[From the previous post..."Night Cap, Part I"]
"So tell me, what are you in the mood for right now...?" Tovan asked. He was being a lot more forward tonight than he has been so in the past. It was rather fun to ask someone these questions to see their reaction and also to hear what they had to say..
[The Conclusion]
[USS Calypso - Deck 9 - Tovans Quarters]
Shalie took this opportunity to push herself into a standing position. "At this current moment...not this chair or these boots." She used the arm rest of the chair as balance to remove the leather shoes before moving over towards Delon on the couch. she settled in near the far armrest, "Awww....that is much better." She said with a cocky grin.
Delon raised an eye brow ever so slightly as he watched her with a grin on his face. She was avoiding the question to a certain degree. He did answer him but she knew what he meant. He decided not to push the subject any further at the moment. "I find those chairs rather uncomfortable myself, I was thinking of maybe changing them out before we leave the starbase."
"That would be a good idea I think..." Shalie said very matter of fact. Deciding to turn the table on him she posed the same question she had avoided. "So how about you? What is your type? Other then tidy..."
"I like green." Tovan said with a serious look on his face as he turned to face her. A few moments later he winked at her with a smile. "Well, it just depends on my mood I guess." He decided to use her own words.
Shalie smiled as she used her hands to motion to herself. "Well of course...who doesn't like green" She finished with a laugh. Deciding to make herself more comfortable, she planted her left foot on the cushion as she tucked her right ankle beneath her. She rested her chin on her knee before asking her next question. "So then...what kind of mood are you in at this moment?"
Delon had a very strong feeling that once he told her it was depending on the mood that she would follow that question up by asking just what kind of mood he was in at the moment. There was an answer to that but he wasn't sure that he should say it. "Well, at the moment I am rather content with just sitting here, enjoying your company."
Shalie smiled when he became hesitant once again. She shook her head, "Tsk tsk tsk..." She said before returning her head to rest on her knee. She kept her eyes on him. "There you go, not telling me everything again..." A knowing smile crossed her lips.
He titled his head to the side a little bit looking at her. "I might tell you one day." He winked at her and then leaned back against the arm rest still keeping his eyes on her. "So, where you station before here?"
"The USS Marianne..." Shalie said as she kept her eye on Delon with a smile. "Boarded there after I left training...started an an Operations Officer...a year and a whole lot of complaining later I got a position in Engineering...was there until two days ago when the ship was decommissioned."
"Complaining?" Tovan said with a puzzled tone in his voice. He had an idea of why she might have complied. The work they do isn't always the most entertaining or interesting. She had said something along those lines before but he just wanted to be sure.
Shalie laughed at his puzzlement. "No offense to present company..." She started. "But Ops is more paperwork then I like...too much about requisition forms and not enough about fixing stuff."
"And you are the type that likes to get her hands dirty. I understand." Tovan leaned his head back on the back of the sofa looking out the window that was located behind the sofa. "You know, it's not all that bad. But it's not as hands on as engineering."
"I never said it was complete hell..." Shalie said with a laugh as she pushed on Delon's shoulder. "It is just when you use your job as a distraction, filing paperwork isn't that helpful." She gave him a side glance as she posed her own question. "So what is it about Ops that you love?"
Delon looked at her once she pushed him and smiled. But soon enough is expression changed as he looked at her with a serious look. "I would have to say what I love about Operations is the paperwork." He waited to see her reaction.
Shalie laughed, "Ok my mood may be changing." She playfully moved herself as far from him as she could get on the couch. "Well then we both get to do what we like." She finished as she moved back to her original position.
He kept his serious expression for a few more minutes before smiling at her. As she got up to move into her old position he leaned forward grabbing her by her hand and pulling her back onto the sofa except for she didn't land on the sofa but on him.
Shalie felt Delon's hand before she was pulled backwards. She smiled as she let herself land on his lap. She looked at him for a moment before she leaned forwards pressing her lips to his. She held it there for a moment before she pulled back smiling. "I would apologize...but I am not sorry."
A bit of a surprise that she had landed in his lap, but there was not going to be any complaints for him. Before he could say anything about it her lips were on his and they shared a kiss. All he could do was close his eyes and enjoy. When she pulled away his eyes opened about half way as he looked at her. He leaned forward whispering. "I don't want an apology...but I do want another one of these..." His hand had gently moved up to stroke her cheek as his lips pressed on hers, a bit harder this time as he kissed her.
"Took you long enough..." Was Shalie's only reply before she was once again kissing Delon. One hand was placed on his chest as she returned his kiss while the other moved to his pony tail. She looped a finger in the loop before pulling it almost forcefully, tossing it behind her.
During their evening together, there had been a several instances in which Delon had thought about doing just this, but for whatever reason it never happened. His eyes remained closed as he wanted to make the most of this moment. His fingers that were stroking her cheek moments ago had moved to the back of her neck. He had titled his head ever so slightly, parting his lips and invited her tongue to play with his.
Shalie hummed contentedly as she adjusted her position skillfully without breaking the kiss. She had a knee on either side of his hips as her fingers made their way into his newly freed hair. Her tongue teased the tip of his as her tightened her grip on his hair.
In a slow motion, Delon moved backwards to where he was fully leaning back on the sofa. In this same motion he pulled her forwards towards him so their kiss didn't break. His fingers had been running through her hair lightly but now his hands moved down her sides, over her hips and down her legs that rested on each side of him. He moved back up but this time instead of returning up her sides his fingers stopped at the hem of her shift lightly messing with it.
Shalie moved with Delon as she felt his hand move. She smiled as she felt him toying with her shirt. She used the grip on his hair to pull his head back as she moved her lips to his jaw. Nibbling and kissing her way to his ears. She purred softly, as sucked the spongy skin between her lips biting it softly.
There was an obvious sign of pleasure and enjoyment on his face as she began to nibble on his ear. It was a very sensitive area for him, and it had a very powerful effect on him. His hands had moved slowly under her shirt and began to creep up along her sides. He could feel the soft smooth skin under his finger tips as he moved up closer to her chest area. This was an unexpected turn of events, but neither of them seemed to mind as they became lost in their lust and pleasure.
