Mission: Point of View

ON

Munich was using the halls and the Jefferies to get around, he had to get to Engineering in short order from the Bridge. His hands were a bit on the worn side despite the calluses from his martial training. He had a good handle on the damage control end of things so he could be of use.

Decks were a dangerous place to be for sure; he stuck to the tubes as much as is possible. Running along the corridors until he saw the first sight of trouble, the man in the black pajamas; some kind of a Ninja stepped out to hinder Munich's path slowly drawing a sword in a menicing fashion. Speaking in slow Japanese Munich saw the challenge in his path; the options that were his comparing the computerized Ninja to his own Capoeria, he felt he could take the Ninja as it was still only computer controlled.

"No two-day you Svine." Munich saw his best option the plate to the Jeffery, the emitters did not go there so into the tubes he went.

[Engineering]

"Vhat kind ov mess are ve getting into here?" Munich came out on the Main Engineering deck, his jacket open and about to be shucked just for ease of movement.

[Sickbay]

Victoria, along with her staff in Sickbay as well as Arnon had worked hard to keep incoming patients calm and healed while attempting to isolate the Medical computers from the main computer. Victoria was grateful for Galen's help in that regard. She had never been a big fan of the EMH Program but Galen was proving to be an invaluable asset to her department. Currently, she sat on the edge of her desk in her office, taking a small break, watching her department work. From the injuries, it sounded like the ship was turning itself inside out. There had even been a case of a ensign getting attacked by vicious little green creatures with sharp teeth, claws, and big pointed ears that the ensign referred to as Gremlins. "I should have stayed in retirement," she said to herself in amusement.

Arnon was finishing up treating a patient.

"It was awful, Doctor," the man said. "It was as tall as me and white with beady pink eyes and it kept saying 'I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date!' Everywhere I went, it kept appearing, when it wasn't chasing me through the corridors. I must have tripped and hit my head or something because I woke up here in Sick Bay!"

"There, there, young man," Arnon said in a soothing tone. "It's all over. You're perfectly safe here. I've treated the injury, but you should try and take it easy for a few days..."

The young man interrupted Arnon.

"OH MY GODS!" he shouted. "THERE IT IS AGAIN!"

At that moment a human-sized white rabbit in a three piece suit paused in front of the now open doors of the Calypso's Sick Bay.

"I'm late!" said the White Rabbit. "I'm late! For a very important date!"

"Oh my," Arnon said after the White Rabbit had moved on. "That is disturbing. Perhaps we should set up a few appointments to talk about..."

And then Arnon realized he was talking to himself because his patient had fainted to the floor. Arnon sighed.

"Corpsman," he said the young woman who had been assisting him. "Perhaps you and one of the others could find somewhere for this unfortunate young man to rest? Thank you."

Arnon saw Victoria sitting on her desk and walked over.

"That particular hologram wasn't my fault," he said with a smirk. "At least I hope it was a hologram. Otherwise everyone of Terran Dutch descent on the ship is going to think that someone has cursed them with a curse from their homeland: May you be snuffled by rabbits!"

Victoria chuckled. "Only the scantily-clad, jealous ones are your doing," she winked.

Arnon chuckled right along with Victoria.

"Could have been worse," he said. "The White Rabbit could have been scantily clad...anyway, how are you holding up? Business, as they say, is booming. Is there anything I can do to help that I'm not doing?"

As far as Arnon could sense, she was holding up fairly well. Her emotional and physical stress levels were up and she was starting to get fatigued, but nothing out of the ordinary. However, this pace could not be kept up forever.

Victoria smiled at Arnon. He had been a tremendous help to her and her department. "I'm fine. Thank you for your help," she grabbed his hand. "If you want to go and check on your staff, you can. I believe we can handle things from here."

"Goodness!" Arnon said. "We were so busy, I didn't even think to look after my staff!"

Arnon tapped his commbadge.

"Barak to Ileos," he said. "Markos, what is your status?"

=^=Ileos here,=^= came the reply. =^=I've been helping out the corpsman, helping to stabilize patients so they can either get to Sick Bay on their own or be safely transported there. I could have sworn I told one of them to let you know I was alright. Nobody said anything?=^=

Arnon frowned, shrugged, then laughed.

"We've been a bit busy here," he said. "I'm surprised your message didn't get to me. Have you seen Teenah? Ensign Spartacus? Come to think of it, I haven't heard from her either."

=^=I haven't, Doctor,=^= Markos replied. =^=I think I can leave what I'm doing to others now. I'll see if I can track her down for you.=^=

"Thank you, Markos," Arnon said. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

=^=Neither do I, Doctor,=^= Markos replied. =^=My best to Doctor Drani. Ileos out.=^=

Arnon chuckled.

"I guess Markos will once again save the day," he said.

The appearance of the holographic anomaly in sick bay had Galen concerned. Although her systems were generally isolated from the main system, she still required their use. At least her own visual protocols were under her complete control. She continued to assist the staff as best she could, relieving them when they needed a break. She made no distinction between the duties of a doctor and the duties of a nurse; wherever help was needed she filled the role.

Along with this latest development in the computer's abnormal behavior, Galen found that there was an ever-increasing amount of requests from the main computer to 'test' her holographic systems. She denied each, but the computer kept trying to access her protocols. Each time she shut it out, the computer would try again with a different pathway or command. The computer's probing seemed almost...intelligent. Galen pondered over this new data while setting a fracture of the left tibial shaft. The man looked at her warily, still sweating even though the analgesics had taken affect.
