Logan growled loudly as he gripped onto one side of the table and flung it to the side, slamming it against the wall. His claws quickly retracted as he narrowed his eyes and looked down at Li as if ready to strike. "And those lives would be on your head. Is there no way to change your mind?"

"No, so you might as well kill me now," Li said.


[NEW]

Logans growl grew deeper from the response. As he narrowed his eyes he spoke. "You've made your bed. Now, you lie in it. You're not our problem anymore." Slowly his claws retracted into his hands and the large Caitian stood straight up. His growling began to grow soft until it was completely gone. "Horus: Beam Li Kara back to the transport buffer. Primary Command: Logan, Beta, One."

As the look of surprise appeared on Remy's face, Li Kara was beamed out of the interrogation room and back into Horus's transport buffer. The small Intel Chief was not amused as he walked over to Logan and shouted. "Mister Logan. What is the meaning-"

"Shut up!" Logan yelled abruptly as he stayed his back towards the two. His a growl began in his throat, but the large Caitian did his best to calm himself and stop it from forcing him into a frenzy. "She is not going to tell us anything. Li Kara has chosen her fate. In her mind death is the only way out. She's made up her mind."

"I gave you a direct order, Mister Logan. And when I give an order I expect you to follow it." Remy said sternly.

"You gave me an order that was emotionally driven." Logan replied quickly as he turned to Remy and stepped toward him, forcing the little man to take a step back. "Your judgement was compromised, and as second leader of our team, I made my own decision and choose to disobey because following that order would put both of us in a bad position. I made the call and so now its my problem. Get mad at me for disobeying if you have to, I don't care, but I'll do it again if I have to. For the good of the team."

Remy just stood there looking up at his Caitian companion and nodded his head. He couldn't help but smile inside, seeing Logan control himself and how he did what Remy had been doing since they met. Protecting his friend. "Noted, Mister Logan."

The Large Caitian looked over to Damion. Damion gave Logan a nod, before the Caitian walked toward the door and finally out of the Interrogation room. Hopefully to catch Jayna to explain what he just did.

"You want me to toss him in the brig?" Damion asked Remy softly.

Remy watched Logan leave and than looked over to Damion as he grabbed the bottom of his uniform top, pulling it downward as he spoke. "Why? You said it yourself. He's a civilian, right? disobeying an order is his choice. What am I doing to do? Court Martial him?" He let out a soft chuckle and placed his hands behind his back. "You can't toss the man into the brig for having free will, Mister Wolfe."

Damion smiled slightly and shook his head. "Of course not. That would just be crazy."

[Corridor]

Jayna was in no hurry to get back to Horus. She was worried about what was going on in the interrogation room, but something in Logan's demeanor gave her confidence in him, at least. The other two she wasn't so sure about.

As Jayna stepped into the turbolift, Logan stepped in next to her. The large Caitian faced forward and placed his hands at his sides, clearing his throat slightly. "So, I'm thinking Chinese tonight. How about you? Maybe a movie. Remy has been on me to watch something called Labyrinth. Sounds complicated. What do you think?"

"I think both sound perfect. As long as Remy doesn't mind if I choose to cuddle you during the movie. He gets a little tetchy about PDA." She took a deep breath and turned to look at Logan. "What happened?"

"She's in pieces." Logan paused for a moment before adding. "In.. the buffer. Not the floor." He said with a bit of a smirk, knowing how it would have sounded had he not corrected himself. "I decided, since she wasn't going to cooperate, the best thing to do would be to put her back in the buffer till Max sends someone to get her. Remy and Wolfe aren't thinking clearly. Both of them are personally involved. Remy wants to get to Morat because of Tate. Wolfe wants to get to Morat because of Lancaster and Vance. Both are them are too thick to realize that Li Kara isn't going to tell them anything and they are going to cross whatever line it takes to get the info they need. So.. Remy might not be joining us. Which means, feel free to cuddle as much as you want. Not so sure about Spock though. He might want to PDA too."

Jayna looked at him for a long moment, then smiled. "Have I told you lately how much I love you?" She put her hands on his cheeks and kissed him. "That was a brilliant solution. And I agree with you about Remy and Wolfe. They're too close to the situation to think rationally. You, my love, were the knight in shining armor. So, we'll have Chinese, watch a movie and cuddle. Spock is welcome to join us."

Logan smirked slightly as he answered. "If I say no will you tell me again anyway?" He placed his arm around her and brought her close, kissing the top of her head as a soft purr escaped his throat. "It was the best thing I could think of at the time. Putting her back in the buffer seemed to be better than leaving her in a cell. Horus is secured and has built in protocols that both you, and I, put into place to keep anyone who isn't part of our dysfunctional Intel family. To be honest, its actually the safest place she can be in right now." He let out a sigh and took a hold of her hand as the turbolift doors opened. "Well, enough about work. Let's go see what this Labyrinth has to offer. If things get too complicated you can talk me through it."
