Engineering a trip to the brig

Mission: Transitions
Location: Engineering.

Lorne stepped into Engineering. He wasn't armed with a Bat'telh. Just a slug-throwing weapon. He had no intention of using it to harm anyone.

He entered Engineering, rather annoyed, and completely willing to show it.

He drew his gun, and fired two blank cartridges in the air.

"LIEUTENANT JUNIOR GRADE KALYKA MERAL! YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!" Lorne said, in the angriest, and most annoyed voice possible.

Kalyka looked over at him warily and walked over. She didn't like the weapon being brought into her engine room, especially as there were no enemies there. "You needed something, lieutenant? And why do you have a weapon in my engine room? There are no enemies here to fight." She said all this politely and with a small smile on her face. It took a lot to ruffle her feathers.

"When Security sends a 'priority repair request', could you explain why, over the course of an hour, not a single engineer comes near the damn issue?" Lorne asked.

Raising her eyebrows, she asked., "When was it sent in?"

"An. Hour. Ago." Lorne clarified. "Two people have been injured. Holodeck Security failures. One of them was the Commanding Officer. Any of these reports sounding the slightest bit familiar?"

A corner of her mouth quirked up. "Actually, yes, I fixed it 45 minutes ago. Is there anything else that you needed fixed?"

"That's great. Next time, tell someone, so people don't come into your department, firing percussion weapons, and getting frustrated. If you'll excuse me, I do have some paperwork to deal with now." Lorne said, shaking his head.

He decided some people were just out to piss him off.
