[USS Calypso - Deck 3 - VIP Quarters]

Sakura stepped off the lift and headed down the corridor. She had heard that Lumiya Onasi was aboard the vessel. She was aware that she was some high up in the Alliance government but she had not met her nor had she seen her. But she had heard about the fight that Morgan and Lumiya had gotten into in the transporter room and how James was shot. She had found it amusing to say the least. It wasn't everyday that these things happened aboard the Starfleet vessel. It made it a lot more entertaining.

Sakura stepped up to the door. There was a security officer on either side of the door. She nodded to them. She took a deep breath and chimed the door. While she waited for Lumiya to answer the door she grabbed the bottom of her uniform and pulled down on it. She wanted to be presentable. This was the first time she was meeting someone from the foreign government. She wanted to make a good impression.

Lumiya who had been in process of getting ready for bed looked up at the door as it chimed. She had not been expecting any visitors. She also didn't think that Delon would dare make another appearance into her quarters after the last time. She tied the robe in front and headed into the living room. "Enter."

The doors opened in front of Sakura. She quickly noted the woman standing in the middle of the room in her robe. She looked as if she was getting ready for bed. Sakura couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked as well. It was no wonder that Lt. Tovan had taken an interest in her.

"You know that is the type of reaction I usually get from the males." Lumiya said with a giggle as she walked over to the sofa and took a seat. She leaned back and crossed her legs looking at Sakura. "Please, come in."

Sakura blushed slightly. She didn't mean to stare but when the doors opened she froze. She didn't know why but she just did. She laughed nervously as she stepped in. The doors closed behind her. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you but we have picked up a transmission from the Alliance that doesn't make much sense. Lieutenant..."

"And Lieutenant Tovan wanted you to come and see if I might be able to tell you what the transmission means, right?" Lumiya jumped in before Sakura could finish her sentence.

"That's right ma'am." Sakura responded. She stepped forward with the PADD in her hand and handed it to Lumiya who was sitting down.

"Do me a favor..." Lumiya looked at Sakura. "Well, actually do me two favors. First, have a seat and second don't call me ma'am. That makes me sound very old and I'm not that old." She smiled at Sakura.

"Yes ma...Madam." Sakura caught herself as she was about to say ma'am once again. It had become a force of habit. She used it on a daily basis in Starfleet. She moved into an empty love seat and sat down.

Lumiya watched Sakura sit down than looked at the PADD. She pressed a few buttons on the PADD and the screen light up. The word Diamond presented itself on the screen. Lumiya put the PADD down and sighed. "It was only matter of time I suppose..."

Sakura noticed the reaction from Lumiya. It was obvious that Lumiya knew what the word meant and by her expression it didn't look like it was a good thing. "What does it mean...?"

Before Lumiya had a chance to respond to the query there was another chime at the door. Both women looked up at the door and Lumiya invited the person to enter into the quarters. The doors opened and Delon stepped into the quarters. He looked at Sakura than over to Lumiya. Before he could say anything Lumiya said.

"They have discovered that I have gone missing. I am surprised that it has taken them as long as it has to discover me missing." She leaned forward placing the PADD on the coffee table than leaned back in the sofa.

"So, what happens now?" Delon asked as he headed over to the replicator. It was starting to look like it might be a long night so he decided to have some raktajino.

Lumiya heard his order to the replicator. She uncrossed her legs got up from the sofa and headed over to the replicator. As she grabbed the mug of raktajino she walked up alongside him and grabbed it from him. "You don't need that. It will keep you up all night." She said as she placed it back in the replicator.

Sakura watched the quick exchange and couldn't help but giggle at what had just happened.

Delon stood there watching Lumiya as she had grabbed his raktajino and placed it back in the replicator. He was going to protest then he heard Sakura giggling so he looked at her. As soon as he looked at her she noticed it and stopped.

Lumiya grabbed Delon by hand and lead him over to the sofa. She forced him to sit down in the sofa than wondered back to the replicator and ordered some juice for all three of them. She walked back with the tray. After she had given each of them one she sat down in her pervious spot and crossed her legs again. "The will attempt to find me without disclosing the information that I have gone missing. If the public should find out that I have gone missing they might be thrown into a panic and we can't have that."

Delon leaned back in the sofa and looked at Lumiya. "What happens if they can't find you?"

"After 24 hours, the military will take control of the government." Lumiya responded as she took a sip of the juice that she had given each of them.

"Marital Law...?" Sakura asked.

"Exactly. The General of the Army receives temporary power in this case. He is tasked with finding me or anyone who is the leader at the time. He has 30 days to accomplish this task." Lumiya stated.

"What happens after 30 days?" Sakura asked.

"Well, if the leader is not found in the 30 days it is presumed that they have been killed. In which case the General returns the power to the council who elects the new leader..." Lumiya answered.

"What about the general? I assume that he returns to his position?"
Lumiya shook her head. "No, if the General fails to find the leader in the allowed time they are looked upon as a failure. They are stripped of their rank and power. In some cases, they are even executed."

Sakura looked at Delon. She couldn't believe what she was wearing from Lumiya. That was savaged of them.

"What if the General refuses to give up the power?" Delon asked

Lumiya shook her head. "I don't know. In has never happened. In the history of the Alliance no leader has been kidnapped. There have been several assassination attempts but they all have failed. So you Lieutenant Tovan will go down in history as the first person to successfully kidnap a leader of the Alliance."

"It's not one of my proudest moments." Delon stated before taking a sip of the juice that was provided from him by Lumiya after she had taken his coffee away from him.

"So, what do we do now?" Sakura asked.

"Nothing..." Delon stated. "We do nothing. Madam Onasi is here with us. We have 30 days to return her to her people; however I am hopeful that we won't need that time. Tomorrow we are going to hit couple of different outposts on the planet. We hope that Commander York will be at one of them. So if we should find her tomorrow, we can return you to your people than."

Lumiya didn't like the idea of being stuck in the quarters for 30 days but she was hopeful that they would be able to find Commander York at one of the outposts that Delon had just mentioned. Lumiya looked over at Sakura. "I would like to talk to Lieutenant Tovan in private."

Sakura looked over at Delon who nodded to her that it was okay than she got up. "Thank you for the juice." Sakura said than turned and left the quarters.

"She is a sweet girl." Lumiya said as she watched Sakura leave the quarters.

"She is a good officer." Delon stated as he looked at Lumiya curious to what exactly there was to discuss in private. "So, what did you want to talk to me about...?"

Lumiya didn't answer his query. She simply smiled at him leaning forward. She took his hand in hers and gently pulled him up as she stood up as well. She winked at him with a playful grin on her face.

"Just come with me, Lieutenant."
