Mission: What Lies Beneath?
Location: Star Fleet Headquarters
Timeline: Prior to the mission start

Nava sat in her office, she was basically shuffling papers and looking at some of the Diplomatic updates that were being presented in the near future. She was only semi interested in them. Nava was getting bored and needed some excitement and that usually meant shopping or a business deal. Rule of Acquistion 64: Don't talk shop, talk shopping.

Nava stood up and prepared to leave as it was the end of her duty shift, when the Chief Diplomat paged her =^=Nava, report to my office immediately.=^= Nava looked at the comm badge attached to her uniform and sighed before responding =^=On my way Commander.=^= Nava walked over to the door and walked in.

Commander Davis Grissham was looking at a PADD in front of him. Nava came to attention in front of the desk. Grissham looked up "Nava, your request for transfer has been approved. You're to report to the USS Orion as their Chief Diplomat. There is a shuttle that will be taking you to their location tomorrow morning at 1000 hours."

Nava looked at the Commander "Are you sure?" She asked almost to happy to hear this. She had enjoyed her time at Star Fleet Command and had learned a great deal, but she was ready to spread her wings. "I'll be ready sir." She said with a large grin.

Nava was actually at the shuttle pad at 0930 too excited to remain in her quarters. It hadn't taken long for her to pack her things and get ready to go. She sent a message to her parents and told thme about her new assignment

Promptly at 1000 hours, the shuttle departed and headed for the Orion. It was a two day trip to the Orion's location. Nava found herself fidgeting in nervousness and excitement. What was this going to be like. She also had time to ponder how the Captain would feel about having a Ferengi for a Chief Diplomatic officer.

48 hours later, Nava saw the Orion come into view and the pilot obtained clearance to dock. Nava stood at the door and waited for the green light to step into her newest acquistion, Chief Diplomatic Officer.
