Time To Go Home?

Jayna felt much better. Her broken bones were healed and she really wanted to get back to her quarters and to work. The one thing she lacked was the official word from the doctor.

She sat up and looked around for someone who could give her some answers.

Jemnar Softtouch was sensing the movement and emotional projections hanging around the patient. He walk over with a grin and started to move his hands in a flurry of motions.

[I get the feeling you are restless?] The human like voice was almost melodic and soothing as it translated the hand motions. [If you will give me a moment I will see if I can find the Doctor for you?] The voice continued as he made hand signals.

Jayna smiled. "Yes. I want to be released so I can go back to my quarters. Where is Logan?"

[I am not sure, we have a bit of a situation.] His hands moved in all sorts of patterns in front of him. [I will give a notification to Logan once I find you a doctor.] Softtouch assured and smiled.

"Thank you. What sort of situation?"

[We broke orbit for a time and now we have come to an abrupt stop.] His hands motioned as the UT voice gave the words. [Everyone is at Alert Stations.]

"And the Horus?" she asked. "Did they come back before we left?" She didn't sense Logan's presence and he wasn't there with her. That meant he had to be somewhere else. "How soon can I be released?"

[I am sorry.] Jemnar signed and the well toned Tenor voice of his translator relayed. [I can only say that we have stopped and there is little more that I know. I am just a nurse but I will see what I can find out?]

Jemnar checked her Bio readings as he put through a request for information.

[I do not see the Horus as meeting with the Calypso] Jemnar relayed. [There is only a shuttle landing and we are under repair from what took out to warp.] He explained. ] Checking her charts before he continued. [You are recovering well and I have a confirmation from the Doctor that with these readings being completed you can be released to 'light duty' which means no physical straining for at least three days. Normal activity only] He read the report. [If any dizziness of other out of the ordinary symptoms happen report back to us immediately.] Jamnar smiled. [Aside from that I can have a nurse replicate a uniform and release you to limited Duty.] He winked. [I will have a nurse get you clothes and put of a screen for privacy ]

Jayna smiled. "At least I can sleep in my own bed. "Even if Logan wouldn't be there with her. "Thank you. I promise to take it easy for a few days." She had a lot of reading to catch up on, and she wnated to talk to Logan...

When her clothes came, she dressed quickly and headed out the door before the doctor changed his mind.
