Frost stood outside the room her hands shook, her legs trembled and she looked visibly ill of all the things she had been assigned to do. An autopsy, it was one of those things she feared, dread and had a phobia about. Basically, dead bodies freaked her out.

"Aren't you going to go in doctor?" Thaddius said approaching from behind the doctor. "It's going to be hard to do an autopsy from out here." he said snickering.

Lieutenant Andrews from Science paused outside the room, looking at Dr. Frost. She leaned in and spoke to her. "Doc, you want to lean on me a bit, I'll lean on you, amd we can hold each other up and both hold our breaths."

"Oh, no Sir, not a problem at all. I have assigned someone else to do it but they haven't arrived yet." Frost replied smoothly as perspiration started to form on her forehead and spoke so softly to Andrews that she hoped that Storm did not hear her. "I don't want to lean on anything but the bio hazard container and vomit."

Andrews looked at the Doc. "I hear ya, but *please* don't say 'vomit,' I've been doing *enough* of that lately. Oh, and it's 'Ma'am,' last person that called me 'Sir' needed glasses." Andrews laughed at her private joke.

Frost looked at Andrews as if she had lost her mind. "I called the Commander sir, Lieutenant."

Storm looked quizzically at the women wondering why the doctor did not wish to perform the autopsy herself. With something of such an important nature he expected the most experienced staff to oversee the investigation to mitigate error. "You mean like an assistant right? With you watching over perhaps? I don't want to tell you how to do your job but wouldn't the most experienced hands be the best for a procedure as important as this?"

"Yes, you are absolutely correct Commander Storm, the best person for the job would be the Chief Medical Officer, Lt. Commander Bowen or her assistant Doctor Hart. Either of them are more qualified to do this procedure then I am." Frost replied as she looked around for either of them and they were still no where to be found. Frost shifted again as if she would bolt for the door.

"My apologies Doctor. I was under the impression you were the Chief. Forgive me if I came off as pushy." Thaddius apologized.

"I have not been made aware of that, Commander. If my status has changed since I was away and returned then I have not been informed of said change in command." Frost replied a tone of truth echoed in her voice.

Thaddius shrugged. "I'm new here." he snickered. "I suppose all we can do now is wait."

Frost crossed her arms and stood still and waited as she arched an eyebrow a perplexed look still on her face but did not say anything. ~Bloody hell, I'm going to have to do this autopsy and I don't want to be any where near a dead person~ she thought.

A nurse ran up to the doctor and handed her a padd ans spoke softly. "The information you asked for concerning the death rites of the visiting delegates."

Frost nodded and took the padd "Thank you" She started to read....

Frost sighed after a few moments "Great, everyone garb up so we can get started."

Andrews put on a surgical smock and mask and gloves. Another wave of nausea hit her. "Greattt." She said to herself. "Not now.." She sucked in some air and joined the others.

Thaddius dressed himself in the medical scrubs taking a step back from the professionals as they worked. He wanted no corners to be cut and the evidence to remain pure.

Frost dressed herself and pulled on a pair of gloves and went in to look at the body. She walked around the body. A shiver went up her spine and she started to talk. "Computer begin recording..."

"Subject is..."

[Hours Later]

Frost checked out each body one at a time and entered the data as she went. When she was done she copied that said data to a PADD she handed it to Storm. " There you are Sir, three dead people and the report. What would you like me to do with the bodies?"

Thaddius wasn't entirely sure what to do with the bodies as he was given no instructions. He thought best to return them intact to ere on the side of caution. "I suppose we should return them to the delegation." Storm responded.

"Per your request I will make the arrangements." The doctor replied and pulled off her gloves one at a time. Frost then exited the room and exhaled. She felt ill as she pulled off her jacket.
