The first day of school for Max, he was very excited to be going back. There was some drama when he left Washington about saying goodbye to his last Teacher, Miss Norris. He was very hooked on her. She also seemed to be hooked on Max's dad.... So that kept the Parent Teachers visits to a minimum. They entered a very bright and functional classroom with several Holoscreens and a lot of plants, so many that John thought the Teacher must be a Druid. Pamela Landy saw them and introduced herself, she immediately took Max and whisked him away, he was smitten all over again but did give Dad a thumbs up sign as he hustled off to his desk. That was their sign he would be OK and Dad could take off. John was amazed it didn't take longer....
