Mission: Shades of Gray
Location: Michnar VII

ON

Hel decided the best place for her was out front, dressed in a traditional white nurse's uniform: short white skirt and snug-fitting top. She would act as triage nurse, directing those who needed medical attention to the right place.

A large sign directed people who wanted food to one line and those who wanted medical treatment to another line leading to Hel.

She set up a little table with several PADDs and waited for the first patients to arrive.

Doctor Valdez did a double take at the woman in a white uniform, wondering who ordered a lady...a nurse maybe, to be in a dress code like that? It was way off the charts as far as dress code goes. And too much attention to the guys around without getting the job done. He went off to find the Chief to see what was up with that. He may not be the person in charge, as far as he is still new to this crew, but this one was no acception to his book of following the rules of Starfleet. If she was my nurse, I would either fire her or make her change the dress code.

He nearly bumped into Doctor Bowen when he turned around. "Oh...I almost ran into you, ma'am."

"Is there a problem?"

"Yes...that lady in a white uniform. It is beyond the dress code, ma'am."

Leanne glanced over to the table where Helga stood and looked back at the Surgeon. "As far as she is not on board the ship, I don't see a problem. At least she will get the attention of the planet's civilians as you know how many men will not get medical attention."

He decided to not say more as she is the boss and it was her decision to allow the nurse to wear such an outfit. "I guess so. Well, the surgical suite is all set and ready to go."

She nodded as she noticed that he appeared to be a little arrogant. "Okay, let's get back to work."

He couldn't get it off his mind. Wesley went back inside to double check his surgical instruments and equipment. He may be a little uptight, but it still causing a distraction to see that nurse again. He noticed that the corpsman is not around, so he is alone in the area for now.

Trent was one of the Marines ordered to stand guard as all of the people going into the building were ordered to be searched and relieved of any instruments that could potentially be used as weapons. He was not happy with this posting. He felt as though he should be with the group looking for the lost Fleetie, not watching a bunch of people surrendering their keys.

A man that stood in line for medical attention, fell to the ground unconscious.

Hel hurried over to him, pulled out her tricorder, bent over and quickly checked his vitals. She signaled to Trent. "I need help moving him inside. Can you help me or call for someone?"

Trent put his fingers in his mouth and let out a shrieking whistle. "Listen up! I need two volunteers to help carry this man. I'm sure your needs will be taken care of once inside." It never hurt to add a little incentive.

Two men in line quickly raised their hands. "We'll be happy to help you."

Hel smiled sweetly at them both. "Thank you." She instructed them to help her put him gently on a hoverpad. "Now, if you will just follow me, we can take him to see the doctor." She walked in front of them and led the way to the medical facility inside, oblivious to the fact that they were more interested in watching her walk than in helping the unconscious man.

The men helped her move the patient to a biobed, both a little clumsy. When they were finished, Hel kissed them both on the cheek, giggling when they blushed. "Thank you. Now, if you will come back outside with me, I will see what I can do for you." She made sure one of the doctors saw to the unconscious man before she led the way back outside.

Wesley growled as he found the tight skirt nurse inside with two men behind her, appeared to be drooling as they followed her like a queen. When he saw the unconscious man on the makeshift biobed, his mood changed to the professional face. He assumed that it is his job to be the physician now, as there are no surgeries to perform and Dr. Bowen is busy with the line-up with the people outside. Wesley picked up some gloves and slapped them on his hands, walking over to the patient to start his doctoring skills.

After dealing with medical supplies, Callen rushed over to assist the doctors and nurses on treating people. She had some sort of medical background, dealing with her family getting into sticky situations. She rushed over putting her hair up and putting some gloves on and handing the doctor is needed equipment. "Here," she stated to a doctor handing him a hypo spray and scanner.

The surgeon looked at her with a frown, "And who are you?"

Callen almost swallowed her tongue, "Um I am Chief Warrant Officer Callen Thompson. A Star Fleet Officer, sir. Since everyone else is busy, I figured I would come over and assist you, sir."
