Sakura slammed her fist down onto the communications console in frustration. She said a few words in a strange language then threw her arms up and leaned back in the chair. She threw her head back looking to the ceiling for a moment than closed her eyes and began breathing slowly. She needed to calm down. She usually loved a really good challenge but this was proving to be a frustrating one.
She was almost 100% sure that there was some type of transmissions being sent between Coalition cities and bases across their territory. There was no way that they would be able to mobilize their military and all be on the same page without any transmissions. She just knew there had to be some, even if they were sending birds back and forth there had to be something.
She was stuck. She wasn't sure where to go from this point. She hadn't been able to make any progress on being able to detect these transmissions. She opened her eyes and looked to the ceiling. She needed a break. She needed to clear her mind of everything else. She needed to think outside the box.
She looked to the console and it seemed like it was mocking her, it was laughing at her. She shook her head. She decided that she needed to get a hold of herself. She was starting to lose it.
Eventually, she got up from the chair and headed over to the replicator. This was going to be her break. She needed something to calm her down. She decided that she needed to drink some tea. That always seemed to help her calm down and that's just what she needed.
The replicator complied with her order and materialized a warm sweat cup of tea. She grabbed it off the tray and smelled it. It seemed very sweat and minty. It was exactly what she needed. She took a sip, and then a couple of more until she realized that in matter of seconds she had almost sipped half the cup of warm tea.
She leaned onto the wall near the replicator with the cup of tea in her hands in front of her. She allowed the steam to travel up to her face. It was relaxing. She began imagining being inside a nice warm hot tub, just sitting back and relaxing. But her dream ended quickly when the doors to the communications opened. She looked over at them and noticed a golden uniform leaving the room.
She sighed realizing that she needed to get back to work. There were people that were counting on her and she wasn't about to let them down. She couldn't do that. She walked over to the console with the cup of tea in hand. She leaned on the chair and looked at her console as she sipped at her tea.
She watched the information being displayed than something inside her mind clicked as she watched the console. She had an idea. She quickly took a seat in her chair and placed the cup of tea aside and began working.
