"It's not Nero, it's the man behind him that's responsible," Sam said. She was going to add more, but the bolt on the door slid open and she turned to see what the guards wanted this time.
"York," the guards said. "Your turn."
She glanced at Damon for a moment, then turned and followed the guards.
[NEW]
When the door closed behind Sam, Kara walked up to Damon. "I think Cam is close. I talked with him -- telepathically. I'm not sure how far away he is, or how to tell him where we are, but he has to be nearby."
"Just when I got one man to hate you have to go and show who is pulling the strings and putting up the funding." Spartacus said as she moved around the people she wanted to help. "No one I have fought in conjunction with is kept elsewhere I have no connections to anyone but those here Commodore, I wish I could be more help ma'am?"
Carefully tearing and cutting her uniform Jacket, the silk made for fine bandages, she was not as busy as she had hoped, there were fewer to attend to. Death is a factor of life but wholesale Murder and spectacle killing made her stomach turn, the wounding ; maiming and killing of sentient beings made her sick. There was not a doctor; Spartacus was little more than a 'Medic' or what people called a nurse, but she is all that this group really had. "SO who wants the red bandages...." She tried to uplift with some light humor. "I know black goes with everything but add some color to your wardrobe with red..."
Korok growled low, "I don't think that red is really my color." He was tired of sitting and watching people leave but not return. He hated the fact that Nero kept taking women to fight. Not that they weren't skilled. Korok was quite impressed at how these women of the crew of ship he had been on were able to beat those that Nero placed before them. It was a waste though, a waste of life and Korok hated to see that waste occur.
"We have to find a way to let them know where we are," Kara reiterated. "Can we blow something up to create something that cam be registered by the Calypso?"
"If they were close enough for that..." Spartacus was tying off a bandage. "Then any cloaking outside would hide us, the fact we are here is witness to the fact the Ship does not know where we are yet?" She looked to Kara. "When they find us I think we will be the ones hearing things blow up?" She look at her own uniform getting filthy. "ESHa is going to want someone's head for this abuse of her good work, the bandages are okay but to abuse it in combat will irritate her?" Spartacus mused. "I just had this one tailored to..." She chuckled. "Impress my new Commanding Officer."
"You're probably right," Kara said, but she didn't like sitting around, doing nothing. She itched to do more than fight in an arena every day. So she began yet another search of the cell, hoping that she'd missed something the previous dozen times.
Marek definitely hated every minute of this and the feeling of complete uselessness was even more infuriating to say the least.
The door slid open again and Spartacus was taken out of the room.
Before the door could be closed again, two guards dragged the limp corpse of Amarylis. Her limbs were limp and her head bowed down. Blood dripped from her nose leaving a trail as she was thrown into the cell. Her marine uniform was replaced by a short dress which was so tattered it barely covered her body. She did not move when she was discarded, nor make a sound.
Korok had just watched his fighting partner taken, his blood had started to boil in anger this was the third of fourth woman who had been taken and it made no sense to him. He looked at the woman who had returned. He frowned and clenched his jaw as he saw that she was bleeding. Korok picked up some of the bandages and moved to the woman. He had some medic training from before his time on the Ares. He took what was left of his vest and folded it up as a pillow and placed it under the woman and then dabbed at her nose to wipe the blood away. "Miss, can you tell if have any other injuries that need attending to?" He visually searched her legs and arms and face for major cuts that could be seen.
Amarylis moaned and cringed in pain as she attempted to get her bearings. Her eyesight was impaired heavily but she was still able to discern that she was back in her original cell and the Klingon she had met before was attending to her. A Klingon with bedside manner, who woulda guessed? she thought to herself.
Korok noted that she had not moved except for when he moved her. So, he gently started to check for basic breaks. He also checked her pulse, it seemed strong. He did not find any breaks on her arms. Some simple scrapes and cuts, a few bruised where her arm had been grasped to hard. But it seemed like they all had that. Korok saw that she breathed relatively freely and he frowned as he wondered if she was ok or not. He simply cleaned up the blood the best he could from her nose and made her as comfortable as he could and let her be.
"I imagine I probably look like ground meat right now, but beyond what I think is a bruised rib he really didn't get much. Hit like a truck but had no finish. Where's Sam?" Amarylis asked concernedly.
Korok almost jumped when the woman spoke. "They took Samantha York not too long ago." He growled in reply "and they took the green skinned woman, named Spartacus, too." Korok was worried they had only taken women as of late and it bothered him.
Amarylis tried to get up but cringed in pain causing her to halt her ascent. "I've gotta go teach them boys a lesson they won't forget. I've had just about enough with this circus. Be a dear and help me up."
Korok looked at the woman and scowled as she requested help to stand but made a face during her attempt to do so by herself. "If, you can get up by yourself then get up. Otherwise it is best if you stay put for a bit and rest."
Amarylis shook her finger at Korok. "I like you already....in that case, I think I'll stay down here for a little bit longer."
"Hey, what's your plan for teaching them a lesson?" Marek asked as he approached Korok and Amarylis. "I'm Marek Lovok by the way, I don't think we have met."
[Corridors]
Spartacus was walking farther than she had to go for a fight, she came to a set of steps and the guard urged her on. "This was not on my regular Tour." Spartacus said as a Rifle poked her in the back. "I like going new places..." She remarked.
