Picking up her toolkit, Kalyka headed to the door of engineering. Her racquetball match with Karma had left her a little sore in the legs, but not nearly as sore as it left him. Kajinski met her near the door. The young Russian was always ready to work.

"Ready to go to work, Natasha?" Kalyka asked with a smile.

"Da. Let's just get it done. I hate plants. They make me sneeze."

Kalyka shook her head at the woman's remark as they walked to the arboretum. Once inside, sure enough, Kajinski's eyes started watering and she started to sniff. "I'll start on the right side of the door, you start on the left, and we'll meet somewhere on the back wall."

"Understood."

Kalyka was halfway enjoying herself, working among the plants like she did when she was a girl. It brought back memories of Bajor and the family farm. She was almost done with the third one on the side wall when a bug landed on her hand. She looked at it, but couldn't identify it. It has large, flat colorful wings and odd shaped antennae on it. It was beautiful. She watched as it flew to her nose touched it and flew away. She thought about the bug the entire time she worked on the holoemitters.

When she reached the last wall, she told Kajinski about it, but wasn't prepared for her reaction. "Stupid bugs. I had a bee come up to me." She packed up her toolkit and left. Kalyka watched her go, but saw the same insect land on a Peruvian rose on the path out, almost kissing the center of the flower.
