Gaia then focused on Lizzie and smiled softly "So you needed people and your first thought was to come here?" Gaia's eyes lit up as she laughed.

"Yeah. That, and you're not too far from the arboretum." She grinned at Gaia. "But this place does have a nice atmosphere."
"Well thank you. I am glad you feel comfortable enough to come here."
Her cookies and milk were delivered promptly.
"Thanks. I know it's odd, but I still love cookies and milk," Lizzie said, grinning.
Gaia grinned "Well I am certainly glad, I will attempt to create and keep a variety of cookies on hand for your eating pleasure."
"You know, that means I'll have to come back here a lot then," Lizzie grinned.
Gaia smiled and said sincerely "Good, I'd like the company."
Eamon had finished his food but the hunger didn't seemed to be satisfied which began to increase slightly and it filled his mind.
The Inaran looked around like he was an animal stalking their prey. He found Gaia and Lizzie talking to each other. He rushed over and knocked over the table in a hunger rage. Eamon was now face to face with Lizzie and he made growling eatery noises as he brought his hands up to the sides of his head but palms facing Lizzie and ready to impale his prey.
"STOP!" Gaia yelled
"Hey," Lizzie yelled. "You knocked over my cookies." It was a silly thing to say, but she hoped it would make him stop and think. She put up a hand to defend herself. "Lieutenant! Back off!"

Sterling woke up the sheets twisted around his body, sweat dripping down his face. He looked down at his hands and saw blood there. Rachel's blood. He blinked a few times. This was not the first time for him to dream about blood. But when he looked down the blood was still there. That had never happened to him before.
He stumbled into the bathroom and began washing his hands, but instead of water it was blood that flowed. He looked into the mirror and saw not only his reflection but that of the shadowy figure from his dream.
When he shook his head and screwed his eyes shut he counted to ten in his native tongue then opened them. Everything was normal, but still he didn't trust what might happen next.
He decided to grab some clothes and put them on. He needed to be in public with lots of people. He headed out into the corridor.
There was an unusual number of people in the corridor for that time of night. Most were on duty or in their quarters, but with the slew of problems, more people were out and about to keep the nightmares at bay.
What he needed was a nice cup of cinnamon tea, the spicier the better, so he headed back to the bar he had visited the other night.
Lizzie saw someone she didn't recognize walk into Bazinga's. "Look out, I think he's possessed or something."
Sterling looked over at her and arched a brow. "Are you talking about me?" he asked. "I don't believe in possession in the first place, in the second, I might be troubled but I am hardly how you say possessed."
"Not you," Lizzie said, pointing to Eamon, "him."
Sterling turned to face Eamon and thought he might have to reconsider his skepticism about possession. "Wha...what's going on here?" he asked.
"He attacked our, her cookies." Gaia replied not quite sure what to think of the whole situation.
Eamon fought to pin Lizzie arms to the floor and she could see that his eyes were changing colours, eventually turning dark, as he spoke with an echoed voice. "I will feed on your energy!" The hunger in him said.
A small black kitten walked out of the back room and helped itself to a fallen cookie, then sauntered off, totally ignoring the chaos around it.
"Lieutenant Lynx!" Lizzie ordered. "Get off me and go to your room!" If she had a rolled up newspaper she'd smack him across the nose with it. She had no idea what was wrong with him, but if he didn't snap out of it she was going to feed him to her trees.
Gaia had stood there long enough she stepped behind the bar and grabbed one of her favorite tools, a big frying pan and came back and started to swing. The pan hit the man on the side of the head. It was a hard hit but not too hard. He would feel dazed. Hopefully it was enough for Lizzie to get away.
Lizzie jumped back from Lynx and he fell to the ground. "Thanks," she said to Gaia. "I think we should call security about him. Maybe have the doctor take a look."
Sterling didn't really think. His training and instincts took over. He never went anywhere without a phaser, it was too much of risk to fire into the crowd especially since he was a good but not great shot.
Like an ancient Terran middle linebacker he launched himself at the other man.
Eamon fell onto his back a meter or so from Lizzie and then Sterling landed on him. He fought with the new man and kicked the Kirosian in his stomach propelling him away. Eamon growled and just as suddenly his real personality took hold. He brought his hand up to the massive source of pain on the side of his head, there was some blood.
He looked around and saw everyone watching him. "What?" He asked. "Why does my head hurt?" He was losing focus but slowly.
"You went a little nuts," Lizzie said, "So Gaia knocked the sense back into you."
"Wow sense, hurts." Eamon said.
Gaia looked apologetic at Eamon "So sorry I had to pan you along side your knoggin"
"Better your sense than my face," Lizzie countered. "Glad you're back to being you. I suggest you see the doctor about that lump." There was a trickle of blood coming from the area of impact. "You're bleeding."
"Good idea." He said standing though it was difficult to keep balance but instead of falling again Lizzie caught him. "Thanks and I'm sorry."
"It's okay, just don't let it happen again, please," she said. She'd always dreamed of some guy falling for her, but not quite like this. "Do you need help getting to sickbay?"
"Please, I don't know how it started." Eamon said as Lizzie helped the Golden Elf out of Bazinga's.
"Okay, come on. But if you try to bite me, I'm gonna kick you," Lizzie warned.
Gaia turned to Sterling "Thank you for helping us."
"Of course," he replied his expression neutral. Just doing my job. I am the new Security Investigations Officer, though I must admit that I did not expect to break up this kind of brawl."
"Neither did we," Lizzie quipped. "Thank you. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't distracted him."
"So what is going on here?" the Warrant Officer asked.
"I have no idea," Lizzie said from the doorway. "He came in here and attacked me. He's acting really strange. Then again, there are a LOT of strange things going on around here lately."
She turned and led Eamon to sickbay.
