"Hurry up..." Suddenly he was using the Quick, quick Slide of the rear leg to end the turn, the explosive energy of the up coming music flooded all that moment and as the words had said the moment was over as he took her to the dance again.
NEW
"Hurry up..." He took her with him into a pivoting spin again with energy to match the sudden rise in the words belted out while he made a second elegant spin with breathless abandon.
Michelle let her left hand move off the shoulder of her partner and flow behind her in the pivoting spin, moving with the energy of the rise slowly bringing her arm back into place for the second more elegant spin, holding herself in her position to carry through the spin.
"There's no more waiting..." He used these words to break into more of a tango like step of the two moving forward; heads turned to see the path ahead and cheek to cheek as is with all those more passionate types of a dance. The feet and legs moved interwoven with the tempo setting the speed of the steps, he seemed to know where her footfalls would be; he let her be as close as she felt safe to do to the last word then with a center point of his own feet; the most forward move he could make was to gently but quickly lift her and make it a sweeping motion to place her ever so gently back to her feet planted on the floor again pointed in the opposite direction.
The tango like stage started; cheek to cheek and almost pure passion, the steps were perfect and in sync to both the tempo and each other. Michelle was in as close as she dared, truly enjoying the dance and who was in it with her. As soon as he lifted her Michelle did a soft mid air split through to being put back down, in form and in the opposite direction.
"We're still worth saving..." Was what sang to them as they moved back in the direction they came to the center point of the dance floor again.
Before the woman could realize he had her in another series of the alternating pivot turns for the duration of the chorus. He danced with an abandon that is only when art meets emotion; this step was his; he fed off her joy and it allowed him to soar through the piece; to match her movements as he heard them before she put them into motion from her body; the concentration that hung in the air was like the ambient temperature and the style of dance just flowed together again.
They came back to the centre point and as they did it as an almost instant launch into the pivot turns, alternating who was the centre point. "Feel the Light" was about the most of the lyrics that Michele heard of the chorus. On her own turns where He was her pivot she would lean out, lift a leg, having all sorts of fun and beaming the whole time. Her steps were tight and placed perfectly, she was even able to kick a heel up on some of the turns. Her hair danced behind her through the turns, flicking here and there. Michelle would roll her head around and was really getting into the movement. They seemed to breeze through the second verse and chorus, it was as though time was standing still but the song kept marching in for them alone.
"Shining like the stars tonight..." The words were inspiring Softtouch a bit as he took more assertive in his dance, he took it upon himself to dip her ever so slightly as the words were coming around he leant towards her to have the dip from that right to the left and allowing her to have the arch of her back in that way that supported her enough that she could raise her arms as she was lowered and bring them back down as he brought her back up again.
Michelle felt the dip and went with it, gracefully the arms went back almost like the aim was to skim the floor. Her back was arched nicely in his arms; she was having fun and the white dress showed off every curve of her figure and just how true the motion was. The day had been long, her workmates had been relentless in their tyraid and constant pestering; now all of that was a dim memory, and she was happy for it. Letting her outside leg slide up his own a little in the dip. Not exactly dancing to choreography allowed for so much more in showing emotion and possibilities. If this was a real dancer so many things could be implied. her heart was thumping away; part of that was the efforts of the dance, but was there a little more in it?
"Remember what we forgot..." Softtouch had this for the he being the center point of the full spin; looking into her eyes as he allowed the gravity of the dancing twirl for her to be at the full extion of his arm holding her as she could arch herself again slightly for the sheer artistic effect of the dance with his hand placed gently but firmly at the small of her back to keep her from falling or being taken too far from him.
Reading the cues Michelle set into the spin; much like the ballerinas that could be found in an Earth Music Box she kept the hand that was at the full extension to be higher and the opposite arm to be lower, letting one foot stay off the floor as she turned with a nice arch to her back as she kind of looked up to the sky. "I know it's a long shot" She came out of the spin and used it to roll along the extension of his arm and back out again. "But We're brining it all back" Michelle started to move in an arc around her partner at the full extension, a few steps then a spin, a few more steps then a spin; going through a full rotation before coming back in to a position to dance a couple more steps close to him. "We're bringing it all back."
There was a warmth to her and a look in the eyes. *God bless the Holodeck, and the programmers too!* she thought to herself, close and in form. *Wonder what he will do for a finale....* she pondered, smiling; inside and out. *if he dips me, even tango dips me....* A feeling of glee added to the warmth and high heart rate. *Dip me and I'll kiss you!*
"Here we Go..." Softtouch danced the counter clockwise rotation of Michelle being the center point and he went around her.
"Here we go..." This is a clockwise turn of Michelle being the one to go around Softtouch.
