Mission: Peace, or Something Like It
Location: Onasi Palace - Turkana IV
Timeline: Current

[Onasi Palace - Turkana IV]

At the designated time Tovan used the transporters from the Calypso to beam in to the front entrance of the palace. He was dressed in the Starfleet dress uniform. They had not discussed the dress code for this dinner when they made plans and as such he treated it as an official diplomatic dinner. He was still very unsure of what he was to expect once he got inside. He pulled on the bottom of his uniform jacket to straighten it out and began he walk up to the gate.

Meanwhile, back on the Calypso Morgan had set up a command center from which they could monitor the activity down below. At once console sat Sakura; she was monitoring all of the communication that was going in and out of the palace. They were being very careful about it not wanting to be detected. At the other console was James monitoring the life signs of Tovan and keeping a lock on him in case an emergency beam out was necessary. Morgan was present as well; she was monitoring the work that was being done.

Everything was going exactly how they expected it go. Tovan had walked up to the gate and checked in with the security guards at the front. They allowed him inside and that is when his support team had their first surprise.

"I've lost him." James called out to Morgan. His fingers moved across the console that he was in front of. He was attempting to get a lock back on but he was failing. It was as if they had all of a sudden jammed their signal.

"What do you mean you lost him?" Morgan sat up from her chair and rushed over to where James was. She looked over his shoulder at the console as he worked.

"It's as if they have engaged a jamming device. One moment he was there, and the next he was gone." James explained as he kept working.

"But we didn't detect any jamming device when we did our scans..." Morgan said looking at James. "Right...?" Her worry was that James might have missed it, but that wasn't like him. He might be a joker and like to be childish but he was serious when it came to work. At least she hoped she was right about that.

"Ma'am, we have also lost all of the communication traffic. They are blocking us for sure." Sakura added from her own console.

"Try to raise him..." Morgan ordered.

"I have been ma'am, but nothing. We can't establish a communication with the Lieutenant." Sakura responded. That was the first thing that she did when the communication went down. She attempted to raise him couple of times but each time it went unanswered.

"Damn it!"

While the support team aboard the Calypso was trying to figure out what was going on Tovan had walked up the path to the front door. He was greeted by another man at the front door that nodded and smiled to him before opening the door for him. They had been expecting him.
When Tovan stepped into the building he found himself in a rather large open room with two pair of stairs in front of him that lead up to the second level, on each side there where hallways that lead deeper into the palace along with white doors.

And then he noticed Lumiya making her way down the stairs with a smile on her face. She wasn't wearing her formal outfit that she had on earlier in the day instead she was in a purple dress that was very tight on her showing off each curve of her body and her exposing her cleavage that she had been hiding earlier. The dress had a slit down the right side of her leg so as she walked her bare skin flashed for a moment. She was an attractive woman and wasn't afraid to show it off. "Welcome to my home." She said as she approached Tovan with a smile.

"Thank you." Tovan responded with a smile on his face. He decided that he could be just a bit less formal than he was before. "This is for you..." Tovan brought up a box from his hand. "I was hoping we could have it during dinner this evening."

She smiled at him grabbing it from him. She gently opened the top and found that inside was a bottle with blue liquid of sort. "Romulan Ale, it's been a while since I have any of it." She smiled at him. "Thank you very much." She handed it to the man that greeted him at the front door and the man disappeared down one of the hallways. "Excuse me for a moment."

Tovan raised an eye brow as he watched her pull out something front her bra. It was a small communication device from what he noted. She pressed a button on it and then he heard the words. "You can turn off the jamming device now." Tovan was caught. They knew exactly what they were doing and they wanted them to know that they knew. He watched as she turned around and smiled at him.

"I'm sorry about that." She said as she motioned for him to follow her. She lead him up the stairs and into one of the chambers that had a balcony.

Back on the Calypso the team was still trying to figure out what was going on, that was until the jamming device was turned off down on the planet and all of their systems were working once again.

"I have him." James said with excitement in his voice as he watched the screen. The life sign he was monitoring earlier was back on the screen now and he seemed to be inside the palace.

"The communications are back online as well." Sakura called out.

"Signal him..." Morgan ordered. Sakura nodded complying with the order. She signaled Tovan, and a few seconds passed until there was an answer.

"Everything is alright Lieutenant, you may stand down." Tovan responded.

Morgan smiled to herself and the rest of the team did as well as she took her seat. He might have told them to stand down but she knew better than that. They were going to continue to monitor him. The only problem was that the Alliance knew now and they could cut them off at any moment. They needed to find a way to be able to get through the jamming device.
