Mission: Revenge

ON

Lizzie was surprised when she got to the arboretum and saw her name on a list of people required at a briefing. Why her? She was a botanist and she worked in the arboretum. Granted, she'd served a shift or two on the bridge, but only when absolutely necessary. Still, she wasn't going to get in trouble by NOT showing up. So, she turned around and headed to the meeting.

Dr. Ilse Frost walked down the corridor with another crew member from medical as she headed towards the meeting she explained "He was there one second and then gone the next." She threw her hands up in a slight motion of exasperation "There has to be some thing that Security can do concerning things like that." What Frost did not say was that this was the second ship that something similar had occurred where she had been stationed.

Lieutenant JG Roberta Andrews came into the room and sat down, a scowl on her face. *Someone* or *Something* had stolen members of the crew, including her hus..mate..Korok. They would pay, and pay dearly. She smiled to herself. She knew where Korok hung his Bat'leth..and she knew how to use it.

Ilse followed Andrews into the meeting and sat down across from her. "So, who disappeared in front of you?"

Andrews thought for a moment. "I didn't actually *see* anyone dissappear in front of me..my mate Korok was beside me, when I turned to speak to him he was gone..."

"Sorry to hear that, I had a patient disappear right off the bio bed." Ilse shook her head she looked up as a blonde man entered.

Munich came into the requested meeting with his PADD still typing information into it for use. "Excuse me for being late, I was still confirming the tally and accounting for each crew member ON she ship by interior comms..." He looked up. "I waz a little carried avay, I do have the list of those taken for your checking." He told those there. "The most common connection is that those taken seem to have great prowess in combat..." He checked the list. The Commodore was obvious but the new crew , the Counselor, had just arrived?" He looked up. "Why would they take a counselor?"

"Why would they take civilians?" Dr. Frost asked with a tilt of her head.

"Because they're taking people and not Starfleet officers/" Lizzie suggested.

Eamon walked in with a padd that had engineering's status and a manifest of those taken. He smiled as everyone turned to face him. "Hi, sorry I'm late, just finishing up my report. Took longer then I expected." He went to an empty seat and then remembered that the Commodore was among the kidnapped.

"The counselor is an Ensign, Federation Citizen and recently promoted from an 'experience' in the field with the Diplomatic Corps." Munich said. "She only just arrived I ad some of her file with her quarters request. I wonder if she could be part of the dynamics, we know little about what she did and the Diplomatic Corps, could have made enemies?"

Leroy stepped inside the office, his fighter still warmed, prepped and ready to fly. Not speaking to anyone, he checked his padd, noticing only three quarters of his men were ready to go, the others had disappeared with the other members of the crew. Standing in the back, near the shadows, he waited.

Alexandra entered the room purposefully making her way to the end of the table. She stood before the group of officers quickly taking note of who was present and what departments they had represented.

Each department was covered for with a department head or assistant except security. Although she had no information on whom was missing she was certain at least SOMEONE from security must have remained.

"Computer is Lieutenant Morrow still aboard the Calypso?"

"Affirmative." The computer replied.

"Well then I'm glad to see security is being taken seriously on this ship." Alexandra stated in an angered sarcastic tone infuriated by the irresponsibility of her new security chief. She stared over at Leroy. She hid her emotions about the fact she was about to address someone she had last seen as a corpse. "Master Sergeant Mangalia you will pass any information here to Lieutenant Morrow.

Now, as you must be undoubtedly aware several key members of our crew have suddenly vanished from the ship. Given the circumstances we are to assume this was an act of an outside force and we are to act as if their lives hang in the balance. Our response is time sensitive and must be swift. Complacency has no place on this ship now. Their lives are in our hands.

Amongst the missing members is our Commanding Officer, Commodore York. Until such a time as she can be located I am assuming command of the ship in an acting role and I will be informing star fleet after this briefing, I will also inform the crew as such. Do not take this as a message of abandonment. This is a necessary action, but we are NOT leaving Commodore York or anyone else behind, I don't care what we have to do to ensure that."
