Ghost didn't have much of a problem getting inside the building. The guards at the front door had given him a weird look at first but with the ID card provided by Anastasia they let him right in. Before he had stepped into the building the guards warned him to stay clear of the second level. When he asked why, they told him it was none of his business and that if he valued his life that he should stay away.
In any other circumstance he would have listened to the guards but in this one he just didn't have a choice. He had to head to the second floor. It was where his target was and if his plan went as according to the plan no one would know that he was up there.
Ghost headed down the corridor. He carried himself like he belonged in the building. When he approached a maintenance shaft he looked both ways making sure that the coast was clear then opened the door and stepped inside. There was a latter right in front of him leading up.
He climbed up, however he didn't stop on the second level but instead he headed up to the third floor. He cracked the door open and looked outside. There wasn't anyone in the hallway. He stepped out and headed down the hallway. He approached the stairs that headed down to the second level. He looked down to make sure no one was around then headed down.
He used the wall to make his way to the bottom step. He poked his head around the corner and saw two guards at the end. He took a couple of steps back up the stairs and opened the vent in the wall. It was large enough for him to fit inside so he did just that. He closed it behind himself and began to crawl down the vent. He passed a couple of rooms with occupants in it. He stayed very silent as he moved past them.
He continued crawling until he reached the last room. It was the one APRIL was staying in. He scanned the room quickly and didn't see her but he did hear the shower in the room going. He chuckled to himself and opened the vent. He crawled out of it and closed the vent behind himself. He heard the water stop so he quickly took cover in the closet.
From his point of view he could see a shadow moving in the bathroom then step out into the room. There were clothes laid out on the bed. He thought about jumping out and grabbing her but he decided it was a bad idea. At least the timing wasn't right yet. Plus, there was a show to watch.
Ghost watched as APRIL dried herself off then began dressing. He smirked to himself as he watched. Eventually she finished getting dressed and headed into the bathroom again. He moved out of the closet and took a seat on a chair that was in the room facing the bathroom. He waited for her to return.
After a couple of minutes she walked out and at first she didn't see him. She headed for the towel which she grabbed then realized there was someone in the room with her and she looked at him. He waved to her with a smile.
"What the hell....?" She asked but didn't expect an answer as she turned to rush to the door.
"I wouldn't do that." Ghost said as he pointed a weapon at her.
APRIL stopped and looked at him. She sighed and allowed the towel to drop to the ground. "I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised that you are here should I?"
Ghost shook his head. "I suppose not, you betrayed us."
"And now you've come to take care of me." APRIL filled in the rest of the sentence.
"Something like that..." Ghost responded.
"How noble of you...." APRIL said as she walked around the bed and in front of him. The whole time Ghost had the weapon trained on her.
"Why did you do it?" Ghost asked.
APRIL turned to face him. "Why did I do it...?" She smiled. "Because it was my job."
"You're job?" Ghost asked.
"Yes my job. I had been sent to infiltrate the agency and I did it. I was undercover for the Organization all this time. I was never one of you." APRIL responded.
"What Organization?"
"That doesn't matter right now. You will find out sooner or later." APRIL looked at him with a grin.
"Tell me...." Ghost insisted as he pointed the gun at her his hand on the trigger.
APRIL laughed. "You are going to kill me either way. It doesn't matter if I talk or not."
Ghost didn't say anything just watched her.
"But before you do one thing you should know is that we are everywhere. We know everything. There is no way to escape us and now we have the weapon that will rule the world." APRIL stated.
"I doubt that...." Ghost responded.
"You know, you can join me. You can work with me." APRIL said turning around to face him. She watched him then took a few steps closer to him. "We would make such a great team."
Ghost chuckled. "I'm not a traitor like you."
"Think what you like of me but wouldn't you want to be on the winning side."
"We shall see about that...." Ghost responded. There was a beeping noise that came from his pocket.
"What is that?" APRIL asked.
"Your ride." Ghost responded with a grin. He put the weapon down quickly. He grabbed her and pushed her out of the closed window. And he jumped after her. She would have a few broken bones at worse. The snow was deep enough to where it would soften the ground.
APRIL was in shock. She did not know what was going on. She tried to brace herself by putting her hands in front of her. She landed on the snow but ended up breaking her left wrist. Ghost on the other hand landed on the ground without a problem.
As APRIL was nursing her hand Ghost had quickly strapped her in. She looked at him as if wanting to know what was going on but before she could say anything he had pressed the button. The parachute shot up into the sky and pulled her up.
Ghost watched her head up for a few seconds as the plane came the front of it hooked onto the extraction system and pulled APRIL away. Ghost turned around. At this point the guards would know something was up so he pressed another button and a huge explosion came from the Administration building. He had set up some C4s in the armory.
