Feel better now 4th steps

Mission: Of Gods and Men
Location: Holodeck 3

OLD

"Here we go..." This is a clockwise turn of Michelle being the one to go around Softtouch.

NEW

"Feel better now..." He brought her close to him and they danced in a slow circle clockwise. "Feel better now..." The next rotation of the dance slightly slower.
 
The rotations and changes was a good chance to look into his eyes, soak in the moment and it felt good. Slowing down off of the peak of the dance and almost drawing her in.
 
"Here we go." The subtle hint the motion was for her to pirouette as he walked clockwise around her. "Here we go" he switched hands to move counter clockwise.
 
A subtle dancer's hint to step into a pirouette, not quite as easy in heels but still accomplish-able. She span letting her head tilt back and having fun with the movement, her dress seemed to delight in every moment almost tickling at her legs between the spins.
 
"It's better now." The tempo was slowing as she sang, Softtouch moved into her and with a slow mutual spin while he gazed into her eyes.
 
"Feel Batter Now..." The song was slowing to a conclusion as he lowered her in a smooth dip, following her half way, his right arm supporting her as the left arm was in the air behind them as the two froze in that final bars of the song faded from the echo surrounding them. 
 
He held her there for a long moment it seemed, a satisfied smile upon his face as he gave her a wink for the Artistic affect.
 
A mutual spin and a nice slow dip, akin to a tango or some other more intimate a routine, supported and hanging for a moment as the silence filled the space. Her heart felt like it was mid routine and yet it had come to an end, she almost didn't want to be brought back up.
 
After the silence that did not last all that long he brought her ever so slowly back to her feet again. Slowly, slowly she was brought back up to him again, She flicked one leg up; almost to sit at the calf of his outside leg, The arms came up and wrapped around his shoulders, actually pulling him in, not truly tight but the intent was there. Her head rolled up, foreheads touching for a brief moment. She pulled back to look into his eyes before letting her own close over, bridging the gap to kiss him; soft, sweet, showing gratitude and some passion.
 
There was a desire that came off her like a wall; Softtouch was swept in by it at first; here he had only wanted a dance; he is aware by being told that Human women can be impulsive, but he did not expect that which came from her. Her lips were warm; he felt something more than that off her; this was not a whim but a desire, she did not have this intensity often and that came through making it more special to him. He placed his arms around her and returned the soft kiss while being awash in the emotion of intimacy. 
 
He felt so warm, his breath light, a slightly tangy taste to him; wait, do holograms have breath like that? Do they have a taste to them? * He's real!* she thought as she gently broke the kiss, trying not to panic or blush; she failed on the blushing part, dismally.
 
"You're real! I .....I was thinking.... you were..... not that I didn't enjoy.... " Michelle was almost in a panic, not knowing what to think or say.
 
Looking into her eyes he smiled what he hoped was of the same warmth he had experienced and he nod as the fear came to him; she had not realized something and it was bothering her. He was not one to kiss and tell, it would be hard to do so anyway with the amazing lack of friends he had acquired thus far; he had numerous acquaintances but any depth of connection was lost.. until she kissed him. She had kissed him. He had a sparkle in his eye from it; intimacy with a telepath is what he enjoyed at home but this woman came in to dance and her emotions spiked in a pleasant way. He wished he had found his PADD to relay he fact he had no hard feelings; quite the contrary, he had not felt so accepted so quickly since coming aboard. 

He could only stare into her eyes; the depth of her soul through the magical gateway. HIS people had the ability to feel, affect and heal if needed. Having an emotional connection is in their biology, but having hsii mind silent to her did hurt, he just hoped it was not in his eyes as she might get the wrong impression?
 
"I'm sorry....." Michelle looked around, she now knew how Cinderella felt when the clock chimed midnight. "Sorry...." she said. She felt as though she was that embarrassed she could glow in the dark.

She turned and ran off the Holodeck, her eyes starting to well up. How could she be so stupid, sure, he hadn't said a word; how could she have gotten so caught up in a dance that she didn't even ask his name or why he didn't want to talk!

Softtouch did not need his telepathy to know she was upset and chasing after her with no way to express himself would only hurt her more; it was his lack of expressive method that caught him again. He snapped his left hand so loud it echoed. 

Like a light switch the holodeck faded to the black and red. He looked only a couple of meters away, surprising they had not stepped on it during the dance, was the PADD. He shook his head as he could not page her as he did not know her name; she had not really given it, he walked to it and saw it was right beside her jacket she had worn in here. 

*She was beautiful and so soft of being, quiet type that has a depth unknown to the surface.* He muttered internally, picking up his PADD and the jacket. *I will find her and return what she forgot.* He told himself. "How many female dancers...* 

'Computer, name of woman who entered program...' He began his search.

The computer verbally answered in it's usual dry and monotone way. "Last entrant and last program interaction: Rogers, Michelle. Activation of private music records, Feel the Light."


That was all he needed to know to make this right.
