"He insisted on seeing you my lady."

Lumiya turned her head towards the door and noticed Tovan dressed in his Starfleet uniform standing in the doorway. She knew that it was only matter of time before he came to visit her wanting to know what happened to his Commander and the Grand Marshall. She turned around looking at men that had gathered around a circular table. "If you will excuse me, this won't take long."

"My lady..."

Lumiya looked across the table at the General. "This won't take long general. And anyway we were already finished here. You have your orders." Lumiya turned her back on the table and headed towards Tovan. She walked past him and motioned for him to follow him down the hallway towards her office.

"I don't know what happened to your people, but I can tell you that it wasn't us who took them. I can also assure you that we are doing everything possible to track them down." Lumiya stated as the two of them headed down the hallway.

Tovan nodded. "I know that it wasn't you who took them."

Lumiya was surprised by his answer. She had half expected him to come here demanding to know where they had took them. He had continued to surprise her. Maybe that was part of the reason why she found him to be so fascinating. She stopped in front of a door and swung it open and stepped inside. "That is reassuring that you know that, but how if I may ask?"

"Whoever carried out the assault and kidnapping was obviously a professional. They had their movements perfectly planned and timed. They knew where their targets would be sitting. However, during the assault at the chamber they said to keep you safe on several occasions. That would be an amateur move and these guys were no amateurs." Tovan began explaining as they stepped into the office. He watched as she made her way to her desk and leaned on the front of it looking at him with her hands on the desk by her sides.

"So, what you are saying is that whoever carried this out wanted everyone in the room to believe that they were from the Alliance when in reality they really weren't. That's clever."

Tovan nodded as he watched her. He could tell she was nervous about all this because she knew what I meant that if everyone came knocking on her door blaming the Alliance for what had happened. "That's correct."

"Could it be that the Coalition planned it in order to frame the Alliance?" Lumiya asked. That was her first line of thinking. After being in war for so long it had became almost the norm to think that way that it was Coalition behind it.

"I thought about that but that doesn't seem like their style. They might be a lot of things but I don't think they would do such a thing as this." Tovan responded.

"Then you think that the Union did it?" Lumiya asked with a amused look on her face. "The Union couldn't have pulled such a thing..."

"Not on their own but with a little help they could have pulled it off." Tovan said. He walked around the desk and over to the window that was located behind the desk and the chair. IT was looking out into the court yard.

Lumiya watched him than pushed herself off the desk and turned around to see where he was standing. "Do you have any evidence of this...?"

Tovan sighed and shook his head. "No, I don't just a strong feeling."

"Union wants peace on the planet, they know that if Coalition stands blaming the Alliance that we will deny it because it's true that we don't have them but they won't believe us and this will turn into another war and I don't think this one could be stopped not by us or the Starfleet." Lumiya explained.

"I'm aware of this." Tovan said as he turned around to face her. "This is why I am here. I need your help to find the evidence and not only that but to find the Commander as well as the Grand Marshall, we need to stop this before it turns out into a full out assault."

"I don't know if I can help you." Lumiya said walking closer to Tovan. "I have bigger things to worry about."

"I know the Coalition troops have started to mobilize and that your own troops have too." Tovan said. "I hope to stop this before those troops meet each other. I know you don't want any more blood on your hands."

Lumiya looked at him. She shouldn't be surprised at his point that he was aware of what was going on but she still was slightly shocked how powerless they seemed to be against Starfleet. She thought about it for a moment. She wanted to believe him but found it hard too. She was taking a huge leap of faith here. She nodded after a few moments. "Alright...where do we begin...?"
