Damion let out a slight growl and then lunged at her. "Bitch!" He screamed as he grabbed her from behind and then pulled her back. "I'll gut you like a trout!" He could feel her struggle against his grip and then threw her into the rock wall. He pulled out his knife and held it millimeters to her throat. He tried forcing it closer, but it wouldn't budge. "Dammit! Dammit Dammit Dammit!" He yelled and then pulled himself back from her and looked at her. "Why the hell can't I kill you?" Damion yelled again as he held the knife out to her. "Every time I get close I feel myself stopping but I don't know why! This is your doing, somehow. What have you done to me?"
[NEW]
"I told you, but you don't believe me. Inside you know who I am and you know I'm telling you the truth. So, if you kill me, you only hurt yourself." She could feel a trickle of blood run down the side of her face from where it hit the rock, but she ignored it. She wanted to yell at him to remember and she wanted to get up and leave, but she did neither. She just glared at him.
"Right now, the only think I know is that I want to either kill your or kiss you. I don't understand why I want to kiss you, but its there for some strange reason." Damion tucked the knife back into is holder and then walked slowly over to her. He took out a cloth and reached over to her. She would react by slapping his hand away. This would only irritate him more. He shot his hand out and held her wrist and then pressed the clothe to the wound on her head. "Hold still!"
Ronnie didn't move. She wasn't sure how he'd react, either, but right now she wasn't going to press too hard.
"You should have just given me the damn disruptor from the get go. I knew you were gonna be stubborn. Somehow I felt you were gonna force me to take it from you." Damion's touch got softer and gentler as he held the cloth to her head wound. It was almost like feeling old Damion's touch again. He couldn't help but wonder how he knew she was going to react to him that way. "You still haven't told me why you keep calling me Damion."
"Because that's who you are. Damion Wolfe. You and I served together on the Calypso. Before we ended up here. I've been looking for you -- for Damion -- for a month now. Only, you don't know who you are. You think you're this guy named Johnny. You think you're a killer, but you aren't."
"I am a killer. I remember every kill. I never heard of this Damion and he sounds like a chump." Damion scoffed a little and then laughed. "So what is he your husband? boyfriend? lover?" He moved the cloth away from her head to see if the bleeding had stopped and then pressed it back on her. "If he is he has my sympathies, now that I see who he deals with on a daily basis."
Ronnie slapped him across the face. How dare he say that? She pushed him away and moved to get up. His woards cut her deeply and she had to get away from him.
Damion waited for a moment and then shot his hand out. He grabbed her by the throat and then pulled her back against the wall. He growled slightly and then looked at her. He looked into her eyes and then slowly loosen his grip. "Don't do that again." He said in a soft, but angry tone as he let go of her and then leaned down to pick up his disruptor.
"Don't you do that again, either," she growled back.
Damion turned back to face her. "Or what? Or what?!!" He yelled back as he tucked the disruptor back in his hands.
Ronnie had enough of this person that was no longer Damion. She glared at him and headed back to a more public venue. Right now, if she never saw Johnny again it would be too soon. As for Damion, she feared if it was already too late to get him back.
"Hey! Don't walk away from me!" Damion followed her. He could feel himself getting frustrated with her, but also enjoying it some more. He walked up behind her and then forcefully turned her around, grabbing onto her shoulders and looking at her.
"Why not? You have what you want."
"Because." Damion looked at her slightly irritated and slightly nervous. "Be... cause... I said not to walk away from me. That should be enough." He went back to being angry.
"Why? You've made it more than clear that you want nothing to do with me, so why don't you want me to walk away?" she asked.
Damion looked at her funny and then off to the side. "I don't know." He said softly and then looked back to her. He put his hand on his disruptor, but didn't draw it. His eyes looked different this time. It wasn't as cold and emotionless as they would usually be. This time there was something behind them. Confusion and slight concern. Not for himself, but for her. He slowly eased his hand off the weapon and then got back to his stern look. Damion let out a slight growl and then walked off, brushing past her forcefully. He put his hood back on and kept walking.
Ronnie stood for a long time staring after Johnny. She started out wanting to push Johnny to see if Damion would come back. Then she wanted to walk away and never see either of them again. Now she was ... confused.
She signed. Was this progress? She had no idea.
