Alex walked out of the breefing room, disapointed beyond compare to missing the meeting. Lieutenant York had updated her on what was going on.

She was now on her way to main engineering to finish preparing her department. She stepped onto the turbolift and was on her way.

She entered Engineering with a slight grin and walked over to the her Assistant Chief. "Ensign Soto, what's the status of the warp core?"

The gentleman looked down at her. "The core is fully operational, ma'am. We are maintaining a safe warp velocity."

Seeming a bit happier knowing that. "And the cloaking device?"

"Ready for action, Lieutenant."

Her smile widened to it's normal length and she moved to her console.

OOC: Sorry for my disapearing act there guys. I'm currently in a production of The King and I. It's extremely time consuming, but it will be over next month. I will however, be able to find siming time now.