"You are going where an Orion does her best work..." The two men laughed.
Spartacus had a feeling of dread from the two; their auras stank and they were not trying to think quietly in any form. Her eyes that had been hit was swelling up pretty good and she wondered what form of slime Nero had promised her to?
The double doors that opened as she approached told her the time to plan was up, she could not get out of going at this point. She strode in as though she had come to her own quarters. The room was not overly large, a small bathroom off to the side where she could just make out a cramped tub, she would end up naked scrubbing the sap whom she would be paid to 'please.' The bed was a slightly smaller than queen mattress, four posts and mirrors on the roof, a very cliche and hinted at cheap.
"Oh... a soft bed to be in for a change." She cooed as she let the light catch her eyes as only an Orion can; luckily for her Even Orion Males are not immune and by the thoughts she heard of their screaming desires they did not have any 'meds' to counter her heritage. "That floor was so hard on my soft Bum." She gave them a small slow swagger of her hips.
"You know the Drill, get yourself ready..." One of the guards ordered.
"Soft bed and maybe a bath afterward." She gave them a sultry smile and wink as she let the remnants of her uniform Jacket fall away. "If I please them they might even scrub MY back..." She purred as she ran fingers through her hair. "This is much better than being in that ring..." She seemed to struggle with the zipper of her skirt as she let it slide off her hips.
The two men were screaming mentally about their good fortune to get a 'peep show' as Spartacus undressed. They noticed the Garter on her left leg as she backed towards them while fiddling with the tunic zipper.
"I might even get a quick bath before he arrives?" She said in that hungered voice. "Would you mind..." She held her hair up so the guard could reach for her tunic zipper.
The Guard took it quickly and was smiling as Sparta returned the battle field gesture and put an elbow into the guards nose, feeling the cartridge breaking. Her left foot lashed out with force; Shaolin women's kicks are deadly, she had trained by breaking saplings and with her pivot foot well planted she kicked him in the groin
While 'Broken Nose tried to get his bearings Spartacus used a Crane Style strike to the Solar Plexsis. as The other man; still doubled over went for his disruptor in the holster; Spartacus reached for the dagger in her garter in hopes he was slower than she feared...

[Elsewhere]
Sam was in a dark cell. No lights, no openings but the small door that was locked and bolted behind her. But the smell of death was nauseating. Someone was being tortured nearby. She could hear the sound of something, a whip or a stick, hitting something softer. The sound of someone keening in pain, raising to a high-pitched scream each hit, was deafening. She couldn't tell if it was a male or female. It seemed to go on and on, finally ending in silence.
She waited for someone to get her, take her to be tortured, too, but no one came.
After a long time, she wasn't sure how long, the door opened. Nero stood in the opening, braced by four large guards. "Samantha York, I warned you, but you do not listen. And so now, I am here to tell you that your pet Orion is dead. She would not cooperate and my guards," he gave two of them a displeasing stare, "had no choice but to disintegrate her."
With that Nero tossed the tunic, skirt and remnants of the jacket onto the floor in front of them. "Resistance is futile."
The guards stepped back, indicating that Sam should exit the cell and go with them.
"They will take you back to the others. I hope this news will be a clear reminder of who is in charge."
Before Sam could reply, Nero left, leaving the guards to escort her back.
Sam picked up the clothes, not saying a word. She was somber as she walked down the corridors and back to the others.
She walked into the cell and went straight to Damon and hugged him. "They killed Spartacus."
Korok looked up from the woman he had attended too. "WHAT?" he growled, his dark eyes flashed with anger. Korok stood up and went to the door and started to bang on it. "You cowards! Killing innocent women." ~I am so glad that Roberta isn't here~ That thought made him madder and he banged harder.
Amarylis cringed as she slowly propped herself up against the wall looking towards the door. "Every...Everyone of them." she began with a pant. "I'm gonna kill every one of them." She could feel the rush of adrenaline begin to mask her injuries. Her limbs felt a new strength as her heart filled with hate.
The guard laughed at the pathetic Klingon before he spoke. "Of all the things to say of an Orion Trash, she was deflowered in her youth, she was bred for the pleasure of others." He stepped closer. "She squeeled in agony as she died." He laughed. "As a Klingon you know how agonizing a disruptor is when it kills..." He nod. "Do not act so innocent Klingon; your weapons do the same sort of damage with no 'Stun' setting."
"Open the door, then if you have nothing to fear coward!" Korok growled louder "and she may have been bred for pleasure but how was her death pleasurable to anyone. After all you can't enjoy a flower petal if its ripped off the flower. Stupid, so stupid."
"Disintegration save us having to 'dump' that trash..." The guard snickered. 'You should thank us, she only suffered a few seconds rather than spending the night with the 'friends' we had arranged for her."
Korok rammed his shoulder against the door and cursed at the guard in Bajoran that in essence said something about the guards mother. (ooc: I am not good at saying bad things about moms, so I'll leave it to the reader imagination.) "Now open the door."
The guards just laughed. "You think you could take on even one of us? Now that the Orion is dead, you have no one to hide behind."
They continued laughing as they went back out and slammed the door extra loudly before locking and bolting it again.
