[Hart's Quarters]
After arriving in his quarters by the transporter, Jason was glad to be "home" in his quarters. He wasn't too fond of being the patient in sickbay as it bruises his ego. He likes to be in control and not be vulnerable of his life. He became a patient after he was electrocuted by the replicator. Doctor Bowen decided that it was okay for him to rest in his quarters, but she ordered a nurse to check up on him later. He wanted to turn that down of having a nurse in his quarters, as he wanted the doctor herself. He likes her.
He strode over to his dresser and pulled out some clothes that would make him feel comfortable, as he was still in sickbay clothes that patients wear. Jason removed it and tossed it on the floor. He quickly slipped his shirt over his head, his legs into brown khaki pants, and picked up a belt off the dresser, to put it around his waist.
At the mirror, he studied himself. "I'm fine...I feel fine. I'm not going to lay in bed all day," he grunted. "You should go out with me, doctor...no, that doesn't sound right." He continued to stare at himself, practicing his speech. "Would you like to go out on a date with me? No...Do you mind having a small drink with me, Leanne? Hope it is okay for me to call you by that name..."
Jason got tired of the mirror. He fluffed his hair a little and left his quarters to the holodeck.
[Holodeck]
At the panel, he worked around the data to create the program for five minutes. By the time the doors opened, it revealed a beach with a table in the middle with two chairs, food and silverware on the table with a bottle of champagne. The atmosphere appears to be clear and warm. In the distance, the ocean is rocking the water back and forth with a small crashing sound of water against the rocks.
He closed his eyes for a moment to savor the sound, the smell of salt in the air, and the feel of the sun on his face; remembering that he once have visited when he was in San Francisco near the Golden Gate Bridge. He is originally from South Dakota and came to attend Starfleet Academy. It was his first time seeing the beach.
Jason stood there for a minute before he opened his eyes. He asked the computer for the time and realized that it is the end of Doctor Bowen's shift. Should I call her? He was thinking of other options to get her down here. He doesn't want to make it look like a kidnapping thing, but a social get-together.
An idea popped in his head. "Computer, remove the table and chairs and save it."
The beach appeared empty now.
He removed his shirt and laid on the sand. First, he thought about going swimming to create a body hypothermic or low body temperature, but decided not to as it sounds silly. Second, he thought of fighting some aliens to collect some bruises as an excuse to call the doctor, but he would get in trouble if he lowered the holodeck safety. This time, he will have to pretend.
I think I'm going crazy here...I like her, he thought as he stared at the blue sky. I guess I'm too afraid to approach her to ask and rather do it when she is alone. "Computer, raise the temperature to 37.77 Celsius."
"Acknowledged"
He felt his sweat pores open up for his body to sweat. After five minutes, he called the computer to lower it to the normal temperature. If he is going to pretend of having an abdominal pain, he wanted the sweating part to make it look real.
He touched his combadge from his shirt pocket and changed his voice to be melodramatic, "Doctor Bowen, I need help...I'm having really bad stomachaches and I can't move...I'm in holodeck one."
