The Race for the Lost Treasure
Location: Calypso Conference Room

Sam called a few of her senior officers to her ready room to discuss their visitor. She wasn't quite sure what to make of the woman or the ship that attacked her.
Sam had read all the reports and now wanted to figure out what their next move should be.
Levue took a deep breath, as she entered. She nodded to the Captain.
Doctor Bowen walked in, seeing that not many have showed up for the meeting. She approached the Captain. She turned to look at the Chief Security officer, "Lieutenant Levue, I need to speak to the Captain privately, please step out and let others know not to come in until we are done."
Damion entered the Ready Room and then took a seat. He gave a quick glance around then room and then came back to the Captain with a nod.
Levue scowled, and looked to the Captain, prior to doing so. Nodding, she stepped out of the room.
Leanne pulled out a gold rock and handed it her. "Doctor Hart had this on himself before he was sedated. I assume this gold nugget was from the planet as he was with you on the away team. I don't know whether to give it back to him or you wanted it for safe keeping for something..."
Sam looked it over carefully. "It is from the planet. I'll and to keep it for now, but he'll probably get it back when we're done investigating the map." She made a noter in a PADD and slipped the nugget in a pocket for later analysis. "Thanks."
"Also, Captain...I wanted to speak to you about the situation in sickbay which I don't know if you have heard. I didn't like the way security has treated my personnel with one pulling a phaser on my head nurse as she was doing her duty. It caused an emotion strain on her...psychologically with fear. I had to send Nurse Tarango off-duty for a few days with a trip to see the counselor. I have no objections of having security for protection, but one going overboard with telling how my personnel should or should not do is a little off balance...", Leanne said, feeling with concerned.
Sam had heard about it. "I'll have a talk with Lieutenant Levue. You're right. She had no right to pull a phaser on your nurse. I'm sorry, Leanne."
"Thank you, Captain." The doctor turned to the door to let the security chief know that everybody is welcome to come in.
Sam nodded and went to her seat at the table.
Leanne went to sit down.
Cassandra entered. She sat down, several seats away from Bowen. She nodded to the Captain, and sipped some coffee. Her comm-badge chirped.
"Yes?" She asked the air.
"Just letting you know that-" Daniels' voice started.
"Is it important?" Levue asked.
"Not really, but-" Daniels started.
"Write it down in a report, I'll deal with it later." She said to the air, and then tapped her badge again, closing the link.
"If you could all be seated, I'd like to begin," Sam stated. "First, I'd like your reports and opinions on our new guest. I want to know all about her before deciding our best course of action -- I hear there are some disputations among you."
"There are disputations among the Security department, for certain. Ensigns Daniels, Tyler, and Watts, believe that the woman in question is entirely sincere in her story. Lieutenant Levue, Ensign Stran, and The SCIS Criminal Pathologist see enough holes in her story, which the Chief Intelligence Officer not only overlooked, but assisted in her filling, of them, to not believe a word she has said, is honest." Levue said, in a somewhat unimpressed tone of voice.
Sam looked at the others. "Interesting. Please explain."
=A= Abbott to Captain York. I've found some interesting things on this shuttle =A= Jourdan reported over the comm.
"What sort of things?" Sam asked.
=A= Well captain. Whoever was firing at this shuttle didn't mean to actually destroy it. They seem to have been aiming at non-essential systems such as the transporter array and sensor pallets. The propulsion drives are damaged but the weapons are fine. She could have shot back Captain =A=
"Very interesting. Thank you, Lieutenant."
After a half minute of silence, Doctor Bowen picked up her PADD to glance at it before she looked at the Captain. "As for the patient - Morgana - my head nurse put into record that this woman had a small hairline fracture of her upper leg and several bruises outlined in different areas of her body. I assume that she was thrown from her seat when the ship was hit by a weapon of another ship. Nurse Tarango has stated that she had shown good behavior whether she was...", Leanne glanced at the security with a slight frown, "enemy or not." She looked back at the Captain, "She was treated. Morgana became very disturbed after the security situation took place when she thought she was a prisoner. That's all the report from my nurse." Leanne sighed a little and moved her back till it rested to the chair's back.
"Thank you Doctor." Sam looked at Cassandra. She and the security officer needed to have a chat.
Cassandra scowled, catching Samantha's eye. She wasn't about to sit tight, and let thinly veiled accusations slip by without appropriate argument. "The nursing staff must be retrained on proper security protocols, regarding persons brought in to sickbay, under guard. We had no idea who this woman was. She could have been anything from an assassin, to some average jane doe. In addition, several inappropriate questions were asked, by the nurse in question. She didn't think she was a prisoner. To the contrary, according to regulations, given the questionable nature that an unauthorized person, gaining entry to the vessel, until cleared, this person is, legally, is a prisoner. I will add in, that the nurse in question, would best be reminded that this is a military vessel, and such inappropriate breaches of security are an arrestable offense, which may have resulted in incarceration, or ejection from Starfleet Service. Commander Bowen would do well, to remind her staff of such things. Admittedly, given the previous Chiefs of Security, such rules, and regulations have not been properly enforced. They will be, now."
