Mission: Subjugation
Location: In the Mines
Timeline: Day 31

ON

Ronnie was being extra-careful about where she went now. She didn't want to run into Hur'Rak again. Twice was more than enough, even if it meant she wouldn't run into Damion again, either.

After she and Sam returned to their area the'd had a long talk about Damion -- or Johnny -- and his belief that he was one of his many aliases. At least that was the most likely scenario.

She carried his disruptor as protection and as a constant reminder of who it belonged to.

Damion walked through the sector. Most of the people around him just ignored him because he was Johnny Soprano, part of Hur'Rak's gang in his sector. He kept to himself and looking straight until he saw Ronnie. He stopped in his tracks. Part of him was extremely curious as to what was going on, but he couldn't help but also want to ring her neck. He knew he couldn't do it. He knew he wasn't about to put his hands on Ronnie, even though he didn't know who she was, or did he?

He suddenly changed his course and started to follow Ronnie. He kept himself quiet and out of her sight, making sure not to be seen or heard. Damion pulled his knife and got closer and close to her. He saw her stop for some reason, he didn't know why but he saw an opportunity. He crept up behind her and raised the knife, but he stood there. Holding it over her and knowing he couldn't bring himself to bring it down into her.

For several seconds Ronnie was afraid he would actually kill her. Her gaze was defiant. She had a very hard time dealing with Johnny. And, frankly, after a month of looking for him, if this was all she would find, she would just as soon die by his hand than watch him kill someone she cared about.

Suddenly she turned and see him. Damion hesitated and then grabbed her and violently pulled her into a secluded part of the mine. He growled slightly as he pulled his disruptor out and aimed it at her. "I've come for what's mine!"

"I wish," she answered cryptically. "But I doubt we're talking about the same thing."

"You have something that belongs to me." Damion held the disruptor at Ronnie and watched her cautiously. "My disruptor. Give it to me, nice and slow."

"And if I choose to keep it?" Ronnie asked.

"I'm sorry. Apparently, your confused. You seem to think.. YOU HAVE A CHOICE!" Damion fired a shot from his disruptor next to her. The explosion was minor and kicked up some dirt from the ground.

Ronnie fired a shot by his feet. "Yes, I think I do have a choice." She was getting angry and frustrated and fed up with the entire situation and she was taking it out on Damion -- or, rather Johnny for NOT being Damion.

"Give me my damn weapon, girl!" Damion fired another shot at the ground next to Ronnie. He knew he could hit her with it, but he just couldn't move his arm to where it would be. Normally he would have done it already, but no matter how much he mentally pushed himself something just wasn't letting him.

Ronnie could almost feel his thoughts and the internal struggle, which she found fascinating. It was a perverse feeling. She raised an eyebrow and looked at him.

"What?? Don't look at me like that. Stop looking at me like that. Just... Just give me the disruptor and walk away. Why is that so difficult for you?" Damion replied almost nervous and strangely at ease with Ronnie all of a sudden.

"Look at you like what?" Ronnie asked. She didn't make any moves towards giving him his disruptor.

"Like the way you were just looking at me just now." He held the disruptor up for a moment and then held it back up to her. Damion looked at her slightly and then fired again, this time moving it a little closer to her. "Last chance or I will kill you."

"Kill me and you'll never forgive yourself. You'll remember who I am and you'll have to live with the knowledge that you killed the woman you loved over a blaster." She threw it onto the ground. She couldn't take that chance.

In her heart she'd hoped he was on the brink of some sort of epiphany, but now he seemed to be reverting firmly back to Johnny. And it broke her heart.

She turned her back on him, not caring if he shot her or not. "Good bye, Damion."

"What the hell are you talking about? What is wrong with you? Who the hell is Damion?" He screamed at the top of his lungs and then held his disruptor out to her. "Don't walk away from me, Girl! You have no idea who your dealing with!" Damion fired a shot the passed her hear and hit the wall a few feet from her, blasting off pieces of it. "Your going to tell me everything you know."

That made her angry. She turned and stormed back to him, slugging him in the arm. "You're a telepath, why haven't you figured it out by now? You can feel it, idiot if you'd just take time to listen."

She realized what she'd done and turned again, intent on leaving him alone. It really wouldn't help anything if she pushed him into shooting her before he figured out who she was.
ON

Damion let out a slight growl and then lunged at her. "Bitch!" He screamed as he grabbed her from behind and then pulled her back. "I'll gut you like a trout!" He could feel her struggle against his grip and then threw her into the rock wall. He pulled out his knife and held it millimeters to her throat. He tried forcing it closer, but it wouldn't budge. "Dammit! Dammit Dammit Dammit!" He yelled and then pulled himself back from her and looked at her. "Why the hell can't I kill you?" Damion yelled again as he held the knife out to her. "Every time I get close I feel myself stopping but I don't know why! This is your doing, somehow. What have you done to me?"
