Mission: Revenge
[CONTINUED]
The door opened and three large guards stood outside. "You, Klingon. Time to fight."
Korok stood
"The Traitor as well." The Third man motioned with his weapon to Spartacus. "You will not be so lucky this time." He laughed. A Traitor and former Ally in one stroke, the crowd will love it
"Round two..." Spartacus said to herself as the gun was pointed at her, she sensed them thinking of her directly and not for lustful reasons, a dead give away she was next.
"Orion Slave Trash." One of the guards all but spat. "You bring shame to those that trained you." He look at her boots and remembered the silver anklet that adorned her left ankle. "You will fetch a fine price if they let you live?"
"You might be more careful of what you say?" Spartacus said as she looked them from head to foot with that alluring smile. "You don't make enough to afford me even in poor condition." She walk with the natural cross over she had been trained to use naturally.
She looked to Korok "Looks like we are partners this time?" She winked.
Korok nodded at the orion woman. He then turned and glowered at his enemy his voice a quiet rumble of a growl. "I wish you would quit insulting her, she is a fine woman indeed. She has more honor then you ever shall."
Spartacus nod to her 'partner' in this round and stepped slightly closer almost seeming to seek his intimidating protection from the guards.
"Traitors to the Syndicate die a horrible death." The Lead Guard said with his weapon leveled. "You will just have to share her fate Klingon.
Korok grimaced as he growled "Considering she has not lost yet. I would say the odds are in our favor of winning this match. "
"You have not seen him fight yet." She said with a grin. "You will be answering to me sooner than you think , believe me." She warned.
"One win should not make either of you so cocky," a guard sneered. "Most prisoners don't survive a month in here."
"I thought it was two wins, but maybe I got bumped on the noggin a bit hard." Korok growled back.
"Between us that makes three." She smiled knowing it would add to her allure, she let the light catch her eyes as only an Orion woman can as she let her hair down, the genie out of the bottle, and a side of her she kept hidden. "So you boys be my 'escorts...." she let the last word hang with a signal of her allure. "I like to know the men I am around, get that Personal Touch and let you know how much I appreciate your keeping me safe from all these 'Others' that would maybe want to do things that scare me a bit." She winked.
The echo of Spartacus' heels again to be a warning that she approached the exit. Twoo burly and sweat rodden underlings held the equipment this time; she saw a circular shield and a Gladus. She was not looking forward to this fight; she would have to keep her mind focused as there is death on the line. Niro made it clear that these games are to the death.
Spartacus took the offered weapon and shield, showing a face of disgust as the worn hilt that had seen too many sweating hands just felt 'dirty' in her hand. Spartacus was glad the jacket had long sleeves as she did not want to know what was on the straps of the pitted shield? She looked up at Korok.
"Is it too late so say this is disgusting?" She had an almost pleading expression. "Don't they know how to clean weapons... really?"
Korok shook his head "Probably not" He didn't necessarily care what things looked like as long as he wasn't poked or bashed by it. He hefted a shield and strapped it on and then jerked the worn weapon from the guard he swung it to test its weight and balance. "Serviceable" he growled
She was unceremoniously pushed into the Arena, she back kicked a chin before being out the door, someone yelped and would be walking with a slight limp. The opposing force stood across from them, they had nicer clothing and their weapons seemed maintained.
"Damned mercenaries wanting practice." Spartacus shook her head as she saw the two males in gladiator style armor, chest plate wrist and chin guards topped with a helmet to augment the shield and Gladious they wielded. "Why does the Syndicate let crazies in here just to practice killing?" She glanced at Korok. "You want the big one or the littler one?"
"What I want is to go home to my mate and her children." Korok replied. "and I know nothing of the Syndicate. But, I will take the little one as I think its funny to watch a pretty woman like you kick a big man's butt like his." Korok grinned at Teenah and beat his shield twice with his weapon.
"Okay, your wish is my command." She said. "There is a task I can handle." She went towards the larger man and made eye contact. "Mind your ribs, they will know you are wounded a try to take advantage of you."
Korok smirked and thought briefly of another woman and her smile. Blazes he missed his mate. "Let's do this and no, I am not in a hurry to try and die, but one more fight means that I am one step closer to getting back."
"Or one step closer to being dead," a large man said. He picked up a ball and chain and a shield with a spike on the front and grinned.
"Oh I will not die. I may be injured but I will not die." Korok growled confidently and swung his weapon in a arc in front of him.
"I have a manicure appointment next week that I cannot miss, do you realize how expensive a manicure is these days?" Spartacus told them and looked at the sword. "I wish these things came with instructions, I know how to use it but it seems ... small, more like a knife?"
The man raised his shield and blocked Korok's sword, then used his ball and chain to wrap around the Klingon's leg and pulled, knocking his opponent to the ground.
A second man, wiry and unkempt, grinned at Teena. "It won't be a knife poking you, darlin'." He came slowly towards the Orion, watching carefully to see how she would react.
"Especially once I have cut is away from you." Spartacus said as she knew what he was thinking without her heritage but then these were simpletons.
Korok over heard the man's word and simply shook his head. He struggled to get away from the man and the chain wrapped around his legs. Instead of waiting for the man to come to him Korok sat up and did some thing unusual. Instead of trying to unwrap his legs he grabbed the chain and jerk back. Hard, with all his might. The man didn't appear to be expecting it and started to stagger as Korok started to pull the chain nearer to him, one hand over the next. "Come here, wurm."
The man let go of the chain suddenly. He was too smart to let a trick like that get him. He pulled his knife and fell on Korok while he was still tangled in the chain and again on his backside and stabbed the Klingon in the shoulder.
"Not my partner..." Spartacus had the Gladius again in hand as she charged and while the men grapple she had a clear shot at his back, the armor is enough to make a good stabbing difficult she drove the blade into the space between the front and back plates, between the straps and into his side low near the waist with an upward thrust into his organs, twisting it
The howl of pain and elbow to her face took her off target, she had felt worst but often wondered if males were taken aside and taught how to hit a girl on the cheek to get the best results as it came so natural? She rolled aside and hoped she had bought her partner some time to make his move?
Spartacus looked up as her 'Partner ' took the oppurtunity to drive the blade of a Gladius into the chest of the man, the shrill of metal blade opening the chest plate like a can opener to take out the vital organs and the life from the man.
He slumped over a second later.
