"Captain Mangalia still isn't reporting," one of the few battle dressed Marines said walking over. "And Corpsman Tyrr is always like that trying to find a way to kill off someone's quote UN-quote good idea. He's a little high strung, which if you look at it from his perspective, is a good thing. He's dedicated his life to Nuclear, Biological and Chemical warfare and how to defeat it. You don't do that without a bit of insanity poking through."

---Inside the surgical suite---

Nurse Jaynes accidently knocked the tray of instruments onto the floor as she lost her balance. She slowly got down on the floor and picked them up, placing them on another tray. She is starting to feel the effects of the virus as she stood up. Yvette grabbed a glass of water and took a sip. She wondered if the doctors have found an antidote yet. She picked up a tricorder and went back to work.

Tyrr turned and looked and swore. "Nurse, on a cot, now." Someone else was beginning to feel the affects and he was no where near a cure. He was ignoring his own symptoms, looking to find a way to nutralize something that was mutating constantly. Moving over to the Nurse, he grabbed her shoulders lightly and moved her to a cot. "You need rest, I'm close, but I've still got a bit of a way to go."

Nurse Jaynes couldn't argued with him as she felt too weak to fight him. She did as she was told and tiredness overwhelmed her, causing her to close her eyes and sleep.

Moving back to his instruments he felt light headed but continued to work. He needed to find a cure, before any one else died, or contracted it. He knew what the pompous security officer was doing, and shook his head. This wasn't going to be settled with more man power, it was going to be settled with the mind. As his vision began to blur, he continued to work, the virus attacking him faster and harder than any of the others, as if it knew that he could defeat it.

"Got it," he said almost four hours later, holding up a vial of the anti-virus. "I've got the cure." With that, he toppled back, unconscious from the onslaught.

Callen heard a thump after she made her rounds on checking people. She hurred over to check out what fell to the ground. Entering the lab she rushed over to the fallen man on the ground. Reaching him she pulled out her tricorder and scanned him. She cursed under breath as she tried to wake him up. She smaked him on the face and shook him but it didn't work. Giving up on physically hurting him she rushed over to the counter and grabbed the hypo spray and rushed back over. She injected it into his neck and pleaded, "Wake up."

She saw his eyes flutter open and mummbling something under his breathe. She leaned down to hear what he was saying.

"Got the Antidote... glass..." Tyrr didn't want to speak much, he could feel the stings from the slaps, but it didn't really register.

"Vial... Vial," she stated looking around for it on the ground. Then she saw the glass tube like substance on the floor. "Vial," she bellowed as she scurred over and picked it up. "Know what," she stated but hte Tyrr was slowly fading. Callen rushed over and bent down, "Don't you fall a sleep again." Then she smacked him across the face, "Tell me what to do know."

"Synthesize, distribute," Tyrr said, not wanting to stay awake. He just wanted to go back to sleep. He knew, in the back of his mind that the virus was attacking his vital systems, but he needed the others to get better before he would allow himself to be cured.

She placed it into the hypo spray and injected a small amount in him and then sat back and waited.

Tyrr's eyes stopped clouding, and he felt wide awake. He could feel the affects of the remedy and swore. He wanted the cure distributed before he got a taste of it. "Guess someone needed to be a guine pig," he muttered, glaring at the woman. "Now get to synthesizing that cure, and distributing far and wide. Send a sample up to the Caly, and make sure that any security officers that come down here because of Secur-A-Twit and his needing to be in control even when someone else knows best."

Doctor Bowen felt weaker now. She tried to reach Tyrr after she saw him falling, but she found Callen has reached him first as she was closer to him. She wanted to help, but her body has protested to do so with dizzyness and fatigue. More symptoms has overwhelmed her. Before she knew what happened with him, darkness consumed her eyes and she fell to the floor.

Callen saw doctor Bowen fall to the ground, she rushed over and check the scanned the woman. Then soon after injected small amount of the cure into her as well. Then she rushed over to the counter to make more of this. Once she had a few more bottles she handed some over to the Corpal and Bowen, then rushed off to find Wes who was sicker then most. Her heart raced and once she caught up to him she quickly injected the cure to him hoping it wasn't to late to save him.

She felt the touch of the injection. In a few minutes, her headache eased from severe to mild. Leanne opened her eyes, looking at Callen before looking at the vial that was handed to her. "Found a cure?" She asked the question just as the woman took off quickly and figured that the answer must be yes. She slowly sat up and watched her attend to the surgeon.

Doctor Valdez felt the injection to his neck. He was too sick to open his eyes and had fear of the light. He couldn't think straight with being this weak. "Bo...Bo...Bowen? Thomp...Thompson?" His voice sounded harsh and dry.

Callens hears perked up when she heard him mumble, "I'm here Thompson, sir. How are you feeling?" She stated quitely rubbing his shoulders and looking over him with concern.

"Hit by a tr...truck," he said with his closed eyes.

Tyrr was walking around, packing his gear. "Doc Bowen, is there anything else you need me for? The antidote is easy to synthesize."

She wanted to get up and go to work, but the weakness in her body kept her down. "No, just continue giving the antidote around. I will help distribute to the people of the planet as soon as I get my strength here."

Helga came up and set her tray down. "No. You rest. Let us take care of distributing the medicine." She filled several hypsprays and began to take the side of the room oposite the one Callan headed for.

In no time, everyone in the warehouse had received a shot. Now they needed to work on the rest of the planet.
