gestured at the seat across from her. She leaned forward as she spoke a bit of heat rose in her face her tone and demeanor genuinely happy to see him "I have what you were willing to trade for, but I have to tell you that I have many more items you might be interested in."

"Ah, my lady, I would be happy to see what you have to offer." He gave her a polite bow and took the seat across from her. "I have the recipes."

Gaia smiled again, she was excited to get her hands on new and interesting recipes. Gaia lifted the journal out of her apron pocket and held it out to him. Her dark eyes met his for a long moment as she waited for him to take it.

He paused to smile back before taking the journal. He handed her the recipes and then looked through the journal, pausing from time to time to read a page. When he was done he smiled. "This is excellent. Thank you."

"No, thank you." Gaia said as she looked up with a grin, her mind had already started to spin on how she could adjust the recipes and how to use them where and when. She opened her order list and added a few things to it.

Apu checked his chronometer. "I regret that I must leave. Business is busy right now. Lots of people need supplies after weeks of sleepless nights. But I will return," he promised. He took her hand and kissed the back of it before turning and walking out of the lounge.
